Jin's hands vibrated against the steering wheel. Cold shivers ran down his spine as his mind tried to wrap around the thought that Jungkook's life was in danger.

"Young master."

The voice of his father's most trusted worker called bringing him from his thoughts. His eyes briefly moved to his phone that was laying on the passenger seat.

"Hello?"

"You're different, hyung. Sometimes I think you're not real and I'm the only one that can see you."

"Uncle Kim—" Jin's voice shook, his breathing hitched.

"Really, hyung. I know you love me so much but you can stop crying now. It's not like I'm breaking up with you. It's alright, okay? Your Choco Kookie is here."

The first-day Jungkook had visited his dorm. Jin remembered that day, every moment of it, like the back of his hand. He had been happy. Just being with Jungkook, hearing his voice, watching his beautiful face, he had never felt that way before. Jungkook had been cheerful, he had forgotten all about his past relationship traumas and had given his whole attention to Jin, opened his heart and had trusted Jin to make him happy.

"Jin, are you okay?"

The text message Jungkook had sent to him that day after he had gone home was like a song to Jin. He had memorized it and as guilt choked him, he brain read it loud and clear to him.

Thank you for today, hyung. You really made me happy. I was so sad when I left. I miss you already. I'll dream of you and me together in your dorm room as roommates, isn't that a good dream? Have a good night, Jin hyung.

He had promised himself never to make Jungkook cry or hurt him. He had sworn never to be like the rest, to be different. It had seemed so easy back then. Jungkook had deserved to keep the smile he always had around Jin, he deserved to be appreciated and loved to the fullest, and Jin had promised to do just that.

He had slowly fallen in love with Jungkook in a bid to keep him happy, to keep him distracted but that love had caused Jungkook's happiness. And despite how much Jin possessed or how good his heart was, he had failed to keep Jungkook happy. He had, in fact, become the man he had prayed not to be.

Jungkook's bloodshot, red eyes flashed in his head. "You make me a fool, hyung. You deceived me."

"Seokjin."

Jin clasped his hand over his quivering lips.

"I love you, hyung. I love you so much."

Jin had failed. He had failed Jungkook. He had hurt him. He had broken his heart. He had betrayed him.

"You're perfect, Jin. You're all I ever wanted, and you're right here."

He should have returned the feelings. He was supposed to have immediately ended things with Hoseok. He should have spared Jungkook the pain. He had caused him so much pain, and Jungkook had deserved more.

"I won't bother you anymore. I promise."

His sobs bounced about in the car. His heart broke all over again. All he had wanted was to make everyone happy. It hadn't been his intention to hurt anyone, especially not Jungkook.

"I'm sorry!" He screamed.

"Kim Seokjin. Where are you now?" The man on the phone asked.

Jin shook his head. He gripped the wheels tighter, sniffing.

"Come alone, I dare you not to," Taehyung's voice threatened. Jin shut his eyes, pulling in all his strength, courage and bravery his father had thought him.

When he opened his eyes he had stopped crying. His wet eyes focused on the road and his heart raced. He knew had to do this on his own if wanted to save Jungkook, even if he was scared. He didn't want to die. He didn't want Jungkook to die either. But if going alone meant one of them had to stay alive, he hoped it would be Jungkook.

"Son."

"I'm sorry, Uncle. Wrong dial."

---

"That fucking son of a bitch," Jimin huffed as he pulled himself into a sitting position.

Jungkook shook his head. "I can't believe Taehyung would do this to me. Why would he do this?"

"Can you for one fucking second not talk about people being horrible towards you? Who cares why Taehyung did it? We're trying to figure out how to leave this shithole. It's life, okay? People you trust fuck you over for whatever selfish reason they have. No one suspected that clown but it's just who he is, a manipulative, cunning, lying son of a bitch. And I'll fucking kill him!"

Jungkook knew Jimin was right. It was high time he stopped being shocked about people turning around and becoming the opposite of whom he had judged them to be. It was time he understood this thing called life and how it worked. Not everything was always as it seemed, especially not Taehyung who had turned out to be exactly as Jimin described him— a manipulative, cunning, lying son of a bitch.

"You're right." He nodded. "But how do we get out of here? We're a tied."

Jimin licked his dry lips. "Um..." His eyes roamed the room as he tried to figure out a plan. There was no much option as the room was very much empty besides the piece of mattress tossed against the wall. "I have a pen in my back pocket."

"Okay, but how do you use it to cut this thick ass rope!?"

"We can use it as a weapon."

Jungkook rolled his eyes. "A weapon is kind of useless when you're tied, genius."

"Fuck! This is all your fault! We're all in this mess because of you, Jungkook!"

"Me?! I'm a victim of this as much as you are! Why would you blame me?! I was the one who got bullied! I was the one who got mocked, deceived, lied to! I was the one who trusted! All I did was to give my heart out, okay!? That was the only crime I committed and you know what, I'm sorry!"

Jungkook pulled his hands hard, trying to separate them. He wanted to break the rope loose and get the hell away from everyone. He should be the one receiving an apology, he should be the one yelling at the others. Not the other way around.

"Jungkook, look, I'm sorry. It's not your fault, okay? It's not your fault at all. It's just, I want all of these to end. I just want my life to go back to normal."

Jungkook looked over at Jimin. Jimin's face held dejection, he too was tired of it all. Jungkook understood how he felt. "It will. Everything will be okay." Although he wasn't sure about his words, he just had to say it because he too needed to hear it.

Jungkook search for a way out continued. He reached his fingers up to undo the rope but they could only go so far and barely scrapped the material of the thick rope.

"Hey, " He called Jimin. "Let's back each other and try to undo the ropes, okay?" He said.

Jimin nodded and inched towards him. But they had only touched feet when the door jiggled from outside, causing them to swivel to face the door.

The door opened and a shudder twisted up Jungkook's back when he saw Taehyung walk in, still fully dressed in his school uniform like had been in school that morning and every school day before then.

The sight was hard to process. It was had to process that it had really been Taehyung behind all his heartache and despair.

"Hi," Taehyung said as casually as he would on a normal day if they were in school. But the problem was, they weren't in school, they had been kidnapped by him. So, it was very creepy.

"You little fucker," Jimin spat.

Taehyung ignored Jimin and stepped towards Jungkook, squatting in front of him. "Hey, Kook. You don't seem so excited to see me."

"Why are you doing this?" Jungkook asked calmly, pleadingly.

"Can't you tell by now? He's psychotic!" Jimin yelled.

Taehyung's lips twitched in a smile. He got to his feet and walked to Jimin. He let out a sigh. "I wasn't going to make you suffer like Yoongi," He said, before shoving the under of his shoes into Jimin's face, knocking Jimin against the floor.

"Jimin!" Jungkook cried in a horrified scream as Jimin fell backward and instantly went still.

"Shut up, Kook," Taehyung said. "That kick isn't going to kill him."

"Taehyung, why are you doing this? This isn't you."

Taehyung scoffed amusingly. "Don't act like you know me."

"I know you're not this person. I know you're a good guy. I know somewhere inside, the Taehyung that I fell in love with is still there. So, please put a stop to this."

Cocking his head from side to side rhythmically, Taehyung walked towards the mattress that was at the other side of the room. "I see."

"Please."

"Please? Do you know what please means? Hmm... I recall telling you please so many times."

"I'm sorry."

He dragged the mattress to the floor, kicking it in position. "No, you're not. But you will be."

"I didn't do anything. I didn't even know what you did. You gave the screenshots to me, I didn't know about them before. I believed you wouldn't hurt me. So, why are you doing this to me?" Jungkook inquired exasperatedly. He had battled within himself, trying to figure out where he had gone wrong. He wanted to know.

Taehyung stayed quiet, his movements still.

Jungkook was afraid. His heart plummeted into his stomach. He wanted to shut his eyes and open them to find himself in his house, on his bed.

"When I was 8, I was raped."

Jungkook was taken aback by the information, and he was truly sorry that a child had to go through something like that. But why did he have to be tortured because of it? He wasn't the one who raped Taehyung.

"By a man I called daddy." He turned to Jungkook, his lower lip trapped in his teeth. He smiled bitterly. " I was his plaything for 5 years. Every night, morning and day, whenever he felt it, he would bend me over the nearest tabletop and have his way."

Jungkook was downcasted. "I'm sorry you had to go through something like that. I didn't know."

"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't share that achievement with you!"

"That's not what I meant. You didn't have to go through that, and I'm sorry you did. But you don't have to be this person because of it. What your father did was horrible, unforgivable and he deserves to be in the deepest, darkest part of hell. But you're different, Tae. You're a good guy and I know this because when I was with you, you made me happy. So, please, Tae. Please, let's all get out of here and forget this."

Taehyung nodded. "You're right. We should forget all of these." He approached Jungkook still nodding.

Jungkook blinked up at him pleadingly, hands shaking behind him.

Yanking Jungkook to his feet, Taehyung jolted him against his body.  "You have no idea what I want to do to you, Jungkook."

Jungkook squirmed in Taehyung's hold. Pure raw rage morphed his expression. His eyes turned a dark angry shade. "Taehyung," Jungkook gasped. He couldn't recognize the person before him.

"You think you're perfect?" Taehyung grunted.

"No! Never."

Taehyung tugged Jungkook's weirdly bent arm harshly. Pain coursed through Jungkook's back. "Everyday I see you, every time you walk past me, I'm constantly reminded what was stolen from me." His eyes burned with tears. His nostrils flared, his lips quivered. "I didn't have a choice. No one gave it to me! He didn't care that I was a child! He didn't care it was my decision to make when or whom to share my first time with!"

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."

"He was my father! That bastard!" Taehyung screamed. His voice shrilled and cracked, and he cried aloud. "But you have yours, and you shoved it in my face. You called me a slut, you called me a sex freak, you called me an animal. Do you know how it feels to be me?"

Jungkook wanted to, he tried to but he couldn't look away from Taehyung's hurting face. He felt Taehyung's pain, he couldn't relate but he had an idea how Taehyung must be feeling. And he was sorry.

"And you think you can judge me? And you're afraid of fucking. That's hilarious. I didn't even get to be afraid of it!" He sliced the rope around Jungkook's hands and shoved him towards the mattress.

Jungkook stumbled over to the middle of the room. He shook his head at Taehyung, rubbing his hurting wrists. "You're not like him."

Taehyung took slow steps like him. His expression had changed once again. His face held an innocent, apologetic, fragile look. "I cut you lose, don't you want me, Kook? I mean, you even said I made you happy. Do you not want to make me happy too?"

Walking backward one step at a time, Jungkook prayed for an earthquake. He had always seen Taehyung as the normal, perfect looking, straight forward guy. To him, the only problem was that he had been a virgin who wanted to remain one while Taehyung had been otherwise and wanted sex. To Jungkook, if it weren't for that, he and Taehyung would have still had their relationship.

But at that moment, Jungkook saw it wouldn't have been enough. Taehyung would still feel threatened by virgins. He would still feel cheated because he had been.

Jungkook had had the power, the choice. It had been up to him when and to whom he wanted to lose his virginity. As he looked at Taehyung, he hated that status. It had gotten him into that mess in the first place and he wished he was anything but a virgin.

"Is it really what you want? To have me disvirgined? All I did was get angry that you continuously pressured me into having sex even after I told you I didn't want to. That's just my offence, right?" Jungkook asked.

Taehyung shrugged nonchalantly. He didn't care. He was crazy, Jungkook could see it. His pain had changed him, and he was someone totally different. "I guess. You can put it that way." He grinned boyishly as Jungkook, trapping his lower lip in a charming way that had caught Jungkook's heart the first time Taehyung had spoken to him.

"Okay, Tae." Jungkook turned to the mattress, he took a knee on it. His heart thudded in his own ears as he shut his eyes tight. "Do what you want. I won't fight it."
