AHHH I'M KINDA SALTY BUT REALLY HAPPY

The time of year for the grade school music festival is this weekend. I'm signed up to help out the whole weekend, except the morning on Saturday. Kinda salty that I'm not able to compete, but hey, any experience with music is good for me.

We have two band performances in the next two weeks. I'm really nervous but also super psyched because we're playing such fun songs? If you have time, look up the song Midnight on Main Street by Brian Balmages. We're playing it for a state competition next Wednesday AND get to miss some school for it, not to mention I get my own part as 4th horn ^-^

(I'm a terrible hornist in comparison to everyone else in my section but I DO NOT CARE I AM FABULOUS XD I mean in reality I'm just okay, even a little advanced for my grade level and the condition of my instrument.)

If anyone here is looking forwards to Season 3 of Sword Art Online, I do have some news. If you haven't read Project Alicization yet, I HIGHLY recommend it. It's a hard read that's so far taken me three months to get from volume 9, where it starts, to volume 16, and it ends at volume 18. Still, it's SO WORTH IT, I have a new favorite SAO character, a new favorite ship, and have never cried more than when reading Alicization Volume 14. This Alicization project is gonna be the basis of SAO Season 3 and possibly Season 4 as well. I'll put a link in the comments to the first part. It's pretty confusing at first, I will admit, and I read around at least a tenth grade level, but SO WORTH IT.

I wanted to spend spring break writing but oh well I failed that XD 
Instead I spent most of the time working on a DIY project that's almost done. I'll put pictures up as soon as it is done and I might write a mini tutorial to go with it as well. 

So yeah, that's THE LIFE OF A KAT(tm) right now. I'm gonna be focusing a little less on writing for now since I'm really trying to go for the top and get a 4.0 this last quarter. I'll be happy as long as I'm on high honors again but a 4.0 would just make me and my parents so proud. Plus the work is really starting to pile up. At least I only have to take 4 exams. And one of the exam days I don't have anything to take so I get to stay home ^-^

I'm all signed up and raring to go for summer band as well. Oh boy that's gonna be fun. We're going to St. Louis this year. 

Ahhh, I'm rambling. Have this debatable argument to leave on.
