To my papaw who will always hold a special place in my heart. You will be greatly missed. I came up with this poem as I thought of you. I love you so much paw and know I will see you again.

Every tear drop is a key

To the memories I hold inside of me

All the precious moments bound to slip away

All the things we take for granted each and every day

If I could go back into the past

Then know I would so I could make things last

 They say what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger

But what I wouldn’t give to keep you a little longer

There comes a time when we must say goodbye

But I didn’t know how the time would fly

You will always be with me in my heart

Even though we will be far apart

One day I know I will see you once again

Until then I will stay strong to the very end
