Juvia's POV

~•5:00 A.M.•~

I yawned as I got inside the helicopter and Gray followed after. We just bidded our farewells to Anju after eating breakfast at her place and her omelette, is a must. It tastes really, really good. Hers is better than mine, which disappointed me a little.

I gotta improve them.

We left earlier than expected and it's 4:30 A.M.

I leaned on the headrest that was placed on the seats of the helicopter and started dozing off to sleep. Little did I know, I started to dream about...

~•Juvia's Dream•~

"Gray, I'm really sorry for everything... I-I didn't want to do it, believe me but... I just didn't want you... T-To..." I took another deep breath. I had told him about everything. I decided that it's the right time to tell him today. Not any other day, but today.

He was shocked.

Who wouldn't be?

I felt like I played with Gray's Feelings for all these years. I'm so disappointed with myself.

"... Do you think this is a joke?"

I widened my eyes as I looked at him. "W-What?"

"You shouldn't have believed him, Juvia. I love you and you love me. You should've told me about that so I could talk it with grandpa... I'm sorry, I just feel really useless now. So everything I've gone through, including the emotional disorders and the days that I forgot to eat was all because of a lie?"  He asked as his eyebrows furrowed and he tightens his grip on his fist.

"... I couldn't blame you though. You were scared but..." He lowers his head as a tear escaped his eye. I took another step towards him, signalling that I wanted to comfort him right there but he stopped me by raising his hand.

"... It just f*cking hurts..." He muttered as he turned his back on me. "... I'm going to continue my marriage with Ultear..."

"G-Gray-sama—"

"Don't call me that. You don't have any right to call me that anymore..." He said sternly.

He started acting cold all of the sudden. How am I supposed to react to that?

"This is for real... I'm letting you go. I can just find another P.A. and someone who'll teach my accountants. I'll talk to Mr. Will, don't worry." He reassured me, but I wasn't.

I couldn't control it anymore. Tears escaped through my eyes as I slid down, feeling wobble on my legs and almost sat on the floor. "G-Gray..."

This couldn't be...

I can't waste another 7 years waiting for you...

"Don't worry, baby. I'm here. I won't leave you."

I immediately woke up from my sleep and I was greeted by Gray's confused face. He wasn't that near so I didn't get worried about it. I touched my forehead and felt a cold sweat. Cold sweat? I was also breathing heavily, like I have asthma.

"Hey, are you okay? You've been groaning and whimpering during the entire ride. I was supposed to call a doctor but you woke up so I'm relieved now." He said.

Oh, why is he acting so caring suddenly?

"Y-Yeah, I was just having a bad dream." I said as I looked away from him and wiped my sweat using a towel that was in my bag. It was already 8 in the morning and I decided to not sleep again or else, I might have that same dream again.

But...

What was that just awhile ago?

I couldn't tell if it's from the dream or...

I looked at him and saw him putting on earphones and looking at his window.

I shook my head and looked straight ahead. No, no. It's impossible to think about that. But no matter how much I think about it, it sounded so real... So real that I wanted to hug him right here, right now and kiss him and tell him that I love him...

But I can't.

I don't have that right anymore.

"Gray, I've misssd you." When we both went to his office, he was greeted by Ultear and she gave him a kiss on his cheeks. "Did you eat well there? Did you sleep well?"

"Yeah, I did. Don't worry." He said and reassured her.

I rolled my eyes at them. Ugh, why are they acting so lovey-dovey in front of me?

"Hey, let's date later at dinner time? Are you free?" She asked with a smile and snaked her arms around his arm. Blegh.

He sighed and shook his head. "No, I'm not free. I have a meeting with two people at a nearby restaurant later. Sorry about it."

Ultear pouted. "Aw... That's too bad."

I couldn't help but snort quietly because I felt bad for her. Gray never cancels our date before but he did with her. Or wait, did he once cancel our date?

Oh my...

I forgot.

"Lockser, you heard me, right? You'll accompany me again later at 6 in the evening." He suddenly said and turned his head to me and I stopped snorting.

"Okay— Wait, what?" I murmured the two last words to myself. I need to be with him later at dinner?! Even I can't bear the feeling of us being in the same house yesterday and now— Huhu...

I lowered my head in front of them before getting out of his office. Before I could take another step and I'm glad I didn't because I would've been kissed by a stranger. I was greeted by Hibiki with a smile on his face and he was crouching down to my level.

"Hey there, cutie." He said and smirked.

I rolled my eyes at him and gently pushed him away so I could walk towards my office. I heard him snickering and he even followed me inside.

I sighed and sat on my chair while he sat on the chair he was sitting on the other day. I put my bag on top of the table and asked, "What are you doing, Hibiki? Do you have something to tell me?"

"I was curious about you and Mr. Gray." He started and made me flinch on my seat. "I was really surprised, you know? Does Mr. Gray likes you or something? I don't think so because of Ultear-sama but it could be a possibility. "

"No, no, it's not that." I said and ran a hand across my hair. "I was surprised too, you know?"

"Hn, glad to hear that from you but you better be careful around now." He said and looked behind him before looking at me again. "Everyone in the company thinks that you're Mr. Gray's ex-girlfriend from before. It's all around the place, even in other branches. It spreaded like wildfire after they saw you and Mr. Gray holding hands..."

I widened my eyes as I sinked in to my chair. "W-What...?"

How am I supposed to react to that? It's true that I'm his ex-girlfriend but... But... How did they know? Is it from the rumor before that his ex-girlfriend got into the company?

"How am I supposed to walk around the company freely now?" I asked and slapped myself again. Uh, that became my habit. Better stop that.

He smiled. "Don't worry, Juvia. I told some of the employees that it wasn't true and we shouldn't judge you both from what we saw. Now that I've talked to you, I'm convinced that you're not his ex because..."

He rests his elbow on top of my table and his palm in his chin. He stared deeply in my eyes as he muttered the words, "You're too beautiful for him."

I rolled my eyes again and smacked him on his head. "Aish, why are you saying those kind of things in this situation?"

"O-Ow... That hurts." He rubbed the part where I hit him and he even hissed. "What? I was only telling the truth."

I furrowed my eyebrows. Is he hitting on me?

"Hey, wanna go out somewhere this Saturday? I did say before that we should hang out sometimes." He suddenly said, changing the topic. "We're both free on that day, I already checked."

"I... Uh... Sure. I'll go." I said. I can't say no to him, especially when he's smiling like that.

"Great! Let's meet up at the movie theater at 12 P.M. and let's do a lot of things on that day." He grabs his phone from the pocket of his jeans and puts it on my hand. "Here, put your phone. I'll text you later so you'll know my number too."

I nodded and typed on his phone my number. After that, I lend his phone back and he puts it on his pocket. "There we go. I'll see you on Saturday then. It's in 2 days, right?"

"Yeah, yeah. I know." I said and laughed. "Don't worry."

"Uh... You mark it on your calendar, just to be sure." He reminded me and snickered. "Or maybe, I'll just text you on that same day too. Yeah, that'll do."

I sighed at his statement. "What? You think I'll forget about it?"

"Pretty much." He said and stood up from his seat. "Well, I'm going to my office now. Mr. Gray might kill me if I stay here any longer."

"Oh, is that so? Okay." I said and bidded him farewell.

He looked behind and smiled, "Bye babe!" And he runs out of my office while laughing, causing the other employees to look at my office as I hid in embarrassment.

Ugh.
