So, I spend far too much time on this app, and I used to love it. But ever since the new message board system was introduced, it's been annoying. It takes ages to sort through my notifications to find the important stuff. It's a terrible change, and I hope they fix it. I know it was to stop traffic in emails or something, but I would rather have the message board things in my feed than in my notifications.

Moving onto less serious matters, congrats to everyone who made it onto the Watty's long list. Every one of the 784 people who's books made it there is incredibly talented to be noticed out of the 300k + entries. To all of my fellow Wattpaders who entered a book but didn't make it, yes it's disappointing, but all writer's have to face rejection. There's always next year, and next year we will have improved from the writers we are now. I'm upset I didn't make it, but I'm going to suck it up and continue writing and improving, as there's always next year to try.

I'm glad lots of undiscovered writers made it to the long list. I saw books with only a few hundred reads, and even some with less than 100 reads, so I suppose undiscovered authors do have a chance in the Watty's.
