God’s infinite grace and power is ultimately unfathomable to us, our brains and senses being too small to comprehend its full power. Yet, one of best ways we may gain an insight into this is obviously through Scripture. In studying these, one may draw upon the vast accumulation of thousands of years of history, thought and worship. Scripture is our inheritance, our communal link along a lineage of salvation, brought to life often by the best of our Ministers and in their sermons. But also what of one’s immediate family? Here too, our ears and eyes should be open, for more recent links from those more advanced in years and spiritual development serve as both an inspiration and perhaps even a practical guide in the context of our modern lives.
