The new me can talk all he wants but is still silent inside

The old me is now past, he is now dead and gone
The new me will last, he stays one step ahead as he moves along

The old me had good days and bad ones too
The new me knows one day his dreams will come true

The old me had no goals but enjoyed his days
The new me plans to be happy no matter what anyone says

The old me just wanted to finish school
The new me knows there's so much more to do
