I had my 1st day of school today, and it was pretty OK.

We sat in form class most of the day listening to the school rules, which was very boring. But after lunch we actually had class.

My timetable was so confusing. I'm less confused now, but every subject has a different class name and even if you have the same subject as someone, they could be in a different class.

I had maths, English and chemistry (Chemystery). I was originally a little upset that I wasn't in the same maths class as most of my friends, but 3 of them are there as well as a girl who I knew and sometimes talked to. I sit beside her and it's great :D

Remember way earlier in the book I mentioned a crush? Long story short I'm trying to get over him, but that's pretty hard when he's in my maths class. We'll see about the other subjects tomorrow.

English was fine, got our first book for literature - Of Mice and Men. Later we'll have to do Juno and the Paycock, Macbeth and 12 poems about conflict.

Chemystery - not a mystery yet because we didn't actually do any work, we just got files and our textbooks. I took a flick through - Chemystery is still a mystery, there's so many complicated diagrams.

As I was leaving Chemystery I tripped over a bucket left by the door. I was fine, but the teacher told me to 'stop wrecking the place' 😂

9/10, pretty solid first day back.
