Juvia's POV

Is it really okay for me to tell Hibiki about it? I hope he'll keep it as a secret though. I don't want anyone to know about it, no one should know about it. Wah, Lucy might scold me for this.

No, I will not tell her about it.

But I hate keeping secrets.

"Hey Juvia!" Hibiki greeted me when I was about to enter the company. Yes, I'm walking here. He puts an arm around me and said, "Nice seeing you today."

I rolled my eyes and removed his arm from me. "Hibiki, what are you doing?"

"What? I'm just greeting my friend here." He replied, still wearing that smile of his. "And, I enjoyed our date 2 days ago!"

"It's not a date."

"It is a date."

"..."

Is he serious about that?

Gray's POV

"Gray-kun, can I have a sleepover at your house later?" Ultear asked as she sat on my table on where I was using my laptop and working.

"Do what you want." I said, not giving her any glances and continued on my work.

She pouted and twirled her hair. "... Hmm? Why are you so serious today? This isn't like you at all, Gray-kun. Did something happen?"

"... Ah, it's nothing to worry about." I said as I remembered what happened yesterday.

While I was out for walking, I saw Juvia waiting at the theater yesterday and I decided to tail her there. And that Hibiki showed up and he even held her hand that I used to hold always back in high school. I really want to strangle him to death there.

I purposely followed the two of them to the cafe and texted Juvia to see if she'll reply. My heart melted when I saw her genuine smile and started typing on her phone. I wish you're still mine. I wish that we can rewrite our past and get back together again. But that's all useless now.

I couldn't take it anymore when I saw her eating with Hibiki so I stood up and surprisingly, I bumped into Juvia on my way out. I'm glad that she didn't notice me.

And that's all to it. I stopped following them. Hibiki might really be the one for Juvia... They're dating now...

"Gray-sama."

I suddenly stopped working on my laptop and looked at Ultear with my eyebrow raised up. She was smirking and said, "I figured that you'll finally look at me in the eyes if I call you that."

"Don't ever... Call me that again." I muttered and returned my gaze to my laptop.

"What? Is she the only one who's allowed to call you that?"

I frowned and looked away from her. She's gone nuts. What is she thinking? She knows very well what happened to me and Juvia back then.

"What the—??" She gasped and stood up from my desk. "... Don't tell me, you still like her—?" I just ignored her for a few seconds and she continued, "Come on, Gray! Grow up! She's never going to get back with you. She's with Hibiki now and you're with me. It's been 7 years, right?? How come your feelings didn't disappear??"

"... Tsk, it's none of your business."

"It is my business." She said and got teary-eyed. "I am your fiance and you wouldn't even let me kiss you directly on your lips. You wouldn't even go out with me seriously and it's hurting me, Gray... So much..."

I immediately looked at her when she wiped her eyes. She's right. Our marriage was supposed to be 4 years ago but I refused and didn't want to do it no matter what. And she did try to kiss me multiple of times now and I avoided it. I only let her kiss me on my cheeks but other than that, no. I'm surprised that grandfather and Ultear's dad are keeping our fiance thingy up till now.

But I'll do whatever it takes to stop the marriage. I can't marry someone I don't love after all.

"I love you, Gray-kun. Don't you know that?"

I widened my eyes when she suddenly wrapped her arms around my neck and was near my face. "... I love you so much, Gray-kun. It hurts me to see you in love with someone who hurt your heart. Please, let me be the one to mend it."

She closed her eyes and started leaning to my lips but I quickly covered her lips and pushed it away gently.

"... I'm sorry, Ultear. I'm really sorry."

She whimpered when she got off of me. "Gray-kun, why are you doing this?? You won't be happy with that girl, I just know it!"

"And you think that I'll be happy with you?"

My eyes suddenly stopped at the two people getting out of the elevator. His arm was around hers again and it didn't seem like she minds it now.

But I mind it.

"Gray-kun!"

"Ultear, stop this nonsense. I don't know what you're talking about anymore." I said as I closed my laptop and stood up from my seat.

"What?!"

I opened the door of my office and got out, leaving Ultear crying there. I started walking towards the two of them who are laughing with each other. It makes me so mad that he can do anything with you, Juvia.

Hibiki noticed me and gulped. "M-Mr. Gray."

I gave him a small glare and he removed his arm from Juvia. She looked at me confusingly and said, "S-Sir, we—"

"Come with me." I held her hand and pulled her away from Hibiki. I can hear her calling my name but I didn't answer her.

I directly went inside the elevator with her inside too. I didn't let go off her hand and she still kept on asking me, what's my problem, what's wrong with me, things like that. But I just ignored her.

When we're in the ground floor, a lot of employees stared at us but I could care less. Juvia struggled as she tried to let go of my hand but I ended up holding her tighter.

I pulled her outside and still continued on ignoring her calls. I let her get inside my car and that's when I finally let her go and I got inside as well.

"Gray, what's going on with you?? Are you crazy?!" She exclaimed as I started the engine of my car.

I started driving and she still kept on shouting as if she's been kidnapped. "Gray, stop this instant! What kind of CEO would just leave his company out of the blue?? And where are you taking me this time?!"

I don't really know where we're going as well. I just want to make my anger on Hibiki disappear with Juvia by my side because she calms me and makes me who I am. After a couple of minutes later, she finally stopped talking and just cooperated with me.

Ah, that made my ears numb.

What am I doing? Where am I taking her? She might even hate me more for this but I don't care anymore. I can't wait for another 7 years.

"Gray, I will really open this door and jump if you still keep on ignoring me."

And that's when I finally stopped my car to the side. We're still on the road. I gripped unto my wheel and sighed. "... I just... I just couldn't accept it."

"What? What are you talking about?" She asked.

"That he's my replacement in your life." I said and looked at her straight in her beautiful dark blue orbs that I used to stare at always. "I can't accept it, Juvia. What did you see in him that you didn't see in me?"

She blinked her eyes fast and was taken aback. "W-What...?"

"I'm so f*cking jealous right now, Juvia. I'm so f*cking jealous that I wanted to rip his throat out earlier when his arm was around you." I said and hissed. "I should've done it when I had the chance."

"But Gray, why do you have to be so jealous? I thought we were over and—"

"Damn it, can't you see it?" I messed up my hair in frustration as I looked at her again. "... I'm still in love with you, Juvia. 7 years has passed but my heart still longs for you. Even if you broke up with me and hurt me, I still love you, so much. I also miss you calling me with -sama. That started out with our deal back then but you know? Ever since you started calling me that, I had the urge to hear you on calling me that again and again. I hate the fact that you have Hibiki now in your life and got so jealous... I just wanted to be by your side again... Juvia, I love you."

Her eyes softened as she gave me a sad smile. "B-But Gray, Ultear—"

"F*ck her. I'll do anything to cancel my marriage contract with her. I'm the CEO now and I have the power to do that." I held her hand and gave it a light squeeze. "... Juvia, please. Give me another chance to be in your life again. I won't give up on you, like how you did to me back then when I was so in love with Lucy. You didn't give up on loving me so Juvia..."

A few tears escaped her eyes and said, "B-But Gray... I-I... I don't know what to do anymore..."

I raised my hand to her face and wiped her tears using my thumb. "Be with me, Juvia. Just be with me. I promise you that we'll be both happy."

"Gray, y-you don't know what you're doing." She said and cried again. "You don't know the truth yet and I don't know if you'll still say that after learning it."

Truth?

"What are you talking about? The truth?" I asked.

She was about to say something but my phone suddenly rang so I quickly answered it. "Hello? ... What? ... Aish. what is he doing? Okay, I'll go immediately. Please hang unto him doctor."

I closed my phone and looked at Juvia again. "We'll have this talk again, Juvia. I won't give up on you. I don't know what is the truth you're talking about but whatever happens, my words will stay the same. I'm sure."
