"Jungkook, can we talk?"

Jungkook didn't have to turn around to know who said it. He could already feel his heart clench.

"I'm busy."

"No, you're not."

"Yoongi, can you please leave me alone? I'm not in a good mood," Jungkook replied in utter frustration.

"Why aren't you in a good mood?"

"Nothing."

A small sigh escaped Jungkook's mouth. He was irritated all over. That morning he had tried contacting Jin but failed. Namjoon had yelled at him for using his shampoo without telling him, saying he had to learn to be polite and always take permission from people first before using their stuff. Adding to that, Taehyung had completely ignored him when he had seen him and acted liked they hadn't been dating a few days back. Plus he had forgotten to do his history homework given to them the day he and Taehyung had broke up, which he was sure he was going to get in big trouble for.

And here Yoongi was, trying to add to all of that.

"You can talk to me, maybe I can help, you know," Yoongi cajoled. Jungkook could perceive his expensive cologne from directly behind him.

"Seriously, Yoongi, stop."

"Why are you pushing me away?"

Jungkook swivelled in anger. "What do you want? For me to fricking hug you?"

Yoongi was taken aback by Jungkook's tone of anger. But still, he seemed to get the point then.

"Just go.. please," Jungkook said, this time in a hushed tone.

Yoongi nodded and started to back up. "Okay."

Jungkook swivelled back and shoved his face into his conjested locker. He felt the first drop of tears hit his cheek and he quickly wiped it off.

Why was he crying? Was it because Taehyung embarrassed him a while ago? Did Namjoon's scolding because of his stupid, cheap shampoo get to him that much? Or was it because of his history assignment which he had failed to do? He was getting so fed up with his life.

"Jin hyung," Jungkook choked out silently. He wished there was a way he could relive the previous day with Jin, forever. Why was his emotions crashing up on him all at once?

He felt down, reluctant towards living that day. He was in a really foul mood and needed to feel better, if not he was certain to snap at everyone who would speak to him that day, which he really didn't want to do.

Why wasn't Jin calling him? Jungkook banged against his locker, causing a few eyes steer towards his direction.

It was frustrating. He was used to waking up to Jin's texts or his calls, and the first time ever he hadn't heard from Jin, it felt like he wasn't fully awake. Like it was a dream and he would wake up to his phone vibrating or ringing.

Jungkook got fed up as he shut his locker, feeling for his phone in his uniform trousers. He was going to try calling Jin until he picked up.

He found himself at the rooftop of the 3 storey building where he was sure to get a reasonable amount of network unlike other parts of the school where the network was poor.

Taking a sit by the wall, where sunlight hadn't gotten to, Jungkook got out his phone and began to dial Jin's number.

Impatient and eager to hear Jin's voice, Jungkook's feet continued to tap against the concrete floor, ceremoniously. He was losing it, slowly. But what do you expect? Jin was his only friend and it was natural to want to hear from your friend at every point of the day, right?

14 times Jungkook dialled Jin's number but no answer. He sent a couple of text messages, no reply. If Jin was in class and was unable to answer calls, at least he would reply his texts. But he wasn't even trying to give any feedback.

Jin couldn't be tired of him, could he? Maybe Jin hated their time together the previous day. Maybe Jungkook had done something to anger him. Had he rudely imposed by asking to go there? Was that why he hadn't wanted him to visit his dorm in the first place?

Jungkook shook his head, vanishing his crazy thoughts. Jin wasn't that kind of person to get rid of him like that. He knew Jin liked him. Plus his heart was starting to hurt at the thought of Jin never wanting to see him again. It had to be something else. Jin was probably very busy.

Jungkook rested his head against the wall, eyes shut as he took deep breaths to calm his racing heart, when he heard the door slam against the wall, followed by heavy, disorganized footsteps and loud grunting and moanings.

Furrowing his brows in puzzlement, Jungkook leaned away from the wall to see past the large pillar blocking the view of the door. His heart sank, and his heart broke all over again as he watched Taehyung suck faces with a girl.

"Fuck! I love you!" Taehyung groaned as he pressed his lips back to hers, grabbing her right leg and wrapping it around his waist.

Love? He loved her? He never said those words to Jungkook. He had said those words didn't mean anything to him.

Jungkook felt the pain build up in his throat, causing a large lump to form there. His eyes brimmed with tears as he could barely tear his concentration away from the both of them.

He wanted to look away. He tried to tear his eyes away. He begged for his body to run out of that scene but his body remained still, betraying him, twisting the knife deeper in his heart.

Was he so unlovable?

All along he had always told himself, no one could ever truly love him. But he didn't actually think it would be this hurtful confirming it. His heart was on fire. He felt it jab against his chest endlessly like a constant hammering of nail into a wood.

He wanted to go over and shove both their bodies as far apart as humanly possible. He wanted to scream so loud both of them would go deaf. He wanted to slap the lights out of Taehyung and punch the girl into the next week. But he couldn't.

His eyes were betraying him, let alone his strength or courage.

When his body finally moved, it was a slow, frail movement. His legs scraped against the floor as he headed for the door, causing Taehyung and the girl to snap their heads to his direction.

Jungkook paused, knowing they could both see him. He couldn't look at them but could imagine the look on Taehyung's face.

"Yeri, can we continue later?"

Taehyung was a bastard. Jungkook wished he could say it to him at that time.

The girl fixed her open buttons before scurrying off.

Taehyung fixed his pants and let out a heavy breath.

"You broke up with me. What did you expect me to have done?" Taehyung spoke.

Jungkook bit down on his lips.

"You didn't want to- to be with me. And I'm not ready begging anyone for something I know I can get whenever I want. Would you have liked if I remained with you and cheated on you? Is that what you would have liked? I'm only being fair okay?"

If this was the definition of fair, Jungkook never wanted fairness in his life.

"I don't know what you want from me. You were the one who broke up with me over something so petty. I mean what teenager runs away from sex like this especially when they have someone as hot and experienced as I am? I was patient with you okay? I waited, I thought you would open up to me sooner and trust me. But you're so reserved. A-and I don't get it. Have you tried to imagine why none of your exs last with you? You're too uptight. And now, you're going around with that puppy look and trying to make me feel guilty. Well, I'm not. I don't feel guilty, not one bit. I'm 17 years old, I can fool around as much as I want. That's not your deal so just end this okay. Don't expect me to apologize whenever you see me in this position again, Jungkook. I won't. If you're not ready to have sex, then don't date anyone until you're ready, cos not everyone is like you. They'll always ask you for it."

As Taehyung's footsteps faded away into the building, Jungkook's emotion came crashing like a big ol truck into a building. His legs wobbled sending his to the ground, as Taehyung's speech continued to repeat his head like a song on replay.

Was he the one at fault?

Were all his heartbreaks because he was foolishly searching for something he could never find?

Jungkook's mouth trembled as tears washed down his face. Hugging his legs to his chest, Jungkook poured out his hurt into the air, crying and sobbing heavily.

He wished he had someone by his side at that moment, to hug him in their warm embrace. Someone that would tell him that everything was going to be fine and that they would be there for him. He needed comforting, he felt so alone.
