Gray's POV

"I-I want to b-break up with you." She said.

Everyone around us gasped and looked in pity.

I widened my eyes in shock. I flinched and held her wrist. "J-Juvia, what are you saying?"

"J-Juvia doesn't l-love you anymore." She said while her voice is shivering. "Y-You see, Juvia's been meaning to tell you this 2 months and a half ago but she couldn't just say it." She gulped and continued, "J-Juvia's in love with someone else now. I-I'm sorry."

I stood there with pure shock on my face. It took awhile for it to register on my mind. This can't be happening, right? This is just a dream, right?

I walked over to Natsu and grabbed his hand and put it on my cheek. "Natsu, pinch me."

"What?!" He exclaimed.

"Just pinch me! Hurry up!" I ordered him and he did pinch me a little bit hard.

"Ah!" I reacted from the pain. Wait, pain? So this isn't a dream? This is all real? No way...

I turned to Juvia who was looking away from me. I returned at my place where I was facing her and held her shoulders. "Juvia, please tell me you're joking."

She shook her head. "N-No, Juvi--- I'm not joking. This is the truth. I'm sorry!"

She suddenly runs off out the classroom, leaving us in shock.

"No... No..." I mumbled while quivering in fear. "Juvia's not like that... No... No... This isn't happening..."

"Gray..." Erza touched me by my shoulder and Lyon touched my other shoulder and said, "Cousin, please."

"No... NO!" I pushed them all away and started running after her. "JUVIA!"

Juvia's POV

Tears, please don't fall. I don't want to show my weakness to Gray-sama... I don't want this to be hard for the two of us... It's better this way. This is also for Gray-sama's sake.

"JUVIA!"

Oh no.

I quickly ran as fast as I can. I don't know what to say to Gray-sama anymore if he catches up to me. But, he is good at sports so he quickly caught up to me and held my wrist to make me stop from running away from him.

"J-Juvia..." He called out while quivering. I didn't turn to him because... I might cry in front of him again and this would all fail.

He suddenly hugged me from behind and rested his head on my shoulder. I heard him sobbing too. "J-Juvia... *sob* Please... *sob* *sob* Don't leave me. *sob* I don't know *sob* what I'll do *sob* when you're not with me *sob* anymore."

"D-Deal with it." I coldly said. "J-Juvia already told you the reason."

"No, *sob* I know it's all fake." I gulped nervously when he said that.

"N-No... It's not fake..." I answered then bit my lip to stop myself from crying. Juvia, control the rain from your eyes. Conceal it.

"Juvia... You're my everything.*sob*" He hugged me tighter. "I can't live without you... *sob* If this is about Anju, I---"

"This isn't about that girl. This is Juvia's decision." I lied and the tears I've been holding back finally came down. "P-Please... *sob* Juvia wants to end our relationship now. *sob* I can't take it anymore. *sob* Set me free."

"So this is it...?" He asked and lets go of the hug. He turned me around to him and I widened my eyes at the sight. His eyes were red from crying, his hair was a mess and there are a lot of tears from his eyes.

"Y-Yes... *sob*" I said. "Please don't make this hard *sob*... Juvia doesn't like--- No, love you anymore. *sob* And, Juvia's *sob* already seeing *sob* someone else."

"No..." He said. "Don't lie to yourself." He sobbed.

"Juvia's not lying to herself!" I shouted. "Why can't Gray-sama accept the fact that Juvia doesn't love him anymore?! Juvia already told you her reasons so please!" I avoided his gaze again and just looked on the floor. "J-Juvia... Hates you.. "

There was silence. It took 5 minutes for him to talk again.

He chuckled but Juvia could tell that it was a fake. "So this is really it, huh? You must've a big grudge against me. I'm sorry... Juvia... Thanks for everything then." He mumbled the last part.

He started walking away from me. My knees started getting weak and eventually, they gave up, sliding down to the floor. I cupped my face and started crying.

Gray-sama... I'm sorry... This is for our own good.

"Juvia." He called out.

I looked at him and saw the coldest stare that he never gave or showed me before. "Goodbye." He coldly said and walked away.

" *sob* *sob* "

Juvia didn't want this to end like this...

Goodbye, my love...

Goodbye, my happiness...

Goodbye, my everything...

Goodbye, Gray-sama... Thanks for everything too.

Lucy's POV

"What's going on with Juvia? That was really unexpected." Levy-chan asked us.

After Gray ran after Juvia, we started talking about those two, in a good way. "We don't know either." I said sadly.

Juvia... Is this why you were acting weird these past few months? Is this the reason?

"*sob* M-My..." Mira-sensei said then cupped her face. She started crying when Juvia left the classroom. It was all about her OTP. " *sob* G-Gruvia... M-My... S-Ship... *sob*"

Laxus hugged Mira-sensei. "Shh... Stop crying. It's Juvia's own choice. We can't do anything."

"T-That's right..." Erza said then sighed depressingly. "But, the Juvia I know wouldn't do that. She loves Gray with all her heart and she knows the feeling of breaking up."

"This isn't Juvia..." I mumbled. Something must've happened...

"Well, dang it. And Gray was really nervous and excited to do this proposal. He was happy about it. The thought of Juvia being his wife." Natsu said and sighed.

"As Laxus said," Jellal puts his hand on Erza's shoulder. "We can't do anything about it. It's her own choice. Maybe Gray did something to Juvia."

"Nah, Gray wouldn't do something bad to her." Gajeel disagreed. "Gray loves that girl so much."

"I-It doesn't have to end like this..." Lyon said. "Juvia would never say something like that. She loves Gray so much too that she even rejected me."

"Lyon." Meredy said and touched Lyon's shoulder.

And there was a moment of silence. We didn't want this to happen to those two. Maybe Juvia's misunderstood by something? Just like with Natsu and I a year ago.

"Guys---"

I was cut off when Gray suddenly entered the classroom. He looked really depressed and his hair was a mess.

"Gray!"

We quickly ran to him and bombarded him with a lot of questions. He didn't answer at least one of them. Instead, he was spacing out. Maybe from shock?

"Gray, she must've been misunderstood by something. Remember? Like the time with me and Nats---"

"No... She's not misunderstood by anything." He mumbled and suddenly, he laughs like an idiot. "This is it... It's really over with Juvia." His tears suddenly came running down from his eyes.

"Gray..." Natsu touched him by his shoulder.

"Please... Leave me alone for now." Gray said with his bangs covering his eyes. Then he left the classroom.

Juvia...

Gold's POV
At the Fullbuster's Residence

"Spit it out, old man. What did you tell Juvia?" Silver asked sternly. There he goes again, the cold type. And he's been asking me the sane question for the past few minutes.

I sighed. "I already told you: I didn't tell Juvia about anything."

He scoffed. "Yeah, right. Still not buying it. Spit it out."

"Shut it. I already told you many times that I---"

The door suddenly opened, revealing my grandson, Gray. He looked like he's seen a ghost meaning, she did her job. I smirked st the success.

"Welcome home, Gray! How's the proposal, son?!" Silver approached Gray and held him in his two shoulders.

Gray shrugged as his answer. "S-She..."

Silver's eyes widened. "She said no?"

Gray suddenly started crying. "D-Dad... O-Old man... *sob* She... She... Broke up with me... *sob* She said she's *sob* seeing another *sob* guy..."

"Oh no, Gray." Silver pats Gray's back.

I chuckled slightly, making their attention turn to me. "Well, it's her decision. We can't do anything about it."

Silver just glared at me while Gray stared at me with his emotionless face. "Anyway, Gray. You need to move on. How about studying at the States again? I'll be there to watch you. Or, haven't you changed your mind about it?"

"Dad, that's--" Silver was cut off by Gray raising his hand as a sign of stop.

Gray stared at me with his emotionless eyes. "I'll come." He sternly said.
