Flashback

His heart stopped as his eyes met the raging, piercing eyes boring holes into his head.

Jin stood for a minute, watching Hoseok. Hoseok's fists were clenched, and up close Jin knew he would be able to see the flare emitting from Hoseok's nostrils.

The sky had gone dark, the day was slowly coming to an end but Jin could tell very much that his little gesture with Jungkook would bring night faster to him.

As he proceeded to crossover, Hoseok swivelled around and began walking towards the direction of their school. His steps were heavy and his strides, long. His head bowed in anger, his hands were close to his sides, still. They remained in a fist.

Jin walked behind him, keeping his distance. He took slow, shaky steps. His heart was running a marathon. He could already feel the aura from Hoseok envelop and begin to choke him.

Familiar faces sent him smiles, amd waved their hands at him. All he could do was muster a forced smile at them as he entered the building.

Hoseok was already in their room, he couldn't see him anymore.

A part of him constantly pricked him, ate at him, asked him why he had agreed to bring Jungkook to his dorm. He knew Hoseok. He knew how he got when he was with other guys. Why had he not dismissed Jungkook's idea? That nervous, cowardly part queried him.

But he couldn't have. Jungkook had needed him, needed a distraction from his hurt and life. He could not have said no. The disappointment he had read on Jungkook's face earlier when he had almost turned him down, guilted him. All he wanted was for the kid to be happy, to be able to live without thinking he had to pay a price before he could be truly happy. Jin had wanted to be there for him. And that part of him, didn't regret bringing him home.

He hadn't done anything wrong but be there for a friend.

Why was he telling himself all these? Why was he bantering with his own mind? Because they were words he wanted to tell Hoseok. Only if Hoseok would hear him.

Jin hesitated outside their door. His hands hanging on the door knob, not wanting to turn. Not wanting to face what was awaiting on the other side.

Letting out a shaky breath, he turned the knob and walked in, a shiver running up his spine. The room felt unusually cold, but he soon found the source of the extra coldness.

Standing next to the open fridge was Hoseok, a can of beer in his hand. 1 empty can already on the floor.

"Baby, I swear to you that-"

Hoseok put his hand up, cutting Jin off. He wasn't looking at Jin. His eyes were fixed on the baseball bat that was on the table. It hadn't been there before, so he must have brought it. To use it on Jin.

Jin prayed for the ground to open up and digest him like a shark swallowing a small, tiny fish.

Hoseok downed the content of the can and proceeded to open another one.

"Baby, no, don't," Jin rushed over to grab the can from Hoseok's hand.

Angry Hoseok was evil. Drunk Hoseok was a devil. But drunk angry Hoseok... that Jin hadn't found a level of demonic possession to describe.

Once Hoseok had been drunk and angry, he broke a vase on Jin's head. Jin had woken up 2 days after in a hospital bed with a bad headache and tennis ball sized bump on his head.

Hoseok's eyes slowly, deadly lifted from the ground to look at Jin. His glare was intense, deep and hateful.

Jin shook his head, backing up, away from Hoseok.

"Who was his?" Hoseok voice was deep, angry. It was scary.

"Baby, I promise you.. I swear down, he was just a friend. Nothing happened."

"Nothing happened?" Hoseok was closing up on him, an angry smirk had formed on his mouth.

"I swear!"

God, he was dead meat!

Jin's body hit the couch. He stopped breathing for a second.

"Nothing happened, yet you were hugging?!"

Jin let out a scream just as Hoseok grabbed onto his hair, shoving his head downwards.

"Baby, please," Jin cried. Hot tears were burning his eyes, falling.

"Who the fuck is he?!" Hoseok yelled, his palm going to collide with Jin's head.

"A friend!"

"Oh fucking God! Who do you think you're lying to?"
Jin felt a sudden jolt upwards, and he was up face to face with Hoseok.

Hoseok's eyes were red. Veins running on his forehead and neck. His lips were trembling from anger.

"Baby, p-please, i won't-" Jin shook his head frantically, nervously. "I would never lie to you."

"Are you fucking him?" Hoseok's grip had tightened, his other hand digging into Jin's side.

Jin shook his head. His eyes shut, from pain on his scalp and his side.

Hoseok shoved Jin to the floor and kicked his legs to connect with Jin's back but Jin was quick to crawl away to the other side of the room.

"Please, baby, forgive me!"

Jin scrambled around in search for cover.

Hoseok chased Jin around, finally catching up to him. Grabbing him by the legs, Hoseok pulled Jin swiftly and hard causing Jin's jaw to collide with the floor.

A sharp pain jogged through his face as his teeth vibrated in his mouth.

"I did nothing," Jin stammered, crying, with the sting he felt in his mouth.

Hoseok grabbed his shirt and pulled him up to face him, his hand going up for a slap, but he stopped short. His hand hung im the air, his eyes scanning Jin's face. Jin's eyes were wet and shut, his breath was hitched, his cheeks were wet like he had just washed his face without drying it, his mouth trembling, his saliva mixed with blood dripped all the way from his busted lips to his shirt.

Hoseok's hand fell by his side and he took a shaky step back, away from Jin. Realising his anger had caused him to draw blood from Jin.

Jin remained in that position, in that state of fear, not moving as he was expecting the hit from Hoseok. The hit never came.

He fluttered his eyes open. He found Hoseok looking at him, in shock.

Jin was still trembling. And when he came to his senses that Hoseok had backed away, he swivelled and headed to the bathroom, locking the door.

Sliding to the floor, Jin broke down in sobs. His whole body was in pain, he was hurting, burning. His head felt like a drum that was being pounded on, nonstop. His mouth felt heavy, he could barely feel it.

Bringing his shirt up, Jin looked down at his left side, a purple mark had formed there from Hoseok's pinching. It stung when he touched it.

But above all that, his heart felt more pain; more betrayal. He was still yet to come to terms that the person causing him so much pain was someone he had always been ready to walk through hell for. Someone that had once been his source of comfort. That person had become the terror he dreaded every moment of his life.

A couple of minutes passed with Jin sat on the chilled floor, crying. His heart was very heavy and he couldn't believe he was the same person going through all of these. He had never imagined in his life to ever be in a situation like that.

The door knob jiggled from the other side.

"Baby?"

Jin's heart picked up pace as he scooted away from the door.

Hoseok knocked on the door. "Baby, please, let me in."

Jin shook his head in refusal as his eyes watered, making his vision blurry.

Hoseok knocked again. "Jin, please!"

Jin had started to sob again.

For a moment, Jin heard nothing from the other side. No knocking. No voice.

His phone started to ring in his pocket. He knew it was Hoseok. He wouldn't respond. His feelings were hurt enough. His phone rang once more in his pocket, and Jin just let it.

Again, Hoseok came back knocking. His voice shook when he spoke this time, pleading for Jin to let him in.

"Just let me see you, Jin. Please," He cried. "Please, baby. Please. Let me see you."

Jin had stopped crying, his eyes were lost somewhere on the white wall tiles of the bathroom, but his mind was lost far away from his dorm room.

But somewhere inside his head, Hoseok's voice dominated it. The voice he had fallen in love with 2 years ago.

Jin was snapped out of his thoughts when his phone vibrated in his pocket.

This time he got it out to read what Hoseok must have sent to him, but it hadn't been Hoseok. It had never been Hoseok.

It was Jungkook.

The first times, it had been Jungkook calling when he had thought it was Hoseok. And now, it was Jungkook. He had sent a message.

From Jungkook:

Thank you for today, hyung. You really made me happy 😊 I was so sad when I left. I miss you already hyung ♥️ I'll dream of you and I together in your dorm room as roommates, isn't that a good dream hyung? Have a good night, Jin hyung.

Jin read Jungkook's message over and over and over again. Then he brought his phone to his chest.

At least, his choco kookie was happy. That was the only good thing about that night.

Jin held unto his phone to his chest, his eyes shut, for the next couple of minutes. Then he pulled it away.

He went to dial Jungkook's number but quickly ended it before it went through. Jungkook would pick up from his voice that something was wrong.

So, he went back to his messages and sent a reply.

To Jungkook:

I'm happy that you're happy, my choco kookie :) What a nice dream that would be! Invite me into your dream, so I'd get to see my kookie one more time tonight okay? ;) Sleep well ♥️

Jin's head ached him and he regretted always keeping his Paracetamol in his bag and not the bathroom cabinet.

"OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR, JIN!"

Jin pulled his legs up to his chest, burying his head in it. He didn't flinch as Hoseok kept banging on it. There was no way he would get in anyways.

When Jin woke up, it was to little taps on his hand. His eyes fluttered open to find Hoseok staring at him. He jumped away but Hoseok was quick to hold him back.

"It's okay. I'm normal," Hoseok breathed.

Jin wasn't completely convinced, but he nodded slowly. His breathing was obviously unstable.

"Come to bed. It's freezing."

With Hoseok's hands around his waist, they walked to their bedroom.

Hoseok lifted the duvet so Jin would slide in, then he too joined Jin, pulling the duvet over their bodies.

Jin felt Hoseok hug him from behind, tightly that it hurt his aching body, but he didn't protest.

The kisses began from his shoulders, to his ears then to his cheeks. He felt Hoseok sit with his elbows as he turned Jin to face him.

His eyes were glossy as he intently looked into Jin's own. Hoseok leaned down and kissed both his eyes that had now formed tears, kissing away the tears.

A sob escaped Jin's mouth and he bit his lips to stop more from escaping. His lips trembled. He wanted to cry his heart out.

"I'm sorry." Tears left Hoseok's eyes and fell onto Jin's face. Jin didn't wipe Hoseok's tears from his face, he let them roll down his own face joining with his tears. "I'm sorry I hurt you. I'm sorry that I touched you again. I'm sorry I made you cry. I would never do it again. I would never lay a finger on you. I love you so much, Jin. I'm so sorry."

After his speech, Hoseok leaned down and kissed Jin's mouth, sucking lightly, tasting Jin's blood on his mouth.

Jin shut his eyes and didn't say anything to Hoseok. He didn't kiss him back either.

He lay still on the bed, with no form of emotion whatsoever as Hoseok pleasured him, touching him and sucking him off.

Hosoek came back up with a smile on his face. "Did you enjoy it, baby?"

Jin nodded, looking at the ceiling.

"I'm glad you did. You deserve it. Do you want me to do it again? I'll be happy to. Whatever you want, just say it."

"No, thanks."

Jin turned on his sides, backing Hosoek.

Hoseok came back to hold him, spooning him.

For minutes Jin stayed awake. He had even thought Hoseok had dozed off but then Hosoek spoke.

"There's a holiday after the morning classes tomorrow, go to your family."

Jin remained quiet.

"You wanted to go last week. Go tomorrow and be with your family for the holidays. Will that make you happy?"

Jin hesitated but nodded.

"Okay, baby. Then that's okay with me."

Hoseok whispered a good night to Jin, saying he loved him, before going to sleep.

Jin stayed awake and only went to sleep by 4 am that morning.
