Meet Virgo
Ophiuchus lead me a few blocks away to a large cathedral looking building. "Is this a church?" I asked as we walked the marble staircase leading to the large intricately detailed oak door. "Not quite. This is the master library," he smiled before opening the door. I was blown away. We were greeted by the smell of books. Everything was super clean, well organized, and not a book out of place. All over I saw differ maps and paintings adorn the walls.
A wooden spiraling staircase, and a large chandelier who's crystals mimicked stars. The carpet looked exactly like a perfect night's sky with gold constellations painted on the navy blue ceiling. The front desk was right in front of us as if it was just a regular library. "This place is incredible," I gasped. "Well it is where you can find any piece of information your heart desires. Maps, political records, even information about specific people. This is a very powerful building," he explained. "Wow that's amazing," I said surprised and he nodded.
"Now Virgo should be around here somewhere," he paused as he looked around. "I don't hear anything," I said looking around as well. "They don't usually make any sudden or unnecessary noise," Ophiuchus explained walking forward to the front desk and hit the small bell on the counter. I looked around till I heard the faint sound of small turning wheels. I snapped to my left and I felt my heart skip a beat when I saw her, pushing a antique small cart filled with books.
Dressed in a tope and light brown vintage cottage-core style dress, and a quil behind her ear. Contrasting with her, bob length, light brown hair in light bouncy curls. Her beautiful eyes mimicked dark chocolate and skin could have passed for snow. As she walked up to us i swear I could have been looking at a delicate water color. A beautiful painting coming to life before my eyes.
"Hello, sorry I didn't hear you come in," she called. Her voice like a mature young lady graced our presence as she left the cart and walked right up to us. "Ah Virgo that's quite alright. This is Olivia," smiled Ophiuchus. "Oh it's a pleasure to meet you dear. You may call me Demetrius. I hope I can show you a splendid time," she softly smiled. "Alright well I'll be off. How a good time," he waved before disappearing. "Well I have a lot planned for today. We should start immediately so we don't fall behind," she explained and I nodded. "Ok lead the way," I smiled and I followed her. As we were walking I decided to start conversation.
"I heard you and Leo are friends," I smiled and she stopped at a table that had a few books scattered about. "Well Aslan and I are ok with each other. Normally we don't go to the same places, but when they are tuckered out they aren't so bad. Conversation is always interesting," she explained before putting a few away. "You both just seem so different," I said handing her another book. "Understandable. I only talk with a few of the other signs. I find Ziro the most interesting though. They're great to talk to," smiled Demetrius. "Ziro?" I asked confused. "Sorry I guess you haven't met them yet. It's Scorpio," she explained. "Oh ok, yeah I haven't met them, yet," I replied and they sighed. "I told Ophiuchus you should have gone through the signs in elements. Starting off hot with Ari was a bad choice," she sighed. "It's fine. I leaned a lot," I tried to explain. "No I'm sure I'm right," she said before walking off and I followed close behind. We followed her scheduled plans one by one. She had a timer and would get a little huffy if we didn't move quickly to the next activity. Not even giving me time to catch my breath and I even had to chase after her a few times. First it was color code the library's directory, second was a tour of the place, followed by a visit to their small star viewing area, where she had a picnic set up. Two pillows and a large basket. The blanket it all rested on was a lovely soft cream color. We sat on pillows as she pulled out a small thermos and offered it to me. "I have special drinks for the both of us," Demetrius smiled and I took it. "Thank you," I smiled back as I watched her pull out home made lunch boxes and another small thermos.
"I'm glad you enjoyed today," she said unsure before taking a small drink. "Anytime, I had fun," I smiled back. "Really?! I know spending time with me can be a little boring, but we got a lot done today, and I'm happy I didn't have to do it alone," she explained. "That's understandable. So far this star place is my favorite," I smiled back before taking a drink and I stopped. "Is something wrong," she asked leaning close to me. "No I just-... this is my favorite drink," I said surprised. "Well of course. I did a lot of research for you. I learned your favorite drink and food," Demetrius smiled excitedly as she lifted the lid on one of the lunchboxes. "Oh wow! I hope you didn't go through that much trouble," I gasped. It was packed with every one of my favorite foods that I could possibly think of.
I was caught off guard when I felt a hand on top of my head. "I wanted to make for certain that you'd enjoy today," she said embarrassed and I felt my cheeks flare up. "It was lovely," I said looking down. "That's good. Spending time with you like this makes me happy. We're all relaxed and calm. I love it," Demetrius chuckled before she slowly leaned her head on my shoulder. I felt my heart speed up. "This is probably the closest to a real date I've had. Everything today was something we could have done back in my world. A perfect date for a long term relationship," I thought as I was gently placing my head on top of hers. We sat there for, I don't know how long, but I loved every moment of it. Slowly grazing at the amazing tasty food, and going small talk here and there. Mostly about my family back home and my interests. I looked down at her and she looked up at me. At that moment I wanted to kiss her so badly. "May I," she whispered. I could feel her breath on my lips and I became putty in her hands. "You may," I whispered back and she kissed me. I completely melted. So gentle, so soft. Her kiss was so different than Aslan's. It felt like we were meant to be together, like this is a kiss I would give to someone I married. I wanted to make her my wife.
We parted and she smiled. "I guess we should call it a day. I'm glad to have spent this time with you," she smiled. "I..I am too," I said embarrassed and she chuckled. With a blink of my eyes I was once again back at my apartment. "Welcome home. I'm surprised to see you back so late. Normally Virgo would have bored people. You must have had a good time," he smiled. "She was amazing. So gentle and sweet. I've never met anyone like her," I smiled back. "I'm glad you both enjoyed yourselves. Ready for another," he asked. "Yeah... just give me a minute," I replied as I walked to my balcony and looked at the stars. "She probably would have stolen my heart if we continued to date. I think she's going to be my first choice," I thought digesting everything that just happened and smiling to myself. I stared out at the city and then at the beautiful sky. After a few minutes I looked back to see Ophiuchus standing at the door. "Who's next," I smiled walking up to him. "Libra," he replied.
