A sweet but faded smile adorned her face as she looked at him from afar.

He was talking to a girl, earlier in the day, Shivaay Jiju had told this girl is Omkara's college friend, from the look of it; Gauri sensed that Omkara remembered her quite clearly, in fact they seemed to be remembering some college incidents as they laughed together , holding hands.

As she was lost in staring at him, a hand at her shoulder startled Gauri, turning she looked towards the owner of that hand.

" You scared me dii!" Gauri exclaimed chirpily.

"Stop acting Gauri, it's been more than an year, till when are you going to wait and think that at least someday he'll remember you, he has forgotten you completely Gauri, he has forgotten your love completely, I know it was Omkara who had that accident but the one who actually lost her everything is you Gauri, he forgot the years he spent with you, the years he loved you and the worst part is, We can't even remind him anything because the doctor thinks that's it's going to create complications, he needs to remember everything organically, hell,  when is he going to remember, he sees you daily but still doesn't remember even a bit, I can't see my sister suffer like this everyday, You feign happiness but I can see that hidden sadness, I can see it Gauri...you are broken from within,  accept it, he isn't going to remember,
I would rather prefer to say that even you should forgive him now..." Tear drops fell down Annika's eyes as she was saying the words, she was abruptly cut in the middle by Gauri.

" Dii, how can you say that? My love for Omkara isn't restricted at 'if he loves me back' I love him and that is regardless of 'does he love me', it never was and here, here we are talking about a situation where he does love me, Dii off course he has forgotten about our love story but that does not mean he has ceased to love me, Dii his memory is gone, not his love for me and who says that he hasn't remembered anything, he has remembered dii, not completely but I know he remembers our moments together and I know one day he'll remember them complete,  know that they aren't  random dreams but incidents that happened with him, that that blurry girl in his thoughts is me, I trust my Omkara, I trust my Love and I know my trust isn't wrong, it's not going to go futile, it's going to yield results...sooner or later it's going to and I am ready to wait, be is for days, months, years or decades, Gauri will wait for her Omkara, I will." Gauri stated as tears threatened to fall down her eyelids, she didn't let them though.

"Atleast cry once Gauri..." Annika said staring at her sister with pity, she knew her sister will destroy herself in this love.

" I promised Omkara that I won't cry when he was going into ICU, how can I break my promise?" Gauri's smile returned.

" Really, even he promised you he'll never even look at another girl like that and now see..." Annika turned her eyes towards Omkara who was standing in the hall with the girl, the girl moved forward for a hug as she was about to leave.

Gauri turned her eyes in Omkara's direction as she saw Omkara move back before the girl could hug him, he rather raised his hand for a handshake with a sheepy smile.

Gauri smiled at Annika who looked at her uncertainly, meanwhile

"Ok dii, Bye...Will meet you tomorrow." Gauri went to the main hall speaking as Annika went behind her smiling too.

" Hey Gauri, are you going back? Very early, leave it, come, I'll drop you..." Omkara got his hand free from his friend's as he went to Gauri who nodded with a beautiful smile.
