The two month after went by in a flash, and I won't hesitate to admit that they have been the best two months of these past years. Noah and I were officially dating, and so far we had suffered no issues with each other.

He makes me laugh like no other, making me smile like no other, and I've never been so spoiled before. Seriously, sometimes I have to stop them from using up so much money on me. It's nice to have someone care enough to give me things for a change, but sometimes I feel a little guilty.

Still, it's adorable, he's adorable..! Noah has really changed my life..

And I wanted to do something to pay him back for all of it.

The day was December 31st, and besides it being New Year's Eve, it was also the day before Noah's birthday, and his parents had called for me to help with a surprise party.

Sage and I helped Iris with the food while Bill decorated around the place, and Will was in charged of keeping Noah distracted. Apparently there was a space conversation at the town's museum, and Noah was asked to take Will, so we had a good chunk of time to prepare.

Around eight pm, the time had finally come, and I was setting up the table with all the snacks and baked good, when two arms suddenly wrapped around my waist, making me jump as a reaction.

Noah's voice was then heard. "I didn't expect to see you at my house when I'm not here."

I let out a chuckle, turning around to face him. "I couldn't miss your birthday, could I?"

"My birthday's tomorrow."

"Early celebration."

"Aw, how nice of you."

We both laughed a bit before he leaned in and kissed my lips. I smiled at the action, cupping their face as their hands remained on my hips.

"Ew." We both pulled away at the voice, seeing Will standing not too far away from us with a disgusted look. "You guys are gross."

"It's called love, pipsqueak, you'll get it when you're older." Noah replied with a huff.

Will simply rolled his eyes. "Highly doubt that."

"You're back!" We then saw Bill walking down the main steps with a bright smile, Iris shortly behind him. Wrapping an arm around his son, he ruffled up their hair. "Happy Birthday, my little Emerald!"

"Dad, I'm turning seventeen!"

"Your point?"

Noah let out a huff, his face soon being cupped but his mom, who placed a kiss on their forehead. "Happy early birthday, Noé."

"Happy Birthday, idiot!!!" Sage yelled from the kitchen, making Noah roll his eyes once more, though with a smile on his face.

They then turned to the table of food that was behind me, smelling the air. "That smells good!"

"Aiden made most of it, he wanted everything to be perfect." Iris mentioned with a giggle.

Feeling my face heat up in embarrassment, I shrunk in place. "I-I didn't do all, I just helped here in there, y-you know..?"

Cupping my face, Noah placed a kiss over my nose, making my fave heat up in even more. His smile was kind as he stared down at me, his green eyes sparkling from the light. "Thank you, Aiden.."

Feeling my heart skip a bit, my smile became a sheepish one. "Just hope you have a good birthday.."

Will then appeared beside me. "Can I eat these now?"

"Ey, these are my pastries, get your own."

"Noah, there's plenty for all of us." He huffed at my statement, making me giggle a little. They really were like a child sometimes, but it was just so adorable..!

The rest of the night was really nice. We all talked a lot, ate all the food, danced for a little while, it was a lot of fun!

I had asked my sisters to join, but they decided to stay home. If they had actually joined, then.. it would've felt as if I was with my parents again..!

It was now two in the morning, and I was feeling pretty drowsy from all the excitement and dancing. Noah noticed pretty quickly, walking over to me. "You doing okay?"

"Yeah, just a little tired.. I should be heading home.."

"At this hour..? It wouldn't be safe for you to go, even if I took you by car.."

"What do I do then..?"

"You could stay here for the night, if it's okay with you.."

My cheeks heated up at that. "Sleep.. here..? W-With you..? On the same bed..?!"

"W-well, I meant I could get you a guest room.."

"...... oh. Right. Of course." Kill me. Kill me now.

They then cupped my chin, tilting my head up a little. "Well, you could stay in my room if you want, it's your choice.."

"... I-I think I'd be more comfortable being with you.."

"Mm.." To my surprised, he picked me up in my arms bridal style, making my face heat up so much more as I held onto his shoulders for dear life, seeing him smile at me. "Then let's go.."

Once in his room, he placed me on the bed before sitting beside me, lying down with a heavy sigh.

There was silence for a little while, until I looked down at him. "So.. did you enjoy your party..?"

"Yeah, especially with you around.." They gave a warm smile. "Thanks for coming to the party, even though it was probably awkward being with just my family.."

"I like your family, they bring me back good memories.. And I had fun as long as you did.."

My cheeks were still hot as I stared down at him, at his face.

At his messy burgundy hair..

At his bright emerald green eyes..

At his... his lips...

I want... to thank him, b-but...

Nibbling my own lip in nervously, I leaned down and kissed his lips. They cupped my cheek at the action, and when I pulled back a little, they let out a chuckle. "Heh, what was that for..?"

"Noah, I- ... I-I want- I mean- ..."

I think he caught on to what I was trying to say, because he kissed my lips once more, neither of us pulling away. His arms were around my waist while I sat on his lap; I gripped his hair, not wanting to let go.

A small shudder went up my spine as I felt their hands go under my shirt, and they then mumbled against my lips. "What do you wanna do..?"

"... everything.."

"I see.." Pinning me down against the bed, he placed a kiss on my cheek. "I can make that happen.."
