Oh marching band! How I love you but my feet hate you! some say that marching band is not a sport. Well read this, go to the comments and say that. I dare you! Marching band is not as easy as playing music and walking. No you have to make sure you:

1. Know where your next spot is without looking down so you don't ram a tuba.
2. THERE IS NO SITTING IN MARCHING BAND! So don't even try.

3. Try to memorize 7 sheets of paper!

4. You have to have square shoulders. Which means never turn your shoulders from the crowd.

5.The Trumpets never shut up so you can barely get any water breaks

6. You stand for 8 straight hours.

7. Sense I'm a Flute we have to have our instruments perfectly parallel from the ground if not the Band Director screams "FLUTES PARALLEL!" and you do not want that believe me.

8. YOU NEED TO BRING SUNSCREEN! Unless you want to die of sunburns. One kid got a sunburn so bad that it was purple and he got sun poisoning! Yeah that bad! That and you get what we call the Band Tan.

So yeah and the Band usually has more trophies than the rest of the school! So yeah read this and say Marching Band isn't a sport or isn't easy!
