Chapter 1
" Good evening, What can I get for you?" Rosalie asked with a smile gracing her pink lips. She had her right handed rested against one of the large shinny silver bar taps while her left was sitting comfortably in her black waist apron.
" A pint of black stout please." The customer said as she nodded and bent down to reach for a tankard glass before standing up and pulling through the black stout into the glass.
" Anything else?" She asked in her sweet voice to the man who was looking down at his phone. He blanked her to concentrate on the small device in his hand. He was a young man around the age of twenty five maybe.
" Sir, is there anything else I can get you?" Rosalie called again to grabbed the young mans attention.
" Er, no thanks. My friend will be here soon enough. He can order for himself." The young man spoke. It was then that she realised his well spoken accent and dress. He was dress in a light blue collared shirt with black formal trousers held up by a black shinny belt. His black suite jacket was slung over his arm that held his phone. His blond hair pulled sleekly back that connected to a cleanly shaven, sharp jawline. His blue eyes focused again on his phone.
He never looked up from it as he stuck out his hand that held the money towards Rosalie. She smiled and took the money and cashing it through the till before handing him his change. He took it alone with his pint and walked away without even a thank you. Rosalie sighed and went back to wiping down the bar top to keep it from turning sticky. Just as she finished the door opened again anf Rosalie lifted her head to look up go the guest.
"Hello Sir. How are you today... " she trailed off when she caught sight of the handsome man who had just walked into the bar. He was tall, almost a clean head taller than her. His broad shoulder dipped with each step he took towards the bar. He looked over and nodded to the man Rosalie had just served before turning to face her. When his sharp, hard blue eyes landed on her own tired brown ones, her heart seemed to freeze and her breath caught in her throat and her stomach seemed to fall.
He was devilishly handsome with jet black hair jelled back, his strong jawline was coated with two days worth of stubble. He wore a white collared shirt with black suite trousers. Over his collared shirt, which had its first two buttons undone, over his black suite jacket fitted to his broad figure. A side smirk graced his lips as he walked over to Rosalie at the bar, his shoes clicking against the wooden floor as he walked.
" I'm and very well, thank you. Yourself?" He asked Rosalie who nodded and forced a smile upon her pink lips.
" well thank you. Now, what can I get for you?" Rosalie spoke softly as she rubbed her hands together in front of her, a nervous tick of her own.
" Whatever that man is drinking." He said pointing to the rude guy who sat at a table still on his phone. Rosalie nodded and began to pour his drinking into a tankard glass.
" I hope he was not too rude. He tends to have his nose stuck in that contraption all the time." He spoke with a well tuned accent behind his words. Rosalie gave a soft giggle as she looked up to the handsome man. She swore she saw his blue eyes darken every so slightly at her giggle.
" It's fine, really." She spoke as she lifted the full glass and placed it onto the bar top as the man handed her money.
" My name is Greyson by the way." He said as he watched her ring through the order on the till before cashing it off and handing him his change.
" Rosalie." She smiled as she handed over his change, " Grayson is a very unusual name."
"Rosalie is a beautiful name, fitting for you." He spoke with his side smirk still playing on his lips. Rosalie's cheeks heated up to his words as she gave a small smile while her head was down slightly.
" Thank you." She muttered before Greyson lifted his pint and turned to walk away. Rosaline let out a soft sigh before turning away and walking to the other end of the bar, busying herself with little tasks like cleaning the work top and bottles, washing glasses and putting them away.
Grey sat with his brother at the small rounded table in old but comfortable chairs as his eyes never once left Rosalie as she worked away, keeping herself busy with the smallest of jobs. She would hum away as she worked with concentration written all over her delicate features.
"Brother, what is it about that girl that has you so infatuated with her? Your eyes have not left that human since you walked through that door." The blond haired man spoke to Greyson.
" Edward, you know when you met Clarissa. You instantly knew she was your Charming." He spoke not taking his eyes of the female human.
" You cannot be serious here, brother. She is a human, and a commoner at that! Father will never approve of her." Edward said with a shake of his head.
"She is my Charming, therefor father does not have a choice in the matter." Greyson spoke with a deep sounding growl edged into his quick words.
" If you took her back and introduced her to father and the court they will tear her to shreds and you know it." Edward spoke as moved back to sit comfortable slouched on the seat. "If she truly is your charmed one then you will do what is best for her and keep away. She does not need to be involved in this world of ours."
" You, of all people, should know that I cannot do such a thing." Greyson said turning to look at his younger brother. " That now that I have found her, I cannot let her go. Just as you are with Clarissa."
" I gave her her space."
" With a tracking device that you can track from your phone." Greyson spoke quickly as Edward looked to him with surprise.
"Do not look so surprised brother. I know all you little tricks. You say you give her her space but in truth you every single move she makes and where ever she is." Greyson spoke taking a sip of his almost empty glass. "You better be careful. She could find out and I do not want to be there for the outcome of it."
" You don't understand. I hate not knowing where she is, if she is in trouble or worse!" Edward spoke with his head now in his hands.
" I do understand. Well at least,"Greyson said as his eyes lifted to look at Rosalie while she concentrated on something on the till. "Now I do."
