His eyes met mine and I felt the hair on my neck stand. He stood and greeted me with an unexpected hug and a wide smile on his face.

"Ah, June my kiddo, you look beautiful young girl."

"Ummm. Hey dad, thank you", was all I could manage to say.

(urrghh, I felt irritated by the fact that he called me kiddo. Who says kiddo to a 20 years old girl, but I pushed my irritation aside, he is my father afterall)

"Let me check some paperwork and I'll get back to you, be ready to see our new house", he smiled at me before leaving the sitting area.

As he was doing some last minute formalities with the receptionist, I was just standing next to the couch praying that I can just stay in this rehab center forever instead of going with him.

He saw me and something crossed his face but he covered it with a smile.

He gestured me towards the entrance to follow him.

While walking towards our car he plainly asked, "You don't seem happy june? Is there anything bothering you?"

A minute of silence passed. I knew deep down that I wasn't happy to go with him, but I lied.

"Nope, everything's good, I am finally out and in my normal life. I just miss mamma being with us".

Yes, that was true. I missed mamma.

I miss her voice, her smile, the way she used to call me "sugar hugs, princess, her angel, and all the sweet names in the world."

Recalling all my memories with her brought tears to my eyes but I held them back.

Few seconds passed but he didn't ask or say anything. Slowly he went and stood beside a black Lamborghini which I had noticed at first sight as she was so big and sleek that no one could ignore her.

I was awe struck by that car. He then opened the back door and gestured me to sit in.

I felt numb. "Is this for real?" I asked myself.

I realized that things have changed, my dad was in a crisp suit and then this Lamborghini.

A small hope was there that he had changed. That he is not my weird creepy father anymore who used to do black magic.

I hoped that he was a new man now.

"June, you good?", He waved his hand infront of my face making me return back to Earth.

"Yeah yeah, I was just mesmerized by this beautiful surprise", the line came out of my mouth from nowhere!

"God, no more adventures, I want a happy normal life please!" was all I could pray as we started our journey to my so called new home with my very good looking father and new everything.
