Y/N's POV

I sighed as I woke up and got ready for the entrance exams for U.A. They were today but I didn't stand a chance. I have a lame quirk anyway. My quirk is very unique because I actually have three and that's pretty rare I guess. My quirks are electrification, super sonic speed and nightmare.

My electrification quirk allows me to shield myself with electricity and I can even distribute electricity around me. It can get pretty dangerous sometimes but it's still pretty effective. If I use it too much I can short circuit my brain and I'm basically a walking dummy. I can barely function in that state which makes me prone to attacks and vulnerable.

My super sonic speed quirks works similar to the fictional character sonic the hedgehog. Basically my quirk gives me inhumaine super speed and extremely super quick reflexes. There isn't much downsides with this quirk apart from one thing. If I don't drink enough milk I won't be able to run as fast or have as good reflexes. Also if I overuse it I can often become weak or have extremely bad cramps and I'll be bed bound for 4-8 days.

My nightmare quirk allowed me to know what the other person is deathly afraid of but it only works on living things. Animals included. I can also make them hallucinate and make it seem as though their worst nightmare is coming true. The downside to this quirk is that if I overuse it I will eventually hallucinate and I won't be able to sleep properly for about a week because of nightmares and night terrors.

I guess you can say they are really cool and I'm lucky to have those quirks but to my parents I'm just a monster. A freak. Someone who shouldn't even be alive. I don't know how but my parents gave birth to someone with quirks even though they were quirkless. That's pretty rare nowadays with around about 80% of the population having some form of quirk.

I quietly went downstairs and grabbed my drink bottle with milk in it and ran to U.A high. I decided that I shouldn't use my quirks just yet incase I really need them for the entrance exam. Better safe than sorry I guess.

As I ran into the school I bumped into someone, I fell to the floor with a thud and dropped my drink bottle. Before it hit the floor I used my quick reflexes to grab it.

"You got some good reflexes there," a boys voice chuckled.

I looked up and saw bright yellow eyes. They belonged to a boy who had yellow hair with a black lightning bolt going through it. I stood up and drank more of my milk.

"What's in that Anyway?" He asked pointing to my bottle.

"Milk," I replied.

"Does that help you're quirk or something?" He asked.

I nodded. "Yeah, one of them..."

"Them?" He said with wide eyes.

I looked down. "Yes, please don't tell others..."

"I won't, secrets safe with me. Although people will find out eventually. The names Kaminari, Denki Kaminari," he smiled.

"L/N, Y/N L/N," I replied smiling a little.

"You should smile more, it suits you," he smiled.

"R-really?" I asked shocked at his statement.

He nodded. "Anyway we should get to the hall, ready for the start of the exam!"

I nodded. "Yeah we should, it could start at any moment."

We both walked to the hall and for some reason I didn't want to run away and hide. I was actually happy, that's different than usual. I wonder if he could actually be a friend? We soon made it to the hall and hundreds of students were already sitting down.

Soon the presenter Present Mic came and told us what to do.

Four bots, 1 pointer, 2 pointer, 3 pointer and a 0 pointer although that's basically an obstinate you should stay away from!

Soon enough we were all told to go to different training cities. They were literally the size of a frickin city! I looked around and saw Kaminari.

Looks like he's in the same one as me!

Soon the doors opened and I ran in using my super sonic speed to get in front of everyone. Of course I was faster than everyone and a few were even shocked at my speed. Soon I was met with four robots.

A 3 pointer, two 2 pointers and a 1 pointer.

"Stay clear everyone!" I yelled.

I felt the electricity flowing through my veins as I grabbed onto a large metal pole. I ran towards the robots and hit the one in front sending waves of electricity knocking them all down at once. I dropped the pole and looked around. I saw a robot that was falling and three people were underneath it.

I ran to them and pulled them to safety. I stood back up and ran around looking for more to fight. I saw Kaminari use his quirk to knock out a ton of robots.

Huh electrification just like me.

I saw a robot heading for him and I ran to him and moved him out the way as I send a wave of electricity to the robot. A 2 pointer.

"Same quirk Huh?" Kaminari asked.

"Yep now hurry up and get back to work!" I yelled as I ran off.

I ran inside a building and saw someone unconscious and three robots. I grabbed the person and took them out the building so my quirk didn't hurt them. I then ran back in and sent a ball of electricity towards the three robots. A 3 pointer, a 1 pointer and another 3 pointer. I groaned as I felt the over use of my quirk taking effect.

I can't keep relying on electricity!

I focused on different plans as I ran through the city searching for more people to save and more robots to take out. Eventually I found an out 5 more people and I had to save another 2 peoples lives. I went around a corner and found 10 robots. This is it, 20 seconds on the clock.

I got the robots attention and focused all my energy on my electricity quirk. I screamed a war cry thing, I guess. Well anyway I yelled as I all 10 exploded from the amount of electricity. Only enough time to see how many points.

2, 1, 1, 1, 3, 2, 3, 3, 1, and 2.

Then everything went hazy.

Great idiot mode activated! Now everyone will thing I'm stupid!

I soon regained my normal self and I saw I was in a different room. I looked around and saw Kaminari, he was in the same state I was in before. Idiot mode, looks like he overused his quirk too. He soon became normal again and looked around.

"Everyone's gonna think I'm a weirdo now!" He grumbled.

"Don't worry, they'll think I am one too!" I smiled.

He jumped. "Huh-oh right, did you over use your quirk too?"

I nodded. "Yeah. Anyway I gotta go, don't wanna be late to get back home, lucky my super sonic speed quirk was barely affected!"

"Okay, Wait!" He yelled.

"Hmm?"

"Can I have your number so we can chat and hang out? You seem really cool!" He asked scratching the back of his neck nervously.

Someone wants to hang out and chat with me?!

I smiled and nodded. "Sure!"

I handed him my phone and he handed me his. I typed in my number and gave him his phone back. He handed me mine and I waved goodbye before racing back home.

"You're late young lady!" My father yelled.

"Sorry I overused my quirk in the entrance exam," I sighed.

"Go to your room, no dinner for you!" He yelled.

I bowed. "Yes father."
