Now that the gang has split up and are facing their own journey, let's check in with them and see what they have been up to since then.

Walking over the hill making his way back home to his family, Jack had an encounter with Professor Oak.

"Oh hello Jack, nice to see you again. I don't know if you know I had a illness scare and I had to give up work but now I am feeling much better. Gary Oak, my grandson, has taken over in my place and I must say he is doing a great job. Jack where is the rest of your gang?" Asked Oak.

 "We all decided to go our separate ways for now but we will come together before the Pokemon League. I have one more gym battle left then I qualify but I have decided to slowdown because we were rushing too much and not actually enjoying our time." Said Jack.

"Jack can I have a look at your Pokedex?" Asked Oak.

Jack nodded and handed Oak our his Pokedex.

"The record shows you have seen 38 Pokemon and caught 3 pokemon. How have you managed this then?" Asked Oak.

"Trust, training and strategy. I could ask the same about Ash during his journey." Said Jack.

"Very true young man, I better be on my way. I will catch you another day." Said Oak.

"Morning sleepy head, was it a goodnight sleep?" Asked Jordy's mother. 

"My sleep was good thanks mum. How is dad? I haven't been able to get hold of him." Asked Jordy.

"Jordy, sweetheart I don't know where your father. Your brother has tried contacting him but ever since we signed the divorce papers, he hasn't bothered." Said Jordy's mother.

Jordy's brother came up to the bedroom with breakfast.

 "Here is your breakfast, now later we are having a battle I want to see how strong my little sister is." Said Jordy's brother.

"Okay Christopher I will battle you now leave and let me eat in peace." Said Jordy.

Chris left with a smirk on his face.

Shouting from the hallway "I need to decide what Pokemon I should use." 

Jordy shouting back at him "Only three Pokemon."

"So Lois you ready for your work experience at the Pokemon Centre today?" Asked Brock.

"Yes sir, what am I going to be learning today?" Asked Lois.

"Just the basic of becoming a doctor then later I will train you to be a Pokemon breeder. I want you to be 100% on what you want to do in life." Said Brock.

"Thank you Brock, this means a lot to me." Said Lois.

Brock nodded and smiled.

Back at Jordy's house..

Everyone is getting ready for battle.

"Come on then out to the back." Said Christopher

"Okay I will be the referee for this match. I hope you guys know the rules because it a pain having to repeat it when everyone knows it." Said Jordy's mother.

Both Jordy and Christopher said yes and proceeded to the outside.

"My first Pokemon come and fight for me." Said Christopher.

"What Pokemon is that, one second let me get the old Dex out." Said Jordy.

"Wow what a newbie." Said Christopher.

"Wigglytuff, the fairy type pokemon. It has large, saucer like eyes. The surfaces of its eyes are always covered with a thin layer of tears. If any dust gets in this Pokémon's eyes, it is quickly washed away." 

"Okay, I choose you Kakuna." Said Jordy.

"It will be Wigglytuff v Kakuna. Let the battles begin." Said the Mother.

"Wigglytuff use headbutt." Said Christopher.

"Counter that with Bug Bite Kakuna." Said Jordy.

Kakuna didn't even move a inch and instead took the attack.

"Kakuna why didn't you attack..(The Pokemon started to glow) Could it be?" Said Jordy.

Kakuna had evolve into Beedrill.

"Okay Beedrill use Peck." Said Jordy.

The match continue until dark.

"Okay guys you don't seem to be giving up anytime soon. Why don't we call it time and continue another day shall we?" Asked the mother.

Both Christopher and Jordy nodded their heads. They recalled their Pokemon.

At the Pokemon centre 

" Lois, can you go and check up on this person's Pokemon, please?" Asked Nurse Joy.

Lois went and check on the Pokemon.

Lois finished checking the pokemon and return to the front desk.

"Kieran Stevie your Pokemon are ready for you!" Said Lois.

"This is a surprise seeing you here." Said Kieran.

"Yeah Brock got me work experience working here whilst he gives me training for becoming a Pokemon breeder."

"Well you do what you believe is right." Kieran said as he got his Pokemon and made his way to the door.

"Kieran why are you here?" Lois asked.

"I'm going home and to check up on my Pokemon." Said Kieran.
