Alright. Let me get this out of the way. I highly recommend this anime. But I will also warn you all that you will never be the same after watching this masterpiece.

I will not go into spoiler territory for obvious reasons.

I cannot believe how great Anohana is. It manages to develop 6 main protaganists and make them 6 of the most complex and well written characters that I've ever seen and they also managed to make the side characters interesting. And you know what's really shocking? They manage to do all this in ELEVEN EPISODES. They manage to make you want to root for these characters when they're trying their hardest. They will make you happy for them when they triumph. They will make you cry when the characters do. In short, every single one if the characters are all complex. Each with their own distinct personalities. They all lost something that summer day and they cope with it in different ways.

The characters in Anohana are all relatable in their own way. So relatable and loveable in fact that you can't even bring yourself to hate even one of them once the series ends.

And holy shit. That ending. I- I will not spoil it but... you just have to watch the anime. The ending is just so satisfying but heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. It is the culmination of the ten episodes before it. And it fucking nails the emotional moments. I have cried TWICE in this episode and continued to cry for god knows how long even after the credits rolled. It's just that good.

I guess it's time to talk about the other stuff.

The animation of Anohana is really good and the voice acting is straight up god tier. You can feel every emotion the voice actors put into it. The studio behind Anohana, A-1 pictures, put their very best effort and even more into bringing these characters to life. They went above and beyond.

Look, I'm not gonna go and type another essay on how much of a masterpiece Anohana is. I'm just gonna give you this song.

I guarantee you that after watching this anime, you will not see this song the same way again.
