Background information!! Both Scott and Jimmy are around 17 at the time! This is (obviously) an AU and not cannon to my main AU! Right I'll stop jabbering and i'll actually get on with the story,

Our tale is set in Rivendell,
Our blue haired Scottish lad doing his daily doings like usual when he comes into contact with an odd codish boy.

Scott's Perspective

I was sat in my room doing my research since Mother and Father were arguing over, guess who? Me. Again.

I sucked up the tears and picked up my pen - my fingers were covered in plasters from how many blisters and paper cuts I had gotten along the long periods of writing. I lit a candle and let out a deep sigh; the rain pouring it down outside. For a while that's all I could hear, the raindrops landing onto the cobble floor and the faint hoots of owls.

And then.. I heard it. I heard him.

"OW!",I heard the muffled voice of a boy from outside yelp as a crash followed along shortly after. I stopped and quickly looked out my window. Father always told me to not be nosy but I couldn't help it, I mean- it could be an intruder! I looked down to see a boy with Honey blonde hair and fish-like features lying in a pile of barrels. He groaned and staggered up,dusting himself off. I shrieked and ducked down as he looked right at me.

"Oh crap- HEY! HEY YOU!",I heard him yell, presumably to me. I hesitantly peaked my head from behind the silk curtains.
"M-Me?",I questioned.
"Yeah you! Two questions okay: one. Are you gonna tell on me to anyone that I'm here? And two. Do you have a jacket, i'm cold-",He asked me.

"Uhh right to answer both those questions- no I'm not gonna tell, I can't either way no one's gonna listen to some kid and yes I do actually! Three.",I smiled slightly. He went to speak but i continued,"But if I'm gonna give you it, you need to tell me your name first!",I stood straight and put my hands on my hips in an attempt to be 'adult'.

The boy with honey coloured hair tilted his head,
"Really? Well okay then, only if you tell me yours after!",He said in which I nodded in response. He cleared his throat,"I... am the all mighty Jimmy LDshadow solidarity!",Jimmy stood in a heroic pose making me giggle,"And who are you!",He asked.
"I am Prince Scott Major of this here castle.",I smiled in which he froze.
"Y- YOUR PRINCE MAJOR?",He looked almost distressed from that,"I-IM SO SO SORRY FOR DISTURBING YOU- U-UH- HAVE A-A NICE NIGHT! PLEASE DON'T BEHEAD ME!",He pleaded sounding as if he was about to burst out into tears.
"What-? No! That's my parents thing!",I leaned on the window ceil. The scrawny boy let out a gasp of relief as he presumably wiped his tears.
"THANK GOD-! Wait. OH MY GOD IM TALKING TO A PRINCE!! OH MY LORD OH MY LORD OH MY LORD!!!",He fanboyed making me blush in embarrassment. He paused and cleared his throat,"S-Sorry sorry- I'm just so excited to meet you. You seem quite 'cool' from all the things I've seen.",He winked in which I couldnt help but laugh at his ridiculous pun. Jimmy giggled and looked around,
"Well its getting late..I best be off! See you prince!",He smiled at me warmly before disappearing into the darkness as fast as he arrived. I was about to walk away when I heard him yell,"DANG IT I FORGOT MY COAT",He ran back. I laughed and got one of my old coats,throwing it at him. He caught it and laughed,"THANK YOU PRINCE MAJOR! I PROMISE TO COME AGAIN TOMORROW NIGHT!",He waved before running off.

I sighed dreamily before sitting back down. I must admit he is a quite odd and- dare I say it,charming too! Quite dashing as well! I continued writing - barely being able to keep focus since my new friend was all I could think of right now. I kept smiling and giggling to myself as I read through my notes.

I can't belive it, I actually made a friend!
