"Hello my name is Kieran, I want to become a Pokemon master just like Ash Ketchum."

Well it was the next day, Jack and Jordy have completed their gym battle against Brock.

During, Jack's battle, I liked the strategy that he was using where he  had his Ekans take out Onix but then it lost to Geodude. Which wasn't bad because Geodude was weak.

After the battle, Jordy challenged Brock that was what a match should have been like for me. Her Squirtle was amazing as well as her Spearow. She used my style but hey if it helps her win, I don't care. I want to see all my friends succeed.

While the battle was going on I had a chat with Lois about our battle. She decided not to pursue a gym battle match against Brock but did decide a better future for herself and her Pokemon.

When she told me what she wanted to become I was happy for her because it is what she wants to do and not what anyone else wants.

Lois decided that gym battling isn't something she wants to do but rather become a Pokemon coordinator and a doctor. I thought what an amazing thing she would be doing.

We joked about how if any of my Pokemon's got injured so can look after them for me.

Lois was still upset about her only having one Pokemon. I ensured her that her time will come and before she knows it she will have a full team.

It was 9:55AM.

We were all walking and Lois was looking for a Pokemon she wanted to catch.

"Hey Lois, look there.(Pointing at a Caterpie)." I said.

She walked over to it and sent her Eevee out for battle. It was too late the Caterpie had got away.

"Don't worry Lois. You will get a new Pokemon soon." Said Jordy.

"Thanks babe, but I just want to be like everyone else." Said Lois.

I butted into the girl's conversation.

"Lois. My mum told me when I was younger to be myself because everyone was taken. She was right I'm my own person. If you had one Pokemon throughout our journey here so what. You still be as strong as us. Your time will come I know it." I said.

"Kieran's right. Louis your time will come." Said Jordy.

"Where did I find friends like you guys." Said Lois.

"Well you bullied me when we were younger." Said Jack.

"Only because you annoyed me he said I had a big head." Said Lois.

Jack started laughing, Lois decided to get her Eevee to attack Jack with tackle.

We all started laughing, even Jack.

We carried on our journey towards Cerulean City. Jordy bumped into an old lady.

"Oh sorry ma'am I didn't see you there." Said Jordy.

"It's okay dear, please follow me I need your help." Said the old lady.

We followed the old lady to her home.

"My Pokemon is stuck on the roof and won't come down. I would get my son to do it but it's in a cave digging out a fossil Pokemon." Said the old lady.

Lois looks up at the roof and see a Caterpie. She goes and gets a ladder from the house. One step at a time, Lois made it into the roof. She gets the Caterpie and brings it down.

"Thank you so much darling." Said the old lady.

The old lady looks at Lois. She begins to smile.

"You like the Caterpie don't you?" Said the old lady.

Lois nodded.

"I will make you a deal. You beat me in a Pokemon battle and Caterpie is yours. How about it?" Said the old lady.

Lois looks at me and Jordy.

We both nodded to her, and she agrees to the battle.

Jordy was the referee.

She introduced the rules for the battle stating the person who's Pokemon is left standing is the winning.

Me and Jack was on the sidelines, cheering Lois on. She looked nervous.

I rushed over to her and gave her a pep talk.

She smiled then looked at the Caterpie.

"Eevee use tackle!" Shouted Lois.

It was a hit. The Caterpie came back with its own move of bug bite.

Eevee managed to use sand attack.

Suddenly the Caterpie was glowing no one knew what was going on.

"It's evolving!" The old lady shouted.

Lois eyes was glowing up as she witnessed the Caterpie evolving.

It evolved into a Metapod.

"Method, the bug type Pokemon. Metapod, Caterpie's next stage. It has encased its body in a hard shell. This specimen reached this stage faster than any previously discovered Pokemon of this variety."

Wow the first Pokemon to evolve in front of everyone. We had forgotten the battle was still going on.

The newly evolved Pokemon used Harden.

So Lois got Eevee to keep attacking with tackle. Eventually Metapod gave in.

"Metapod is unable to battle, Eevee and Lois are the winner." Said Jordy.

The old lady returned her Pokemon and gave Lois the Metapod as promised.

We all smiled and thanked the old lady. We carried on our journey to Cerulean City.
