The bus doors swung shut behind Samantha, as per usual. It had been a long day, so she was infinitely grateful to be crossing the street over into her neighbourhood. It was a nice day, and a few people were out. She waved, weary but her usual cheerful self.

Without even checking the lock--she was the first one home, she knew--she took out her key and slid it in. Her cat meowed from the kitchen, and Samantha could hear her knock something off the table. Just as she closed the door, her home phone started ringing. "What in the world..." she muttered, since hey, who was going to judge her? As per usual, she let the phone ring until her answering machine kicked in. The voice of her NEIGHBOUR across the street kicked in.

"Hi, Samantha? Samant-"

"Hi!" she said, picking up the phone. "How are you?"

"Oh, thank God," her neighbor said. "Are you okay?"

"Yes,fine. Why? Is something wrong?" she asked, squinting.

"Yes. Get out of the house right now." Her neighbor was getting more and more panicked.

"What's wrong? Seriously, please, tell me."

"You're not alone in that house. I saw a man walk in before you did. Get out now."
