"You did it, didn't you?"

Jimin raised his head from the Stephen King novel he was holding atop his crossed leg, and looked up to find Min Yoongi glaring down at him.

Jimin sighed, looking back down at his book. "Excuse me?"

"Don't play dumb," Yoongi scoffed.

"What in God's name are you talking about?"

"The post! The one on Facebook about Jungkook! You did it, I know it!"

Jimin stopped skimming through the page of the book. His eyes darted to the side of the recently mowed grass of the school's field.

"Get lost, Yoongi."

"I'm right, aren't I?" Yoongi's lips lifted at one corner.

"I'm not kidding." Jimin's head was still lowered. He refused to look up, to meet Yoongi's gaze. "Get lost."

Yoongi inched closer, standing directly in front of Jimin.

"What exactly did you gain by doing this? I mean, I know you're an attention seeking four eyes imbecile, but you had to embarrass Jungkook. For real," yoongi scoffed a laugh, shaking his head. "Are you so cruel?"

Jimin's grip on the book tightened. His heart pounded furiously His eyes remained unblinking on the black and white in his hands.

"You might be a fucking nerd but there's a thick gap between you and intelligence. Can't you realise that Jungkook doesn't want you? Get the hint, loser You're bad news, my man! Stay the hell away from Jungkook," Yoongi spat, his voice getting vile and angrier with each word.

"I didn't do it," Jimin murmured through gritted teeth.

"Yes, you did. You're a thirsty, extremely desperate, fucking immature, stupidly egotistic and an unintelligent narcissist."

Slamming the book down on the bench, Jimin rose to his feet, meeting Yoongi's eyes. His breathing grew harder, his fists clenched and his eyes intensified.

"Don't accuse me of what I didn't do," Jimin warned through gritted teeth.

Inching closer, Yoongi smirked smugly. "And what would you do if I did? Betrayer."

Like the speed of light, Jimin shoved Yoongi far back, kicking him in the chest.

Yoongi collapsed to the floor with a groan. Before he could regain himself from the fall, Jimin was ontop of him sending punches to his face.

Jimin's fist collided with every part if Yoongi's head. All his pent up anger towards Yoongi was released in a series of furious blows. Even when his fists began to hurt, Jimin didn't stop. Instead, he started to slap Yoongi's face.

"You pathetic bastard!" Jimin yelled as he gripped Yoongi's collars in both hands, lifting him to face him. "What the fuck is your problem?"

Blood ran from Yoongi's nose, his busted lips sipping blood from several cuts. He looked like someone that had just been mobbed. But a person under a mob attack would usually cry or beg or not push the buttons of the attacker.

But Yoongi was smirking, laughing crazily.

Jimin's jaw clenched. His eyes burned through Yoongi's droopy yet daring eyes.

"What's funny?"

Yoongi's breathing hitched. He wiped the dripping blood from his nose, still smiling. "You're all macho at the mention of betraying Jungkook, which is true, since you did betray him-"

"Are you asking to-"

"If you had showed this dark side of you when your father had been killed by gang members, maybe he'd still be here today."

The punches Jimin sent this time were aimed to hurt Yoongi more than even Jimin wanted. They were swift, furious, merciless. Saliva left Jimin's mouth as he let out scream after screams with each punch he sent to Yoongi.

"Jimin! Stop!"

The foot steps stomping on the floor, running towards the field did not stop Jimin from hitting Yoongi.

When two hands scooped him up from both sides, Jimin kicked and wriggled in the hands of Yoongi's saviours.

"Leave me alone!" Jimin fought, wanting to inflict more wounds on Yoongi.

"Jimin, stop!"

"No, I'm going to-"

"He's fucking unconscious, man! Keep still!"

The words were enough to humble Jimin who stopped thrashing around. He looked down at Yoongi's still body laying on the grass.

One boy crouched to the floor and tapped Yoongi who didn't move. His arms were sprawled on the floor carelessly like a corpse.

"Is he.... dead?" Another student asked.

The student next to Yoongi leaned down and placed his ear on Yoongi's chest. "No." He leaned away. "He's just unconscious."

Jimin shook his head. "That's not true! He's lying! He was just laughing at me seconds ago! I swear down! He's awake! Wait, let me-" Jimin rushed to jolt Yoongi out of his pretend unconsciousness but was shoved back by the student who was holding him.

"Take a chill pill, man! You did this! Don't you feel any remorse!?" The student asked angrily. "You're lucky if you don't get expelled for this."

There Jimin realised what was at stake. What he had done.

He watched in horror as the students hurriedly carried Yoongi away from the field, leaving a group of murmuring reviling spectators.

"That's so evil."

"I can't believe he could do this."

"He's so quiet. Yet so cruel."

Jimin was suspended indefinitely.

Principal Li had asked him to clear out his locker in the next 15 minutes and must be out of the school's premises before lunch break was over.

As Jimin walked back yo his locker, he couldn't believe what he had done. He was so embarrassed and could barely look up to meet the judging gazes of the students. He knew Yoongi had been pretending when he had lay motionless back in the fields. He knew too well that he had fucked up, but what he regretted more than anything was that he had fallen into Yoongi's trap. He had been a pawn in Yoongi's hands and had let the evil midget play him into getting himself suspended.

The more Jimin thought about it, the more confused he got. On a normal day, he couldn't take Yoongi down like that. Yoongi was no John Cena but he would have fought back. But the dude had done nothing. He had received the blows willingly, he had triggered Jimin to continue to hit him. Yoongi had done it on purpose.

After collecting his things, Jimin made his way to the infirmary to pay Yoongi a visit. The school nurse was just coming out of the room. He stood to the side with his head lowered as she walked past. He proceeded to the door and pushed it open. Yoongi lay on a bed at the other end if the room, smiling up at the ceiling.

Jimin watched him. He was just like a maniac.

"Enjoying the view, betrayer?" Yoongi asked, still staring up at the ceiling.

"Don't call me that."

Jimin approached the bed.

"Anyways, why are you here? Principal Li gave you 15 minutes." He brought his phone up and powered the screen which he showed to Jimin. "You have 3 minutes."

"What's your plan, Yoongi?" Jimin inquired.

"What plan?" Yoongi asked, propping himself to the side so he was resting on his elbow.

"You're trying to get Jungkook to pity you.".

"What the hell are you talking about? You were the one who hit me. You were the one who lost their freaking mind."

"You pushed me!"

"I didn't touch you!"

"Look who's intelligent. I didn't mean literally. You triggered my anger. You got me suspended! You did it on purpose!"

"All I said was the truth. You're guilty that's what triggered your anger, it's your guilt choking you!"

Jimin's head snapped back in frustration. "I didn't do it! Stop saying that!"

"Then who did it!?"

"How the hell am I supposed to know!? You're the all-knowing freak!"

Yoongi shot up from the bed and stood challengingly in front of Jimin. "Don't call me a freak!"

"Don't call me a betrayer either!"

Sighing, Yoongi shut his eyes. "Just get out, Jimin."

Jimin shook his head, eyes darting on Yoongi's annoying bruised face. He opened his mouth to speak when the door opened. The two boys turned towards the door.

"What's going on?" Jungkook asked, his eyes darting from Yoongi to Jimin.

Jimin ran his hand through his hair, letting out a heavy breath.

"What are you doing here, Jimin?" Jungkook walked further into the room.

"Jungkook, I..." Jimin mouth hung speechlessly. He was at loss for what to say.

"Yoongi, is he bothering you?"

"Jungkook, please-"

"Kook, I'm fine," Yoongi said, his voice deceptively mellow.

"Please leave," Jungkook said, directly at Jimin. "You did this to him, the least you can do is let him recover, right?"

Jimin shook his head. "I didn't mean it. I'm not a monster."

"No, you did." Jungkook nodded. "You did mean to do it."

"Yoongi's a pretender, Jungkook. You don't just see it."

"And you're not?" Jungkook retorted. "You claimed you loved me. You acted like a saint in front of me, but you cheated behind my back. Doesn't that make you a pretender? Go, Jimin. Or I'm calling Principal Li."

Jimin felt defeated. Yoongi had won. "Okay."

He turned and left the room. He could almost imagine Yoongi's mocking smirk. He felt stupid. He shouldn't have hit Yoongi. But at the same time he wished he had pummeled Yoongi more than he had done.

"You know, I wanted to believe you."

Jimin had not heard the sound of the door open after he had shut it behind him, but Jungkook's voice was enough to have him stop walking down the hallway.

"Only 3 persons in this school knew my secret. It was just the three of you; Taehyung, Yoongi and you. There was no one else. And it had to be you?"

Jimin turned to face Jungkook's hurt drenched face. "I swear down, I didn't do it. I'm not as crazy as he is!"

"You wouldn't have hit him if you weren't guilty!"

"I'm not guilty that's why I hit him! Because he manipulating you I want to hit him even more!"

Jungkook scoffed, scratching his brow. "You know what, Jimin?" He shoved his hands him his pockets, shaking his head. "I'm glad you're suspended. I won't have to see someone as cruel and as heartless as you are."

With that Jungkook turned around and walked back to the infirmary.

Jimin let out a shaky breath, clutching unto the straps of his heavy bag. His eyes brimmed with tears. Taking off his glasses, he wiped his eyes before the tears fell.

Jungkook was never going to see the good in him no matter hoe hard he tried. He messed up once when he cheated on Jungkook, he had regretted it and had promised himself to be loyal to whomever he dated in the future. He had wanted to show it to Jungkook that he was changed, that he could love sincerely and be better. But there was no way when Jungkook never gave him a chance.

So, he was done. Done feeling guilty for a mistake he made. Done trying to prove himself right to someone who wasn't ready to see him for who he was really trying to be. Done chasing Jungkook.

As Jimin walked out of the school building, he knew he was undeniably in big trouble at home but he felt relieved he was suspended. He hoped truly to use the opportunity of being away to forget everything about Jungkook because it just wasn't worth any of the stress.

Do you think Jimin really did it? And was Yoongi pretending like Jimin had accused? Tell me what you think.
