Chapter 55: G.G.F
Juvia's POV
He suddenly said that we both need to go to the hospital. He needs to visit someone there and since I'm already with him, I decided to come along with him.
While driving, his right hand was still intertwined with my left hand. It felt nostalgic, like in those days when he and I were still dating. We wouldn't had even met and get to know each other if it weren't for Juvia's bracelet so I'm glad that it turned out this way.
I smiled as I remembered his words. I felt so happy when he said that he still loves me but... What will his reaction be when he finds out the truth? When can I tell him that?
I tensed up when he suddenly raised out intertwined hands to his lips and he gave a deep kiss on my hand. I blushed at his sudden actions. He used to do this all the time before and he's doing it again.
I looked away and just focused on the road ahead of us. Will fate let us be together again?

I froze at my place as Gray lets go of my hand and goes to that sick person. No way... I wasn't expecting to see him now.
"Gray, I'm glad that you came." It was Gray's grandfather, AKA Grandpa Gold Fullbuster. He's also the reason why the two of us broke up.
"Tsk, grandpa. Seriously, you should take care of your health. I'm getting worried and I'm glad that you survived that test." Gray said and sighed.
"Don't worry about me and just concentrate on your work, Gray." He chuckled.
I gulped and tried to get out of this room. Why now? Why did I have to meet him now? Of all times, of all places... What a bad timing.
I flinched when his eyes darted towards me. "... Oh, it's your ex, Gray. Are you two back together again?"
"Uh, no..." Gray said and scratched his neck. He glances at me as he continued on speaking. "But I want us to be together again. Grandfather, I want to break my marriage contract with Ultear."
Grandpa Gold's eyes widened. "W-What?"
"I just can't marry a girl that I don't love. I'm sorry, grandfather. If you're saying that I will be happy with her, then you're wrong." Gray said and smiled towards me. "Juvia Lockser is the only one for me. Even if it takes weeks and months, or even years for her to answer me, I won't give up on her just like how she did back then."
"G-Gray..." I was touched by his words.
But will his words stay the same in the other days?
"You kept on saying that but you don't know the truth." Grandpa Gold shook his head.
Gray was taken aback and he looked at me, and then at his grandfather. "What the—? How come you know that too?" I looked away from seeing his expression.
"... Ah, nevermind that. Gray, please buy me some food at the cafeteria. I'm getting a little hungry." Grandpa said and chuckled.
Gray squinted his eyes at him, thinking if he should go or not. Well, he has a question unanswered so... "... Fine then."
...
What? He's going to leave me here all alone with him?!
And before I know it, he was already outside of the room, giving me a nervous feeling. What now? Will grandpa Gold scold me for being in his life again?
"Since when were you back in his life, Juvia?" He asked as he took a newspaper on his coffee table.
"... It's almost been a week." I answered, not looking at him straight in his eyes.
"A week, huh?" He replied back. "... For 7 years, you two never saw each other again but I guess fate brought the two of you back together. So now what, are you two dating each other now?"
I frowned at his reply. "... No, we're not... He still doesn't know the truth so I haven't answered him yet."
"... Do you... Still love my grandson?"
I was surprised at his sudden question. Why is he questioning me this now? "I-I... Of course, I still do. But grandpa Gold, you ruined the two of us."
He chuckled and closed his newspaper and put it on the coffee table beside him. "I know, I know..."
.
.
.
"And I was an idiot."

Gray's POV
When I got back to the hospital to bring his food, grandfather suddenly said that he wanted to rest and he wants the two of us to go home now. Ah, that reminds me... We both left work today.
And so, here we are, at the car. I've decided to let Juvia come home to her home today while I'm going to work.
"What?!" She asked furiously. "Gray, I won't go home. I want to come to work too!"
"And what? To see Hibiki?" I asked, trying to hide my jealousy. Note that I said, trying.
She confusingly looked at me and said, "Gray, you know that that's not why I'm going. Hibiki and I... We're just friends. He's not my boyfriend at all."
I suddenly stopped the car at the side of the road from her response and looked at her while gaping. So, all this time I thought that they're dating when they're not?
"But why did Hibiki act like that when—" I paused, figuring out the situation. "... Oh, now I get it. Hibiki has a thing for you."
"What?" She asked. "Ah... Well, he's been hitting on me ever since and—"
"F*ck him." I said and rolled my eyes. Just thinking of him makes me sick. "... He reminded me of Lyon in high school. You're not answering me because you're confused with your feelings with him?"
"What?? No!" She said and pouted. Oh my... She looks so cute. I missed that face. "I don't like Hibiki at all. We just met each other and—"
"But why won't you answer me?" I asked, cutting her off from speaking. "If you don't love him, then that means I have a chance..."
"Gray, please... Give me some time. You still don't know about the truth." She said and looked away from me.
"Truth, truth, truth. Yes, I don't know about it and what? Even grandpa knows about it." I replied and still looked at her. "Look, whatever it is, I won't and will never change my mind. No matter what happens, it's still the same."
She didn't say anything after that so I decided to drive again to her home. Funny, I still know where she lives. I hope it's still the same place where I used to go to.
In a couple of minutes, we arrived at her house. It looked the same to me and I can't help but smile. This house has many memories of the two of us as well.
She removes her seatbelt and was about to open the door but I grabbed her wrist and pulled her closer. I gave her a kiss on her cheek and whispered in her ear, "See you tomorrow, baby."
Her cheeks turned red because of what I called her and I took that as a good sign. You don't know how much I missed calling you that. It makes me feel like you really belong with me. She opens the door without saying another word and closed it without even looking back.
Ah, she must be embarrassed.
Oh well.
I started driving towards my work after I saw her enter her house.

8:00 P.M. • Fullbuster Residence
When I came to my room, I saw Ultear on my bed with nothing but a bathrobe on her, I can tell. Whenever she sleeps here, I only let her sleep on the guest room, not in mine so what is she doing here?
"Ultear, what are you doing?" I asked and she looked like she's posing at me. It's not gonna work, stop it.
"Gray-kunnnn~" She purred at me afterwards and walked towards me. She held my necktie and played with it. "I've decided to give myself to you today."
I stared at her with a blank expression. "Ultear, stop this nonsense. And I've decided to break our marriage contract so now, go to the guest room."
"But Gray-kun," She wraps her arms around my neck and said, "I need you."
"But I don't need you."
She pouted and she leaned towards me. What the—? She smells like alcohol but she doesn't look like she's drunk. She was so close to kissing me on my lips but again, I covered hers by using my hand.
I sighed and fixed my glasses. "Ultear, please... Just stop."
She backs away from me and asked in disbelief, "I don't get it... Why didn't my charms work on you? Am I that ugly?"
"Ultear, it won't work on me unless you're someone I love." I replied, not looking at her face. I then remembered the time at Anju's place when Juvia was just in a towel.
She frowned and said, "Gray, she doesn't love you back. Why can't you see that—"
"She does." I said, confidently. "And I know it because... We've been together for almost a year and a half back then. I know her very well."

After this books ends, there will be a lot of revising. *sighs*
