Go Through?
>Yes<   No

I nod a bit and walk through, Kichi following behind me. It gets dark and I slow down, not being able to tell where I'm walking scared me quite a bit.

"Geez, your so slow princey!" Kichi said pushing me from behind.

"Well I'm sorry! I just can't see" I said turning my head but wasn't able to give Kichi the glare he deserved, I doubt he could see any more than I could.

"Awe, is pwincey scared?~" Kichi teased

"What?! No I-" I tried to say but I was interrupted.

"Don't worry! I'll protect you!" Kichi said wrapping his arms around me.

I huffed and walked a bit faster, earning a giggle from Kichi. After walking in the dark for awhile Kichi let go of me and I finally saw some light.

"Hey Kichi, is that where we're going?" I ask. No response. "Kichi?" Still nothing.

I start to worry, did something happen? Is he hurt? Did I leave him behind? How would I know where to walk if I can barely see? Is- I feel a hand grab my arm. My panic level only increased.

"Nishishi, am I that scary?" Kichi. I relax hearing his voice.

"Awe, is my voice that comforting for you~" Kichi teased.

I roll my eyes with a huff making Kichi giggle again. "Anyways, that's where we're going, so c'mon!" he says as he pulls me closer to the light, never letting go of my wrist. At first I was blinded by the sudden light. After letting my eyes adjust I was greeted by a beautiful sight.

There was a stone path, blue flowers lined the walkway. The petals of the flowers were facing outwards with a tint of periwinkle at the ends. The stem was twirled turquoise-to-green and seemed to go entirely through the flower. It had a yellow bead on the end through the flowers. When we walked near the first one they all closed into a bud, lighting up like a wave. Each of the buds being a different color, yet all of the colors mixing beautifully.

The pathway was leading up to a hill. On top of the hill there was a tree with white bark, illuminated with a faint baby blue. The soft-looking leaves were almost the same, although they were baby blue illuminated with white. Hanging from the tree fruit-looking things, but I couldn't see the details from where we were stading.

The pathway broke off and went other ways, each with different flowers, sadly I couldn't see what they lead to. The grass surrounding us looked soft, so very soft, and it all moved due to the faint breeze. There were some other trees around, each unique to themselves. Some rocks scattered around had crystals showing. All kinds of creatures roamed the terrain, most of which I have never seen before. I looked up at the starry sky, every star was shining brighter than I have ever seen before, magnificent creatures flew through the sky, glistening in the light.

I stood there in awe, Kichi walked next to me with a smile, illuminated in the light. "Like it?" Kichi asked. His voice was soft, there wasn't the usual undertones of mischief or playfulness.

I nodded slowly taking in the beauty of the place "It's so, beautiful," I said before looking down at Kichi. We locked eyes for a few seconds, it wasn't awkward or anything, but he looked away and at the scenery.

"It really is..." he said with a smile, but not a normal smile, a pained smile. A smile for something that you could never get back. But I'm probably overthinking.

Kichi looked back at me and started to walk forward "C'mon princey, there's still more!" He started to run and I tried to keep up. He seemed to enjoy me struggling and would laugh whenever I would almost fall. "Wow princey you're so clumsy~" he laughed before running faster.

"I just don't need to r-run often," I say catching myself from a fall. Kichi started to slow down as we neared the hill.

"Man, your life must have been boring." He said as we went up the hill.

"I-I wouldn't say boring!" I said trying to think of how to explain it.

"Really? Then how was it?" He asked turning his head to face me, placing his hands on his hips.

"W-well it wasn't as eventful, which I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not. I didn't have to run for my life a whole lot. I guess I was just content with my life at the time, before my dad passed." I says looking more towards the ground.

There was a short pause. "Well that sure sounds boring to me." Kichi said with a shrug.

"I-I guess," that's usually not the reaction people have when I mention my dad. But honestly I wasn't really upset about it. People always bombard me when I bring up my dad. I get why, I miss him a lot but I don't want people treating me any different because of that. It's nice that so many people are lending their support but I can't help but think it makes things awkward.

"Sorry about you're dad." I heard Kichi say, it was a lot quieter. It seems like he felt bad about brushing off the story. I put my hand on his shoulder to show him it was okay. He gives me a smile before looking back up at the tree on the hill, now in front of us. "Oh here we are!"

There were stars all over the top of the hill, some blue and some white. The stars were like flowers in the grass, a slight warmth was smiting from them, it was so pleasant. Now that we're closer I could see the fruit better, it didn't seem to glow like the rest of the tree. It was sliver-grey in color with a pattern of the inside of a dragonfruit. It's form was in bunches, like grapes except larger than a typical grape. It was shaped like a strawberry. It had two spikes getting thinner to the tip, it stuck out of the sides and it curved in towards the center to form some kind of heart shape.

Suddenly a small creature emerged from the fruit. The creature was small, couldn't be taller than four inches, it had an antenna with a clear-ish green diamond on top, different from the light dull blue skin it had. It had eight red eyes and it's mouth seemed to form straight across into dull fangs on each side. It's arms were bended forward like a dog on it's hind legs, and the feet were just dangling. It had another diamond in its stomach, except it seemed to store something inside. It had a tail that turned into a saw like state on the inter end, the sharp parts being more white then the rest of it. It did have wings that I didn't notice at first, due to how fast they were moving, but they seemed to be clear in color.

"Hey Kichi, What is that?" I ask pointing to the creature as it flys close to me.

"Oh that? Just a Zue." Kichi said looking over "Have you never seen one?" He asked tilting his head. I shake my head as I watch the creature. It flys around me before touching my nose with the tip of its tail, without the saw luckily, and flying off.  I smile to myself as Kichi brings me to the other side of the tree and sits down, pulling me down next to him.

From this view I can fully see the moon, which takes up a good portion of the sky. Down below there's a sparkling lake surrounded by more of the trees like the one we entered through. There were larger creatures around there than the ones currently around us. A small 'whoa' escapes my lips.

"Wow, you're impressed easily huh?" Kichi joked with a chuckle, laying down on my shoulder.

I nod. "Going to sleep again?" I ask looking down at him.

"It's not my fault your so comfy," he mutters.

"Or maybe you just need to get more sleep." I say with a small chuckle, tapping his nose. That seemed to surprise him.

He mutters something in response, probably a 'yeah ok' or 'yeah whatever'.

I smile and look up at the sky and doze off myself.

I wake up to Kichi's voice but I don't quite open my eyes.

"If only..." I hear him say.

There was a short pause. I debated getting up and talking but he began to speak again.

"You're so pretty princey," I hear him say as he moves some of my hair behind my ear. "did you know that?"

...

>Open your eyes<

>"Wake up"<

>Pretend to sleep<

A/N: If anyone was wondering the Zue is actually my own creature I made up.
