Hey, readers.

Here's my another take of the ending of the Rise of Skywalker but there's several changes of this part:

- Rey heading to Exegol using X-Wing Fighter w/ R2-D2.
- Ben Solo meets Han Solo's ghost and you know what happens. The ghost of Anakin Skywalker appears and told him about his pain, suffering and misery life before and during the time as Darth Vader before redeeming the Light by his son, Luke.
- Ben finally redeems back to the Light Side and also heading to Exegol where he flies using TIE Fighter.
- Lando Calirisian lives and flies the Millenium Falcon with Chewbacca.
- Character Death. You have been warned!

That's all. Let's begin the end of the Skywalker saga.

~Exegol - Throne~

After bested the Knights of Ren & Praetorian Knights(men in red armored suits), Rey & Ben stare each other before they united to fight against the common enemy: Emperor Palpatine aka Darth Sidious.

Sidious roared in anger as he unleashes his strong Force Lightning towards them while the duo dodges and attempted to end Sidious. But despite their attempts, both of them were fallen on the icy ground with their lightsabers as the Sith Lord laughs.

Sidious: *mocking tone* You think you can defeat me? Do you?

Rey stands up and raises Leia's lightsaber to her defensive stance while Ben struggling to stand due of his pain.
Rey: I'm going to stop you!
Sidious: You cannot defeat me, my granddaughter!
Rey: No. I am a Jedi.
Sidious: So be it!

Sidious fires with a more powerful Force Lightning to Rey as she defends & hold it with her lightsaber. Rey grits her teeth as she uses all of her strength to hold it off from Sidious. Ben gets up on his one knee and uses the Force to call back Anakin's lightsaber to his hand.

Sidious sinisterly laughs as he so close to kill Rey. Rey is run out of her strength as she threw away, along with Leia's lightsaber.

Rey fell on the icy ground a few half a meters away from the Sith Lord unconcious as Anakin's lightsaber floats itself before it calling back to Ben's hand.

Ben: Rey!!
Sidious: Foolish child, you should have been become a new Vader. And now, I will destroy the last Skywalker!

Sidious fires a more powerful Force Lightning to Ben but the redeemed Jedi ignites the blue blade to shield the attack. Ben managed to hold back the attack, despite his injury.

Sidious: *sinister laugh* Power! Unlimited Power!

Ben grits his teeth as the Force Lightning getting stronger as he cannot hold back his strength.

All seems lost until...

???: The Force is always with you, young Skywalked. We always be with you, we are.

Ben recognize the voice and turns around behind him. There, the ghosts of the Jedi appears: Yoda, Qui Gon Jinn, Obi Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, Ahsoka Tano & the Jedi Council masters. Anakin Skywalker, Luke Skywalker & Ben's mother Leia were also appears.

Ben: Mom...
Leia: *smiles* We are always here, Ben. Always...

Ben smiles and nods as the Force ghosts of the Jedi gives their Force powers to Ben as he began to walk with the lightsaber ignites with lightning & Force powers.

Sidious: Impossible! This is not over!

Ben continue to walk to shield the attack until Sidious runs out of his Force Lightning, looked horrified as he saw a determined Ben, raises the lightsaber above[1].

Sidious: *shocked tone* What are you?
Ben: I..am...a...Jedi.

Sidious roar his anger and fires the Force Lightning but it's too late as Ben uses the Force speed and finally SLASH the Sith Lord with the lightsaber.

Sidious: NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Sidious screams as violent lightning and shakes occur, followed by a blind white explosion.

~A Minute Later~

Everywhere in the Throne Room of Exegol were devastated as debris are everywhere. Rey wakes up and saw the unconcious Ben on the icy ground. The Sith Lord's body were no more. It was over.

Rey: *worry tone* Ben...

Rey went to Ben and tried to wake him up but she found out that he is dead. He is the one who stop Sidious all along.

Rey: *sobs* No. No, Ben. Please don't leave me. Be with me.

With no other options, Rey decide to use Force Healing to Ben's body to ressurect him. It  was risky move as after she uses it, she fainted on the floor.

Few seconds later, Ben woke up and saw the devastating place. He remembered everything. He finally defeated Palpatine with the help of his grandfather, Uncle Luke, his mother Leia and other people who believed to be Jedi Masters before them.

Then, he saw a fainted body of Rey and he try to wake up.

Ben: Rey, wake up. Wake up.
Rey: *slowly open her eyes* You did it. You did it.
Ben: *smiles* I did. It's over. It's finally over!
Rey: *weakly smile* I know.

Ben senses something was wrong to her until he found out her Force is began to fade.

Ben: *look shock* Rey? What did you do?
Rey: *weak tone* You died, Ben. I found your body. I decide to use all of my Force to bring you back. It was risky but I have no choice.
Ben: *his tears began to fall* No. No. No. Please don't die.
Rey: *slowy raise her right hand to Ben's left cheek to comfort and smiles* It's okay, Ben. You saved the galaxy and stop the war. I'm glad that you finally came back.
Ben: Rey....I won't leave you.

Rey wipes Ben's tears and gives a final words to him.

Rey: Remember, Ben....I love you and I always will[2].

Rey closes her eyes as her hand drops on the floor. Rey, the scavenger who became the Jedi and the woman who brought hope to the galaxy....has died. She died not only for her friends and the galaxy but she died for Ben so the Skywalker legacy will continue.

Ben: Rey....*cries*

Ben cries as he cradled the lifeless body of the woman he loved.

~Meanwhile with the Resistance~

The Resistance were finally celebrating after the defeat of the Final Order. Chewie and Maz Kanata finally became a couple as Lando saw them and smiles. But Finn look at the skies, believe that Rey defeats the Emperor and returns to him & others to celebrate.

Poe, Rose, Kaydel & Zori went to him to cheer-up when Lando walks to them.

Finn: Lando, what is it?
Lando: One of the officers came to me and said that an X-Wing Fighter appears exiting to Exegol earlier.
Finn: *smiles* That must be Rey! She's coming here!

Poe & others looked excited but Lando cut the celebration.

Lando: I'm not done yet. The X-Wing Fighter uses the lightspeed and disappears.
Finn & others: What???

The Resistance who were celebrating, heard the words and cut-off the music. Chewie and Maz walks towards Lando.

Lando: Moments ago, I've received a message from the Millennium Falcon earlier. It's from Artoo(R2-D2) in the X-Wing Fighter. Here.

Lando switch on a small holo-imager to show them a message. On there, it reveals to be the face of Ben Solo.

Poe: *shock & anger* That's Kylo Ren!
Maz: I don't think that's Kylo Ren anymore.
Chewie: *roars*
Lando: You're right, Chewie. It's Ben Solo.

Finn was disbelief. Where is Rey?

Ben: If the Resistance received my message, I have a news for you. The Emperor is dead. He was defeated....by Rey.

The Resistance received a lot of shock & surprise. Even Finn, Poe & others did the same.
But in reality, Ben said this because he thinks the Resistance still considered him as a "threat" so he decide to tell the Resistance that Rey defeated the Emperor.

Ben: But at great cost, she sacrificed herself to save not only me but to her friends and the Resistance.

Silence was heard before some of them began to cry or sobs. Finn let out his tears on his face while Rose comfort him.

Finn: So that's the reason Rey never came back.
Rose: *sad smile* But at least, she did this for us.

Ben: If any of you wants to hunt me down, please don't. I want to live peace & harmony. To Finn & her friends, she would be proud of you.

Finn wipes his tears and noddingly smiled.
Finn: She is.

Ben: To Lando, take care of Chewie and the Falcon. Han owed you a lot.

Lando: *smiles* I will, kid.
Chewie: *roars happily*

Ben: And to the Resistance, Rey may be gone but there's still hope to bring peace to the galaxy. Thank you and may the Force be with you all....Always.

The message ends as the holo image of Ben vanishes, leaving the thoughts of everyone about this. Lando on the other hand, looks at the skies and smiles how proud of his nephew.

Lando: *whisper tone* He is indeed a Skywalker.
Chewie roars nodded.

~Endor~

In the forest somewhere of Endor, Ben holds a small torch and lits up the pyre in flames.

On the pyre reveals to be a lifeless Rey still on the same clothes but her hood was covered as flames spreading around her body, giving a proper funeral pyre. Ben looks respectly as single tear fell on his face[3].

~3 Days Later in Tattoine~

An old woman was crossing, holding with an alien-like animal tied on the rope when she saw an X-Wing Fighter landed near to an old Lars homestead. She saw Ben(still in black clothes but has brown cloak & hood covered him) standing there, watching the twin suns set. On his hand was now repaired Anakin's lightsaber as he hides it behind on the cloak.

~Cue: The Force Theme~

As he heads towards the X-Wing Fighter to get off this sand(Like grandfather, like grandson. XD), the old woman walks to him and asked.

Old Woman: Excuse me.
Ben: *turns around* Yes?
Old Woman: Who are you?
Ben: I'm Ben.
Old Woman: Ben who?

Ben saw the ghosts of Luke, Leia, Anakin and a beautiful woman who turns out to be his grandmother Padmé, appears  and give him a smiles to say.

Ben: *smiles* Ben Skywalker.

Artoo beeps happily beside him as the old woman also smiles as she walks away.

Ben look up to the beautiful twin suns to set and smiles as the twin suns look at him & Artoo while the X-Wing Fighter behind them.

The legacy of Skywalker lives on...

AND DONE! I read one Youtube comment regarding about the ending of TROS that Ben should be the one to defeat Palpatine but Rey dies.

The Tattoine ending scene will be different with Ben kept his grandfather's lightsaber instead of burying it like Rey did in the movie. 'Coz you know, Anakin still HATES sand in the afterlife. XD

1 - The scene where Ben lifts the blue lightsaber above before he slayed Palpatine was a reference to the 1977 original theatrical poster of Luke Skywalker lifts the lightsaber above.

2 - Rey's final words to Ben was from "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" Season 5 episode called "Lawless" where Duchess Satine Kryze said her final words to Obi Wan Kenobi before she died after she was executed by Obi Wan's nemesis, Darth Maul. Ben's grief over the lifeless Rey as he cradled also a reference to Obi Wan's grief as he cradled Satine's lifeless body.

3 - The funeral pyre of Rey in Endor is a great reference to Darth Vader's funeral pyre also in Endor towards the end of ROTJ.
