I found out about this song through a movie trailer that appeared when I was at the theatre. I looked into it and I really enjoy the sound of the chorus and the through meaning of the song. It's looking back from where we came from and to reflect where we are right now, and I do that a lot on my life.

This song speaks to me less on the notes and music, but more so on a emotional and spiritual level. The song talks about how we put all of our life into Jesus Christ's hands and He's the reason for our existence. Although many people will not agree with my statement, I can relate to this a lot and give my Lord my all.

There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back -- Shawn Mendes

The feel of the song Shawn Mendes creates is something that anyone would enjoy, including me. The lyrics are very well done and the tempo is very fun to listen to. This year has been fast pace and the theme of the specific song can display many moments I've had so far.

Evermore -- Beauty and the Beast

Evermore sung by Dan Stevens shows the Beast's side of the story, showing what his true feelings are for Belle that the origanal movie doesn't portray. The song is full of emotion and the ballad is well sung and depicted very nicely. Sometimes a lot of things aren't as well said in high school and I know being quiet is one of the only things you can do in rough situations.

Say You Won't Let Go -- James Arthur

This song gives a painted picture of a man who falls in love and sings about how he wants to be with her for the rest of his life. The lyrics are very heartfelt and can make anyone think they'd want someone to love them like he describes in his song. I take that message and say when the right person comes for me, I'll know and I just have to be patient.

Dancing On My Own -- Calum Scott

This Britian's Got Talent contestant Calum Scott made an incredible remake of Robyn's song "Dancing On My Own". It has an amazing meaning and the piano just draws out even more feeling from the ballad. I can reflect that you can turn any good thing and make it your own.

Say Something -- A Great Big World, Christina Aguilara

This song brings forth a lot of passion about how two people lose love for one another and regret losing it. The piano and slow tempo give the song more emotion and the in depth meaning is well done. I for one haven't lost love, but a lot of friendships fall apart and sometimes you look back and wish you still had that friend around.
