1.

She looked at him as he was entering the college talking to his friends, she could look nowhere else after that.

2.-After Few Days

"Hi, Gauri here..." Gauri smiled as she put forward her hand for a handshake.

"Omkara, nice to meet you Gauri." Omkara smiled back, Gauri was already lost in his smile.

3.-After 4 months

"I love you Omkara!" Gauri smiled as she forwarded the rose in her hand towards Omkara, Omkara moved back.

"But I don't Love you Gauri...I am sorry..." He walked back as Gauri stared at him going, drops of tears continuously fell down her eyes.

"But we can remain friends?" Omkara turned to ask as wiping her tears she nodded with a smile.

4.- 2 months later

"Rhidhimaa, you know what is today's hot topic in college...your break up with Omkara." Rhidhimaa's friend told her as soon as she entered the college.

Rhidhimaa got uneasy as she said, "So what, he cheated on me with some other girl, how could I stay with him..."

"Oh really? But Omkara says it was you who cheated." Gauri said from behind as Rhidhimaa turned.

"And just  because he says, you believe, why so?" Rhidhimaa glared at Gauri as Gauri walked up to her.

"Because I trust Omkara, more than myself." Gauri turned to leave.

"And why this much trust?" Rhidhimaa angrily questioned from behind.

"Because he is the most truthful man I have known, he is equivalent to God for me..." Gauri said while walking away.

6. After few days-

"Rhidhimaa, I am not interested, I am sorry..." Omkara said walking as Rhidhimaa was continuously trying to pursue him to be back with her, someone held her hand from behind.

"Ouch" Rhidhimaa screamed as Gauri twirled her arm behind her back, Omkara stopped.

"He refused once, right? Then can you just stop disturbing his life and if you don't, you would see who I truly am. "Gauri's eyes reflected fire as she twirled Rhidhimaa's hand more tightly and then left it, Rhidhimaa left passing a last glare to Gauri.

"Thank...You Gauri." Omkara was left saying as Gauri smiled to him.

7. After about 20 days-

"Gauri..." Omkara held Gauri's hand as his eyes teared up, he sat by her hospital bed, she had met with a severe accident.

"Chalo, Zindagi Mein Na Sahi, Maut Se Pehle To Tumne Mera Haath Thama." Gauri laughed slightly as she closed her eyes, never to open them again.

"Gauri..." Only a whisper left Omkara's mouth as he started crying profusely, he believed he didn't love her but unknown to him his heart had betrayed him long back.

A/N: So something actually weird, a one-sided love of Gauri, I basically got this idea from the concept of seven stages of love about which I heard in the Television Serial 'Dil Hi Toh Hai' a few months back, I know it turned out to be weird but nevertheless I wanted to write it so wrote, the points indicate the seven stages of love as I interpreted their meaning. Hope you all liked it.
