Hello, my followers! Welcome to the second installment in my Random Reviews Book! In this segment, I will be doing something rather special. Specifically, I will be doing a review on the anime, Beyblade Metal Fusion. This will be Part 1 of 3 on the entire Beyblade Metal Saga. I will leave a link to the Beyblade Metal Fusion show right here so you guys can check it out: &list=PLhsGrSDxM45TTd-vU3qJhiYWzKvxs4zNw

Disclaimer: This review will not be a complete one. I will only be covering some parts of the Beyblade Metal Fusion anime. I don't want to spoil the whole story for you guys. It's better if you guys watch the show yourselves. It's a truly amazing experience and you won't regret seeing it. I HIGHLY recommend it. Anyway, enough of me rambling. Let's get into this review!

                                                                           START OF REVIEW:

Man, where do I even begin this review? The Beyblade Metal Saga played a huge part in my childhood. I watched a lot of anime and shows when I was growing up as a kid. However, I don't think any of them besides maybe Avatar: The Last Airbender had a similar impact on me as Beyblade did. I remember hearing about Beyblade back in 2012 when I was just 8 years old. My school classmates talked about Beyblade non-stop with each other. I always wondered, what was all the hype about? Eventually, I asked them where I could watch the Beyblade Metal Saga and they told me I could find it on Netflix. So, I went back home and started watching the first Beyblade series, Beyblade Metal Fusion. And well, I was IMMEDIATELY hooked by it. That is right! I ABSOLUTELY loved every single part! From the characters to the dialogue to the setting to the Bey fights to the plot this show was and still is HANDS down amazing! I still remember the Beyblade theme songs by heart and I can still jam out to the instrumental ending theme because it is just THAT good.

A lot of people will say that Beyblade in general can be summed up in that it is just people using spinning tops to fight each other and there is not much else to it. However, I respectfully have to disagree with that statement. Sure, the main focus is on the Beys but there is also the story and characters that a pretty big role too. Sure, the story and characters are not the deepest and most detailed that I have seen from some other anime and manga. But, this is a kids' show technically so I am not complaining about it.

I am also not saying it is a perfect anime by any means. Like any TV show or series, Beyblade Metal Fusion has its own flaws. However, I think these flaws can, to some extent, be overlooked. Why you may ask? Well, I firmly believe that the positives of the Beyblade Metal Fusion anime as well as the Beyblade Metal Saga outweigh the negatives by a significant margin. I recommend that when any of you guys start watching the Beyblade Metal Saga to keep an open mind. That is what I did when I first watched it all those years ago. Give the show some time to grow on you, and watch the first 12-13 episodes. Trust me, you all will not regret the experience.

When it comes to the story of the Beyblade Metal Fusion series, here is a brief summary of it without giving away too many spoilers. Like, I said earlier, it is better if you guys experience the show for yourselves, it is a blast to watch.

Beyblade Metal Fusion's story revolves around Gingka Hagane, a wandering blader with a troubled past who is always looking for adventure. Gingka arrives in a city where he eventually runs into Kenta Yumiya, a kid who is being targetted by a Beyblade gang known as the Facehunters, who steal bladers' Bey points forcefully. Gingka rescues Kenta from the Facehunters and the two quickly become friends. From that moment on, Gingka's life course changes drastically as he becomes inextricably linked to Kenta and his friends. Gingka would go on to face many rivals before being confronted by his past as well as a greater threat in the form of Dark Nebula, an evil organization that wants to abuse Beyblades' hidden powers. The Dark Nebula is led by Doji, a cunning and cruel businessman who will stop at nothing to achieve his sinister goals. Doji also has an AI named Merci who he relies upon to maintain the Dark Nebula organization. Doji also employs his enforcer and right-hand man, Ryuga, a power-hungry blader and Gingka's nemesis from his past, to maintain order at the Dark Nebula as well as recruit new members for the organization. As the story reaches its climax, Gingka and his friends face off against the Dark Nebula organization and its members. Gingka confronts his past and Ryuga at the same time and has to do something that he never considered he ever do in order to stop his nemesis when he realizes that Ryuga is not in control of his Beyblade, Lightning L-Drago, the "forbidden" bey with dark magical powers, anymore.

That's the gist of Beyblade Metal Fusion's story. I hope that I didn't spoil too much for you guys. Once again, I HIGHLY recommend that you all check out this series when you have the time for it. The link to the Beyblade Metal Fusion show is at the top for you guys to enjoy.

Final Rating: I give the Beyblade Metal Fusion series a 9 out of 10! The Beyblade Metal Saga is so awesome that I am now rewatching it for the third time!
