Did you ever think about why graduation parties exist? It costs tons of money for food, decorations, invitations, renting a location...
Here's my idea.
Drum roll please...

People should use all the money that goes into their party for something different, like using it to pay for college, or to take a big and unforgettable trip before they leave home for a new life at college.

Now, I know what you're gonna say... People who come bring gifts for the grad. I know that, but it doesn't quite make up for the original expenses of the party. Plus, instead of one day of celebration, why not use the money for a week long vacation?

So, anyway, that's what I'm wondering.
