Jin's gaze was on Jungkook, watching him as he played with his fingers that were stretched on the table from his elbows, his face pulled into a dull expression.

Jungkook wasn't saying anything and neither was Jin. The air was thick and it was obvious Jungkook was thinking about Taehyung amd their breakup.

Jungkook's head snapped up from the disposable cup of Ice Tea they had previously been fixed on and focused on Jin. Jin didn't say anything, instead he repeated his action, lightly kicking Jungkook's leg under the table.

His expression was unreadable and Jungkook couldn't tell what he was thinking. All he did was piercingly watch Jungkook.

Sighing, Jungkook looked down at his overgrown fingernails and was tempted to bite them short. He hated long fingernails.

Why had he foolishly grown them long just because Taehyung had mentioned he liked long finger nails? They were so uncomfortable.

"Hyuuung," Jungkook whined feeling Jin's leg hit his once again.

Jin's eyes averted from Jungkook, looking upwards to the ceiling.

Jungkook's lips tugged upwards a little. Jin was only trying to be a pest.

Feeling Jin go in for another kick, Jungkook pulled his legs backwards, laughing loud.

"Hyung, stop hitting me," He chuckled.

Jin pursed his lips into a thin line, his eyes roaming above Jungkook's head. Then finally he looked at Jungkook.

"Are you hungry? Maybe we should order something."

"Hyung, can we go back to your dorm?"

Jin was caught shocked by Jungkook abrupt suggestion.

"What? Don't you want me to come to your dorm? Or is your roommate going to get mad?" Jungkook asked, nervously, thinking he had probably annoyed Jin.

"No, not that," Jin waved his hands furiously, trying to dismiss Jungkook's silly ideas. "Of course we can go to my dorm. I mean, I don't mind. It's just..."

"What?"

Jungkook had to tilt his head lower to get a glimpse of Jin's slouched head.

"Jin Hyung, we don't have to go if you're so uncomfortable with the idea. I was only suggeesting."

Jin brought his head up, looked at Jungkook for a brief second before shutting his eyes and shaking his head. "Not that." His face was blushing red. "It's just, I've never had anyone over before. So, it's just..." Jin's voice trailed off.

"Oh," Jungkook said, in relief as a smile formed on his lips. His eyes glimmered a certain shine as he studied Jin's face. He was blushing and looked very embarrassed.

"B-but let's go, yeah?" Jin picked his phone and got to his feet, touching his pockets for his wallet. "How much is that?" He pointed at Jungkook's half empty cup of Ice Tea.

"2,000W," Jungkook answered. He too had gotten to his feet.

Jin counted the money and placed it under the yellow custard bottle so it wouldn't get blown away.

As the two of them headed out, Jungkook's eyes constantly glanced over at Jin's face. He looked a little tensed and Jungkook didn't know if he was nervous of having him over or if he didn't want to have him over and was too nice to tell him that.

"You're not going to get into any trouble for not being in school, right?" Jin spoke as the two got settled in the bus.

"I called to inform my class teacher that I was sick. I'm not in any trouble, hyung."

Jin nodded, and he let his eyes drift outside the window as they blurred past storey buildings and headed into the city were his school was located.

"We'll stop at the grocery store to pick up some foodstuff. Is that okay with you, Kookie?"

Jungkook nodded, happy that Jin had called him Kookie meaning he was not as nervous as before.

"Hyung, do you take the bus from your dorm to your classes?"

"My dorm is really close to my faculty, so I just walk. Around 10 minutes walk."

Jungkook nodded in fascination. "I want to come here next year, hyung. Do you think I should?"

Jin smiled widely, earning a soft chuckle from Jungkook. He was getting happier and happier seeing Jin's going back to his normal self. "Having my choco kookie here would be a dream come true."

"Really, hyung?"

Jin nodded. "But you should only come if you want to, not because of me, you know?"

"Well, everyone has their motivation for doing something. Can't you be my motivation?"

Jin nibbled on his lower lip, trying to bite back his smile. He didn't say anything and just looked straight ahead.

"Eh? Answer me," Jungkook urged teasingly nudging his shoulder into Jin's side. "Can't you be my motivation?"

Jin broke into chuckles as Jungkook nudged his sides again.

"Jin-ah," Jungkook sang, glancing at Jin with his side eyes.

"Jin-ah?" Jin turned to Jungkook with an obvious amused look. He was so bad at pretending and couldn't even pretend to be mad at Jungkook referring to him without adding 'hyung'. "Yah, Kookie, have you forgotten I'm your hyung?"

Jungkook shrugged stubbornly and looked away.

"Yah," Jin called, stubbing his index finger into Jungkook's thigh. He had actually liked it when Jungkook had called him Jin-ah.

"Hmph!" Jungkook didn't move from his position.

"Hmph? Ah, really? I see," Jin nodded, smiling surprisingly. "We'll see who'll come begging the other. Hmph!"

Both boys didn't say any other words, as they stubbornly looked the opposite directions, a permanent smile etched on their faces. Once, Jungkook's body brushed against Jin's, they both scooted away creating an obviois gap between them.

The bus soon stopped and Jin got up and started to get down. Jungkook followed him.

Jungkook could see the University gate from the bus stop so he walked ahead of Jin, making sure to hold his head high as if to show he didn't need any help finding his way.

Jungkook would look back occasionally and see the amused look on Jin's face as he strolled behind him, but Jin would miserably fail as he would rush to hide the amused look.

It was hilarious for the both of them to act that way. Jungkook didn't know why they were having a fake fight but he was enjoying it and didn't choose to make up with Jin soon.

Jungkook heard a little cough from behind and when he turned he found Jin had turned to the right and was walking into a mini mart .

Jungkook sharply swiveled and followed into the mini mart. He stood by the door and watched as Jin made quick stops to few isles before going to pay. Once Jin was done, he walked past Jungkook, whistling with his eyes fixed up. Jungkook gave a fake cough, scratching behind his neck as Jin walked past but immediately followed Jin outside.

His eyes were smiling as he watched Jin walk ahead of him with two hands holding grocery bags. One leg flinging after the other coordinatedly yet subconsciously.

Jungkook was seeing a walking angel; one so beautiful and kind; one he was too lucky to have by his side; one that made him very happy. His smile slowly disappeared from his lips, but yet he was unlucky. Unlucky that Jin only saw him as a younger brother. Unlucky he was stuck dating jerks. Unlucky that Jin wasn't going to always be there for him.

At that moment, Jungkook couldn't imagine his life without Jin. It was a period of life he had suffered misery and excess hurt, and if that period came, he wasn't sure if survival was an option for him.

Jin snapped his head backwards in a quick glance towards Jungkook, but it turned fixed when he saw the gloom expression on Jungkook's face.

Jungkook kicked out of his subconscious when he saw Jin's face was pulled into a worried scowl, he was puzzled about the look for a tad but it didn't take long for him to realise he was probably the reason.

"You know what?" Jin asked, walking over to Jungkook in 3 long strides. "You're so stubborn, Kookie." He crossed his hands over his chest. "Just admit you miss me."

Jungkook's smile slowly crept back on.

"Eh?"

"You're right, hyung. I miss you."

Jin smiled. "Me too. Phew," He chuckled, his whole chest area vibrating. "It's so hard pretending to be mad at you."

Jungkook laughed too. "I know right? I didn't think I was such a bad actor until today."

"You're so bad at acting. You're even crying. Here, let me," Jin said and started to fake wipe tears from under Jungkook's eyes.

"You too, hyung," Jungkook grabbed Jin's hands and started to imitate his gestures of fake wiping Jin's tears.

"Yah, who's crying?" Jin frowned.

"Really, hyung. I know you love me so much but you can stop crying now. It's not like I'm breaking up with you. It's alright, okay? Choco kookie is here."

Jin decided to play along and proceeded to fake sob. "Don't leave me, my chocolate kookie. I love you so very much and just being apart from you hurts." Jin bawled.

Jungkook was amazed at Jin's awesome acting skills. For some reasons, imagining Jin actually crying made him feel sad. He would never make Jin sad. He wanted to always make Jin happy, just like Jin made him happy.

Jungkook finally spoke after a short while, a soft smile forming on his lips. "It's okay, hyung. I won't leave you, okay? Take my hand. I'm here."

Jin took Jungkook's hand and held unto it firmly.

He laughed at their childishness. "Let's go."

Jungkook nodded.

As they walked to Jin's dorm, Jungkook didn't let go of Jin's hand. Deep down, a little part of him wanted Jin's words to be true.

For Jin to love him.
