Backstory: Lily was once a human, but one day, Lunala called her to the Pokémon world. Aura found her, and they soon became friends, then partners. After defeating Hoopa, however, she was sent back to the Human World. A year later, Aura received a dream, saying if he came to the ruins of the Midnight Palace, he'd find Lily (and his other friend, Rune's, partner, Jasmine). After rescuing a Shaymin, he sent the other members of the team home, including Rune. He then progressed through the ruins with the Shaymin, before going through a portal to the ruins of the Sunrise Tower. There, at the deepest part, he found a portal to the human world, and the two humans returned, Pokemon once more.
