HELLO MY LOVELY READERS!!

Ok, so I'm at my bus stop and there is this girl talking really loud. She's talking about how "horses kill people." And " they're dangerous and so easily spooked" and me, being an animal lover and having a best friend who rides horses for a living, am trying not to butt it because this isnt my conversation and because I'm kind enough not to school her I'm front of a filled bus stop. Although I really want to. Like, REALLY bad.

Anyway, she continues on to a story that she thinks proves her point.

"Ok, so this one time. I was at a friend's house who lived next to like, a ranch or whatever, anyway, one day I saw a girl on a horse, and I was already pissy that day anyway. And this girl looked like a bitch, ok she was. Like, mean girls level snob. The girl didn't pay any mind to me so I got pissed and I snuck up to the side of the horse and clapped my hands really loud. THAT THING LIKE ALMOST HIT ME IN THE FACE OML I IT ALMOST KILLED ME!! THEY GET SCARED BY EVERYTHING!!!" I'm serious guys, real words.

At this point, I'd had enough. Now me and this girl have gone at it a few times because she is an idiot. So she knows what's about to happen when I walk up to her. I snuck around behind her, her friends ignored me, and I clapped my hands really loud right behind her. She screamed midsentence and jumped a foot in the air.

"WHAT THE FU- OH, IT'S JUST YOU HAHA YOU GAVE ME A HEART ATTACK!!"

"That's how the horse felt."

"What?"

"That story you were telling earlier, with the girl and the horse, that's how the horse felt."

"So?"

"So. Don't go spewing shit out of your pie-hole if you don't know about the shit you're spewing."

"Excuse me?"

"You walked up behind a 2,000 pound animal, scared it, and got mad when it bucked, right?"

"IT ALMOST KILLED ME!"

"No, you scared it. It did exactly what you just did, it jumped. It heard a loud noise that it couldn't explain and it went immediately into defense mode. Seriously are you that fucking stupid? Yes. Horses can be skittish, but so can cats and dogs. Just because horses are bigger doesn't fucking mean they are murdering machines. And we train horses just like we train cats and dogs to help them get over the skittishness. What did that girl do after you scared her horse?"

She kind of glared at me a sec before she replied "she got really mad and glared at me while she got of her horse and calmed it down."

"You're lucky that's all she did. If I were in her shoes I would've broken your fucking nose. And when she calmed the horse down? That's basically the equivalent to cuddling a scared dog during a thunderstorm. What you did was a bitch move. What if that horse was abused before? What if the owner used to clap before he hit it? What if the horse was old and has heart problems?  Yes, they are big and yes, they have the capability to harm or even kill you, but if you know how to handle yourself around them then you don't have to worry about it. " I finished .

"*scoff* whatever *hair flip and turns back to her friends*"

I went and sat back down before my bus came and life was good.

Guys. I'm not saying I'm a horse expert or anything, BY ALL MEANS. I hardly know anything about caring for a horse, but I do admit I know a few facts on behavior and species and such. PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG IN THIS!!!! But I don't think I have any false facts.
