Monday morning came faster than Jungkook could snap his fingers.
For the first time in a really long time, he had been excited to go to school.
By 7:30, he had already dressed up and was downstairs eating cereal for breakfast. He wanted to experience what it felt like to have a normal school day with no extracurricular stress activities like panicking or crying in the bathroom stall.
For the first time, the only problem he would have to worry about would be probably failing a question or two on a test.
Before leaving for school, he excitedly sent a text message to Jin wishing him a wonderful day too.
The hallway in school had just began to fill up when he entered the building. Smiling from ear to ear, Jungkook sauntered to his locker, putting in his lock.
The locker clicked open and he opened it. An envelope glidded off and floated to the floor. Jungkook pranced about trying to catch it before it hit the floor, but being bad at catching things, the envelope glided to the middle of the hallway.
Jungkook dived for it, just as an emo girl in all black and thick eyeliners stepped over it. She swiveled, walking backwards.
"Mhm, a love letter," She teased, chuckling lowly before turning around and strolling off.
"No, no, it's not!" Jungkook waved frantically, turning red in his face. He snatched the paper, walking back to his locker, shaking his head.
Who put that there?!
He shoved the paper back in his locker before anyone else would see it and tease him. It was too early in the morning and in his good mood to be embarrassed.
Jungkook sorted out his books for his classes, still eyeing the envelope. It was purple colored, and smelt exceptional.
Jungkook wanted to leave it there, but was too eager to see whom it was from. Hopefully, it was neither from Jimin or Yoongi. He didn't want to receive letters from either of them.
Maybe it was from Jin hyung! Jungkook thought, immediately laughing at how low the possibilities were. If only Jin were a few years younger and attended his high school, things would have been mucj better and easier.
Jungkook bit down on his lip, thoughts of Jin in high school flooded his memory. How had Jin been back then? Had he been just as sweet and kind? Was he the type that stood up for weak students? Oh! Maybe he was the nerdy type, always on his own, observing but not saying anything.
Jungkook giggled.
He couldn't even imagine Jin as a nerd. Jin had so much style to have been a nerd, or a loner. He must have been Mr. Popular, just like Taehyung. Girls and guys must have chased after him, stalking him to his home.
Jungkook jumped when a finger prodded his shoulder. He swiveled to find Yoongi looking at him.
"Oh," He sighed, then smiled at him. "Yoongi. Hi."
"What's up?" Yoongi nodded at him. "What's so funny?"
"Mh?"
"I mean," Yoongi's eyes danced around the hallway, as he shoved his left hand in his pocket using the right to support his full weight against the locker. "You were laughing about something."
Jungkook's inquisitive look shifted. He bit his lower lip trying to contain his threatening smile. His cheeks hurt from the amount of blood rushing up there.
He shook his head. "It's nothing."
Yoongi raised a brow. "Sure?"
Jungkook nodded, "It wasn't even that funny," He mumbled, sniffing and looking away.
Yoongi tilted his head to the side, eyeing Jungkook.
"What's that?" Jungkook asked, nodding at the envelope in Yoongi's hand, much similar to the one he had got. Only, Yoongi's was red with white flying hearts.
"Nothing," Yoongi scrunched it up and tossed it in the bin opposite Jungkook's locker. He looked down at his feet, obviously very uneasy.
Jungkook studied his behavior ignorantly then gasped in realization. He rushed to the bin.
"What are you doing?" Yoongi eyed him.
Jungkook picked the envelope, blowing off whatever dust or dirt it must have gathered from it's short stay in the bin.
"Jungkook, what are you doing?" Yoongi asked again.
Jungkook stepped back to his locker. "Yoongi, this is a love letter."
Yoongi rolled his eyes. "Toss it back in the bin," He replied tiredly.
"Come on. Someone put in all of their emotions in this! And you haven't even opened it."
"What's the point?" He shrugged. "It's always the same thing."
Jungkook's eyes popped. "You've been receiving this? For how long?"
"It doesn't matter. I don't feel anything for whomever it is. I really don't, I swear." He said, pleadingly as if to justify himself Jungkook.
"But still you should keep it. It's rude to toss someone's feelings aside like it's nothing."
Yoongi stood silent for a minute, then took the paper from Jungkook. He folded it in four and pushed it into his backpocket. Then faced Jungkook, "Happy?"
Jungkook smiled sweetly at him. "It's better."
Yoongi nodded, then mumbled something under his breath like a kid.
Jungkook giggled at his childish behavior. He grabbed onto Yoongi's cheeks, squishing it softly. "You're such a big baby, Yoongi."
He felt free with Yoongi, like they had been best friends all their lives. Like a few days ago, Yoongi's presence hadn't irritated him.
"Oh, God. Jungkook," Yoongi whined, shutting his eyes but not doing anything to stop Jungkook.
Jungkook soon pulled away, giggling uncontrollably.
Yoongi's expression slowly replaced with a worried one. Jungkook frowned.
"Is everything okay?"
Yoongi hesitated but nodded. "Can I ask something?"
"Sure," Jugkook nodded.
"I know you said you wanted to be friends with me and um.. I respect that, but do you like someone?"
Jungkook was taken aback. He hadn't expected a question like that so soon in their relationship. He felt uncomfortable with the question.
"Why are you asking?" He forced a smile to hide his uneasiness.
Yoongi shook his head.
"Um.. Yeah. There's someone I like," He answered sincerely.
Yoongi's throat bobbed up and down. His eyes stayed fixed on Jungkook momentarily then shifted from Jungkook's face uncomfortably.
"Um.. Who- who is it?" He scratched his forehead still avoiding Jungkook's gaze. A forced smile appeared on his lips. "Is it Jimin?"
"Jungkook!"
Jungkook's head snapped to the side to find Jimin waving him over from down the hallway.
He gave Jimin a smile, then turned to Yoongi while shutting his locker. "I have to go, Yoongi. I'll see you later?"
Yoongi nodded stifly.
Jungkook walked to Jimin who grabbed his hand roughly and pulled him into the Biology lab.
"What?" Jungkook whined as Jimin pulled him in.
Once the door was securely locked, Jimin turned to him, and just looked at him.
Jungkook snatched his hand away and looked around the room. It was empty.
He swallowed, eyeing the door. Jimin was the one he still didn't trust.
"Is there... a problem?" He asked in a low voice, eyeing Jimin suspiciously.
Jimin crossed his hands over his chest, a not so impressed expression plastered on his face.
"Did I do something?" Jungkook asked again.
Jimin narrowed his gaze. "It's Yoongi, isn't it?"
Jungkook furrowed his brows, eyes dancing about in confusion. "What?"
"The person you like. It's that short Iguana, isn't it?"
Jungkook eyed Jimin's own height.
"You too?" Jungkook groaned, looking at Jimin in disbelief.
Jimin frowned. "Me too, what?"
Jungkook sighed. "Yoongi asked me the same question just now."
"He asked if you liked him?" Jimin questioned dumbly.
Jungkook rolled his eyes. "No. He thinks you're the person that I like."
"I'm not?"
Jungkook rolled his eyes.
"Why would he ask you that? I'm not the one you were laughing stupidly with or squishing their face."
Jungkook rolled his eyes.
"Can you stop rolling your eyes?"
Jungkook resisted the urge to do roll his eyes again, but shook his head. "I wasn't laughing stupidly."
"You were like you both were a couple. It's revolting," Jimin groaned irritably.
"Even though, why is it any of your business whom I laugh with?"
Jimin frowned, looking away boredly. "It is my business."
"No, it's not."
"Yes, it is!"
Jungkook frowned this time, eyeing Jimin angrily. "Who the hell are you!?"
"Didn't you say you wanted to be friends!?" Jimin replied in the same snappy tone.
"Not with this disgusting attitude! You're so annoying, Jimin! I thought we could be friends, but you're already pissing me off. And if this is what I have to go through being your friend, then I'm not interested!"
"What the hell have I done!? You're so triggering! You get angry at the slightest thing!"
"Says the jealous idiot! You were the one who assumed I was in love with Yoongi because we were laughing and talking!"
Jimin inhaled sharply. "I'm a jealous idiot because I'm looking out for you!?"
"Yes, you are a jealous idiot, you stalker. You know what, I don't want to be your friend anymore. Also, I don't need anyone looking out for me. Even if I needed a bodyguard it wouldn't be an ignorant lying cheat!"
Jimin looked hurt. "We're still talking about my mistake?"
"Mistake? That was a mistake!?" Jungkook cackled humorlessly. "That wasn't a mistake! That's who you are! All of you! All you care about it sex, sex, sex! You're all hormonal animals! You all let your dicks think for you! You, Taehyung, every single one of you! Pathetic people."
Jimin's eyes darkened, piercing into Jungkook's eyes with laser sharp intensification.
"The only decent person is Yoongi! He's better than all of you. Every one of you broke my heart, except him! He did nothing and I broke up with him, yet I'm not allowed to laugh with him. But I should with you?" Jungkook fired bitterly.
"Why are you reacting this way? Why are you yelling at me!? All I fucking did was ask a simple question!"
Jungkook opened his mouth to talk when the bell rang indicating first period.
Jungkook wiped his face, breathing heavily. "Don't ever talk to me again, Jimin."
Jimin raised his brow in shock as Jungkook stormed off, leaving the room.
As Jungkook stormed off tk his next class, his insides boiled with anger.
Jimin was so amnoying!
The idiot had just ruined his happy mood. Had he known going to Jimin would get to that, he wouldn't have gone to him.
Jungkook stood outside his class for a moment to gather his composure and regain his earlier mood that Jimin had killed.
Breathing in and out one more time for the 5th time, Jungkook nodded that he was ready. He entered the class and walked to his sit quietly.
The teacher walked in just moments after he did causing everyone to settle down for their class.
10 minutes into the class, Jungkook felt his heartbeat normalize, his mood got lighter and he began to enjoy History, his worst subject.
As he listened, he wondered briefly why he hadn't been interested in History prior to that class. It was a really interesting subject and he felt he would actually enjoy it if he paid more attention to it.
A small smile played on his lips as every word the teacher said registered in his brain.
He would have to keep his distance from Jimin. After his attempt at ruining his mood that morning, Jungkook had figured he was okay with one friend: Yoongi. Yoongi was a good person and he felt sorry for not giving him a chance earlier.
A quick surge of regret washed through him. If only he had known, he would have stayed just a moment longer with Yoongi. He might have grown to fall in love with him and not have to go through all the trauma he had been through with Jimin and Taehyung.
Yoongi hadn't deserved what he had done to him.
Jungkook felt bad already and stealthily turned around in his sit to look at Yoongi and see what he was doing.
Yoongi was on his sit, his face was buried in his palm.
Jungkook furrowed his brow. Was he okay? Just like a friend, he automatically felt worry for Yoongi.
Jungkook whipped out his phone to send Yoongi a text.
Unlocking the screen, he was hit by a notification from facebook.
Jungkook frowned. It was unusual. He barely used his facebook and never got tagged in anything.
He looked up briefly to be sure the teacher hadn't seen him.
He tapped on the notification, curiously.
He froze, snapping his head upwards.
Jungkook gulped, daring to look back at his phone. He read the post again which someone had posted and all his classmates, including him, had been tagged on. This time his heart stopped
Guess who the supposed '''''virgin'''"' gay teenage boy afraid of sex in 12th grade is!

Who do you think must have made that post? Tell me if you think you know and why.
