There's one thing I hate more than people

It's when they say,

"It's okay."

So what?

You actually expect me to believe you

You actually expect me to trust you

You've hurt me so many times

So don't tell me it'll be okay.

Because how can I believe that you aren't lying?

Why don't people say,

"It's not okay"

Or "it won't be okay"?

It's way more reassuring

Than the possibility of being lied to.

Besides why tell someone "it's okay"

When they've never been okay?
