This chapter is dedicated to one of my best friends Asia because I inspired her to get a wattpad and she reads 'My Personal Trainer'! She's writting stories soon too so go check hers out! 18~My Lady

Brianna P.O.V.

“Where is everybody today?” I mumbled as I tip toed down the hall with my panda back pack over my shoulder. I think my back was on the verge of ripping but that tends to happen when you have so much junk in it. 

The point is that I can’t find anyone. Erin went to the bathroom but that was like twenty minutes ago. Trisha went to her locked but from here her locker is in plain view and she isn’t. Payton on the other hand went out to lunch with Tristen and that left me lonely. Is that a surprise…..no it is not.

I rolled my eyes and just sat there leaning again the cold lockers. The hallways were empty which didn’t surprise me. There’s only a week left of school meaning that everyone was outside for lunch because honestly, who really wants to be in school. 

It’s been three weeks ever since the ‘situation’ happened and ever since then I’ve been doing a little research. I knew that I wouldn’t like the results but I don’t want to go into this whole mating thing blind. Before I did the research all I knew about mates were that both bite each other and by doing that people would know that their wolf was taken and eventually you’ll start going into heat every full moon. 

Boy am I glad that I did research because what I didn’t know was that the longer you take to full mate, by making love, then your heat gets worse and worse throughout every full moon. Usually your first heat starts two days before the full moon and ends once the full moon phase is over but with every passing full moon the heat comes earlier, last longer than the previous, it‘s a continus burning sensation and it gets harder and harder for your mate to lower the flames of your heat unless you fully mate. 

Now that I know all of this I’m not looking forwards for Thursday to come because Thursday will be the first day that I will ever go into heat. 

Why do my wolf have to be so damn demanding?

I sighed deeply out of frustration. I’m already frustrated about this whole mating thing, they last thing I need to do is frustrate myself even more. I dropped my panda back pack onto the floor and glided onto the floor letting the cold tiled floor tough my bare legs. 

I wonder why I even bothered to wear this stupid skirt. The skirt was cute and all but I’m starting to think that I wore it just so I could caught Lewis’s attention even though I’m avoiding him. 

Why do I have to be such a girl? 

Taking the new black book out of my bag I flipped to the page seventy two. It was a book about mating and mates, I know it sounds dumb right but the Beta gave it to me saying that I might want to take a look at it. He kind of saw me sneaking into the library at the pack house and he automatically knew what I was looking for. 

The section I was reading was about why wolves heat were the strongest on full moons. To answer that question, it was because that your wolf peak and it want to fully be with it’s mate in all ways possible but there was something special about a full moon. On full moons male wolves strive to impregnate their mates so that she could bare a child and female wolves strive to please their mates and give into him so he could do just that.

I’m sorry, I want to have kids and all but nowhere in the near future will I be ready to become a mother, I’m barely a kid myself. Not only that but I’m not ready to take that step…..I was barely ready to take the step of telling him but look where I am now. He knows, I’m marked and about to go into heat in three days. Prefect story to tell my kids about when they find their mates. 

I could hear foot steps from down the hall but I really didn’t care who it was. This is a school and you are going to find people all over. 

I continued on reading the section and the foot steps continued and stopped…..right in front of me. Someone cleared their throat to caught my attention but it was a male that did so, I could tell. 

Nervously I bit my lip and slowly inhaled. How could I be stupid enough to not notice his scent from a mile away? After all his scent is on me every since that ‘situation’ happened. 

My eyes drifted off of the page to stare at my silver sandals and from the corner of my eye I could see his white and black sneaks and his jeans but I didn’t dare look any farther then that. 

“What do you want?” I said softly. Right at this moment I just wanted him to go away but then again I wanted him to be close. 

“Can we talk now?” His voice sounded so pleasant to hear. It made my insides tingle. 

One thing for sure was that he was patient. He waited a couple of seconds before slowly taking another step closer to me. When I pulled my legs up to my chest he took that as him opportunity to sit where my legs previously were. Now instead of starring at my sandals I was now starring at his white shirt that easily showed off the out lines of his abs. 

Why does he have to be so prefect?

“Do you not want to look at me either?” His voice sounded hurt and hearing him sound so hurt just made me feel hurt. Lifting my head up I looked at his face and held my breathe. It feels like I’m falling for him all over again….

“Talk,” I said softly with no emotion. I didn’t trust my voice to say more than that, now in these days I feel emotionally unstable, as if my periods weren’t enough touchier to go through every month. 

“I-I wanted to start by saying sorry. I know that I shouldn’t have marked you just yet and now I know that marking you just made you feel pushed into doing something that your weren’t ready for. It’s just that at the moment it just felt like the right thing to do, I always wanted to find my mate and show her how much I love her and I still do want to do that but I want you to know that I won’t push you into doing anything just yet.” 

Even though his words were sinser, honest and full with pride I couldn’t help but to be uneasy with his last words. “Just yet?” 

His gray eyes looked away from me before he sighed deeply running his hand through his thick brown hair. His tongue shot out to lick his luscious lips before disappearing behind straight white teeth that were clenched together. 

“Brianna, I won’t lie to you. I have control over myself but with you……it’s going to be a different story.” He wouldn’t really take advantage of me….would her? That would be so unlike him to take advantage of me. “There is only so much that my wolf could handle so right now I could only promise you that I won’t try anything to make you feel some type of my intentionally without your permission.”

I nodded, trusting that he would stay committed to his word. “I’d like that” I told him and for the first time in a long time I actually smiled. It wasn’t a large smile but it was a small smile that made his grey eyes fill with joy. 

“I’d like that too.” 

My smile grew wider if possible and I couldn’t help but to giggle a little as he starred back at me with a hazed expression and a smile that was a thousand watts. At this point I was ready to get over him finding out, I was ready to get over the fact that he marked me and I’m ready to get over the fact that I will start going into heat. At this moment I wanted to try to just be with him no matter what he done or might do to me. 

“So what are you reading? You looked really interested in it.” I looked at him confused before it clicked. The book was covered from him seeing with my legs being in front of the cover but that’s when I started panicking again. 

I quickly crossed my legs and shut the book but before I could put it into my panda bag it was out of my hands and in Lewis’s as he examined the cover with a smile on his face. “Oh.” I didn’t know if that was a good oh or a bad oh but I just want that stupid book back. 

I could feel my cheeks change shades and he slowly handed me back the book with a smirk set on his lips but as I took the book away from him his smirk fell into a frown but as quick as the frown came it was replaced with his cute smile. “My dad gave you that didn’t he?” 

I nodded once. 

“He gave me that same book when I was sixteen telling me that I might find my mate sooner or later so I should be prepared and know everything that would possible and will happen.” He laughed back at the memory before continuing on. “At the time I didn’t want to talk to my parents about any of the stuff that came with mating because I found it really weird and uncomfortable but by the end of the week I was fully educated about the topic but to make sure that I fully got it, my dad gave me that book too read.”  

His parents cared for him and I found that as a beautiful thing. “That’s great but why did you frown all of a sudden?” I asked. 

“Brianna I learned everything in that book” He said it as if I were suppose to know what he was talking about but I had no clue what he was talking about. It’s a good thing if he knew everything in this book so that we could be prepared for up coming challenges and stuff.

“Isn’t that a good thing?” I asked. Now I was dumbfounded. 

His Adams apple bobbed up and down as he tried finding the right words to say. “It’s…….” Whatever he had to say couldn’t be that hard to get out. “Your going to go into heat alone.” 

I really don’t want to talk about it. Thinking about going into heat already makes me paranoid enough, I don’t need a reminder. “I know, it‘s ok” I told him timidly while playing with my fingernails. 

“It’s not ok with me because I’m the reason why your going into heat and I promise you I’ll be there to help you get through it all.” 

I honestly think that with him there will only make my heat worse but how do I tell him that? “It’s really ok Lewis, I could get through it alone.” I tried but he wasn’t buying it. 

He starred at me with a hard expression and said, “ your going to need me baby and I’m going to be there. You can’t do this alone because when it comes to a certain point when it’s too much I’m going to hold you in my arms until it’s all over. There’s no one that’s going to keep me away from you at the times you need me the most.”

His words made my heart skip a beat a thousand times in one minute but I’m surprised I’m not dead yet. At this point I couldn’t say no to him, deny him or try pushing him away. He was just too sweet and all he wants to do is help me though my many heats. It’s going to be painful and there might be a few tears shaded from here to there but at the end he’s still going to be with me and keeping his promise for now…until he breaks my barriers and heat for the first time. 

So all I could simply say at this point was “Thank you.” 

He just smiled and shook his head “The pleasure is all mines my dear lady.” 

After a couple of seconds in silence Lewis smiled grew wide and he moved closer to me and placed his hand on my knee. His hand on my knee sent a cool feeling throughout my body that made me want to close my eyes and have him run his hands all over my legs but I resisted. “I wanted to ask you this weeks ago but I’m going to ask you now. Will you go to prom with me on Friday?” 

I was lost a words. I knew prom was on Friday and then graduation was on Sunday but I guess I was just too caught up with this mating thing that I completely forgot. Of course Lewis was going to be at prom since he is a senior and all but I’ve never thought about him asking me just because I was his mate. 

“Really?” I asked to see if he was sure. 

“Really.” he said with shining eyes. 

Again…Who am I do deny him?

“Of course I’ll go with you.” I said with a cheesy smile on my face but his was even cheesier as he pulled me into his arms and hugged me catching me off guard. 

I laughed at his action and allowed him to hug me tight. “You won’t regret it Brianna” he whispered to me. 

“I know I won’t,” I told him. Even though on prom day I will still be in heat until Sunday I wouldn’t let him miss prom for the world. Prom is the night that everyone looks forwards too since forever and who am I to say no to his offering. 

As he pulled away his smile was still there as he deeply starred at me with those gray eyes that I know I’ll love for the rest of my life. “I-I have to g-go to my locker b-before t-the first bell r-rings” I forced out.

He quickly stood up and before I could comprehend what he was doing he grabbed onto both my hands and pulled me to my feet and grabbed my panda bag off the floor before I could do it myself. “Thanks” I told him before he winked at me and held his hand out for me to take. I hesitantly placed my hand in his larger one and he softly squeezed while smiling down at me. 

“They are so cute!” someone whispered.

“Shut up, they’re going to hear us and then your going to ruin the moment Pa---” 

“Both of you just shut up for the love of god! I think they’re about to kiss!” A voice squealed. 

Both Lewis and I gave each other the same looked before turning our heads to look down the hall only to see three heads pop around the corner and footsteps running. 

So now they show up. Were they spying on us the whole time?

But then I remembered what they said and blushed like a mad women. 

“They were spying on us.” Lewis said amused at both the three Peeping Toms and my face. “I’ll have to have a talk with them later but right now I’m going to escort my lady to her locker and then to class.” 

And just like that we were off hand and hand and the funny part is that I forgot all about the heat that will soon be approaching me. For all I care mother nature could blow me because all I need to worry about right now is finding a prefect dress for prom and bring Lewis home to meet my family. Oh, boy…….

That's the end of this chapter and I honestly think this is the fastest I've ever written a chapter straight from my head. I really had fun writting this chapter and tell me what you think of Brianna and Lewis and too all of you that started to dislike Lewis....what do you think of him now???     Peeping Toms! That is so something that my friends Brianna, Asia and Karli would do to me so the three peeping toms represents them!!!
