The fish in the pond are finally free,
Free from that wintery storm,
The squirrels are awake,
Collecting food again,
Climbing my birdfeeder,
The birds are chirping and singing away,
Pecking at the seeds on my feeder,
The bears are awake,
Lumbering around for food,
This is here,
This is now,
This is spring as I see it,
Wonder and beauty,
Awake from the winter storms,
Foraging,
Munching,
Working away all day,
In prepare for next winter already.
