I realized I haven't even gone over the types of asexuals whichwouldvebeenreallyhelpfulatthestartofthisweekbutokitstoolatenowsoripmethen

So here it is, the types of asexuals 💜❤

Asexual can be considered an umbrella term since it can accommodate people of varying sexual attraction (or really, lack there of).

Asexual:Someone who has a lack of sexual attraction

A few types of aces fall under this term

Demisexual:Someone who experiences no sexual attraction until an emotional bond has been established

Gray-sexual:Someone who rarely experiences sexual attraction, whether it be certain circumstances or randomly

Apothisexual:Someone who is sex-repulsed

Lithosexual:Someone who experiences sexual attraction towards others but doesn't want it reciprocated

Of course, there are more aces that fall under this label, and these are just a few I mentioned.

Keep in mind that just because someone identifies as asexual, that doesn't automatically make them aromantic. For example, I identify as asexual, but I'm heteroromantic (attracted to the opposite sex romantically).

An individual who identifies as asexual can be biromantic, panromantic, polyromantic, homoromantic, etc.

In turn, an individual who identifies as aromantic (someone who has a lack of romantic attraction) isn't automatically asexual. They can still have sexual feelings (e.x. bisexual, pansexual, polysexual, homosexual, etc.).
