    When I first moved into my new apartment, one of the first things my neighbor on the right of my house told me was «This place gets dead silent at night.». Well, he was right in more ways than you might think of.

    The first night I spent in my new home was the night of the 29th of October, the night right before Halloween. That night I had the most uneasy sleep of my life. Throughout the night, I kept hearing voices, as if.. alright I’ll say it. As if there was a ghost in my house. Or a spirit in my head. I don’t know.

    But what I know for sure is that, after that, I was a little sceptical about this «normal» neighborhood.

    When the next day arrived, I was ready to leave the night events behind and move on with my day. But of course, the universe had other plans for me. As I stepped out of my door, I noticed a folded piece of paper, laying there. I picked it up, and a sudden feeling of discomfort pierced through my body. A shiver went down my spine when I touched the paper.

«I’d be careful with that. You never know what could be hiding in an envelope»

    I turned my head so fast, I heard a crack. There was a young man, around my age, staring at me from his porch. He lived in the house on my left ? I hadn’t seen him anywhere yesterday, and I had assumed that noone was living there. But clearly I was wrong.

«What did you say?» I asked him, but he was not there. He had disappeared. 
No, don’t be stupid. What ? Is he a ghost?

Το cliffhanger είναι αδιανόητο 💀😭!!

Είχα καιρό να ανεβάσω εδώ, κυρίως γιατί αποφάσισα να ασχοληθώ λόγο παραπάνω με την άλλη μου ιστορία στο προφίλ. Αλλά, να ένα ακόμα κεφάλαιο, στα αγγλικά αυτή τη φορά (βασικά στα άθλια αγγλικά που χρησιμοποιούσα πέρυσι). Δεν μπορώ να πιστέψω ότι έχω βελτιωθεί τόσο πολύ...

Τέλος πάντων, Halloween/Horror vibes από το σημερινό κεφάλαιο. Θα σας έλεγα πώς θα συνέχιζε η ιστορία, αλλά δεν θυμάμαι 😅. Το μόνο που είναι σίγουρο είναι ότι ο κυριουλης ο αφηγητής δεν θα περνούσε καθόλου καλά σε εκείνη τη γειτονιά...
