I woke up feeling uncomfortable and in some pain. The stinging sensation in my neck made me remember what happened.

I felt something wet and cold on my lower abdomen, and I looked down to find a pack of frozen vegetables wrapped up in a towel.

I laid it elsewhere and tried sitting up, but I sat up too quickly and I felt a pain in my chest. It was then that I realized that my chest was wrapped up in bandages.

I had to use the bathroom so I got up slowly, and steadily made my way to the bathroom. After I finished, I looked at myself in the mirror.

I looked a complete mess.

My hair was messy, there were slight bags under my eyes, and my skin looked paler than usual.

I walked out of the bathroom to go to my bed, but I noticed that Jeno and Jaemin weren't in their own rooms. I went back to where I woke up, and I finally noticed that the tv was on. They were sleeping together in my smaller couch.

I walked over to them, and turned the tv off. It's seven in the morning, so it's way too early for them to be awake.

I pulled up the blanket they had to cover them, and made sure that they were warm before going to the kitchen.

I placed the vegetables back in the freezer, and looked for something to eat. I tried to reach up into the cabinet where the snacks were, but reaching up caused me to feel an unbearable pain in my chest, making me slightly yell out in pain.

I fell to my knees with a semi-loud thud, wondering why my chest was hurting so much. I heard footsteps coming towards me, and I didn't have to look up to know that it was Jeno. I know what his footsteps sound like.

"Hyung! Are you ok?!"

He got down to my level, and tried to figure out what was wrong with me.

"M-My chest..."

"You tried to reach up to the cabinet, didn't you...?"

I just nodded, wondering to myself how he knew that.

He picked me up bridal style and took me to my room, carefully placing me in my bed.

Jaemin walked in and turned the TV on, and Jeno walked out.

"What do you want to watch hyung?"

I just shrugged my shoulders, and said anything was fine.

After he put the tv on a movie, he elevated my chest by putting a pillow under me.

Then Jaemin left when Jeno came back with more frozen vegetables wrapped up in a towel, and placed it on my bruises.

"How do you feel hyung?"

He asked, while examining my neck.

"My chest hurts"

"Your neck doesn't hurt?"

"It's a little sore, but no"

"I'm glad~"

He smiled a little bit, before slightly fixing my hair for me.

Then Jaemin came back with two drinks: peppermint tea and water. He held them both up, for me to decide which one I wanted.

I honestly didn't know which one I wanted more.

He laughed at the indecisive look on my face, and just laid them both down on my nightstand.

"What do you want to eat hyung?"

"Ramen"

I answered immediately.

Jeno and Jaemin helped me eat my ramen and drink my tea and water, which took a while since I refused to let them feed me at first.

But after they pleaded to feed me over and over again, I finally accepted.

The ramen was indeed good, and the tea was well made. And, to be honest, I'm glad that they were the ones to take care of me.

"We'll leave you alone now if you want hyung"

Jaemin and Jeno were about to walk out of the room, but I didn't want them to go.

"Hey"

I called out, and they looked back at me.

I looked away, and pat both sides of the bed.

"I-It's not nice to leave a injured person alone and lonely.."

Jaemin sounded surprised by the little noise he made, but Jeno just softly chuckled to himself.

"Yah... What's so funny..?"

"Nothing hyung~"

Jeno soon plopped down on my left side, and Jaemin on my right.

We continued to just lay there and watch TV, enjoying each other's company. Even if it's my first time doing something like this with others, it feels nice.

Jaemin seemed hesitant, but he soon cuddled himself up to me, and Jeno did the same.

"We're sorry that we couldn't prevent you from getting hurt hyung.."

"We weren't fast enough.."

They kept apologizing, even though it wasn't their faults.

They couldn't have prevented what happened, and I don't blame or hate them for any of it.

"Stop apologizing. In the end, you both saved me, which means you're both my best friends"

They both looked completely shocked from what I just said, which, in return, confused me.

"W-What did you say hyung??"

"We're really officially your best friends now???"

I smiled and brought them back down to lay on my shoulders, gently petting them both on the head.

"Yes. My first and only best friends"
