It starts with a letter. It always does. In every story. In every movie. He receives a letter of abandonment and rejection from his love. A letter of betrayal maybe. And it’s always him. He now feels worthless and unwanted. He desperately fights monsters, evil gods and himself, to prove to her that he’s worthy of her love. That he deserves it. That he truly loves her and wants to be with her. The end is just the beginning. The real end comes with the reunion of the two, who are now together and happy.

They forgive each other and everything is normal, as it was before. That’s how it’s done. That’s how it ends. In every movie.
   
But not in my movie. In my movie I am brave enough to finish things myself. In my movie I am writing the letter. In my movie I have nothing to prove to anyone. Especially you.

Here’s your letter of abandonment. But you should know, it’s not my fault. You caused it to happen. You’re the one who betrayed me. This is your punishment.

    You hurt me in the worst way possible. I don’t forgive you. I never will. I’m much happier without you. I don’t need you.

    This is the end. You’ll never see me again. You’ll never hurt me again. It’s the end.

    Goodbye. That’s how my movie ends. Goodbye.

Δεν μπορώ να σας περιγράψω τη χαρά που ένιωσα όταν βρήκα το συγκεκριμένο κείμενο. Το είχα γράψει αρκετά παλιότερα, και νόμιζα ότι το είχα διαγράψει, δηλαδή χάσει εντελώς. Turns out το είχα στείλει σε κάτι φίλους να το διαβάσουν οπότε έμεινε στην συνομιλία!

Είναι από τα αγαπημένα μου κείμενα που έχουν ανέβει μέχρι στιγμής. Δεν θυμάμαι τί ακριβώς σκεφτόμουν όταν το έγραφα,αλλά όταν το ξαναδιάβασα πριν το ανεβάσω που ήρθαν στο μυαλό σκηνές που θα μπορούσαν να υπάρχουν σε μια δραματική ταινία φαντασίας/ρομαντική. Νομίζω αυτού του είδους την αίσθηση βγάζουν οι λέξεις.
