Jungkook brought his knees together, his fingers beating on his laps. His eyes constantly shifted to the door in anticipation for Jin.

It was almost 11 and Jin was yet to show up.

Jungkook had tried contacting him, he had called but was directed to Jin's voice mail. His heart pounded nervously against his chest; half, because he hadn't seen Jin in a while and was really excited; and half, because he was scared Jin might not show up again.

What was keeping him? Jungkook thought, rubbing his hands down the length of his thighs and back up to his waist.

Did he get stuck in traffic? Did something come up? He should have, at least, called.

Jungkook got on his feet and strolled out the cafe. He stuck his hands in his pockets and stared down the road, towards the direction of the city; where Jin was supposed to come from. He stood on his toes to enhance his height so that he could see farther.

Why did Jin give him such hope and make him so excited only to disappoint him? But it was so unlike Jin. He wasn't one to disappoint him. No matter what time of the day Jungkook reached out to Jin, even without notice, Jin always ran to him.

Jungkook got out his phone and dialled Jin's number once more. Again, he was directed to Jin's voicemail.

Jungkook pounded against his lap in frustration. His excitement was going down by the second, and he was getting really weak inside from sadness.

He had missed Jin so much, all he wanted was to be in his embrace for a long time, listening to his heartbeat and enjoying the warmth of his soft body. He wanted to look at that beautiful face that always gave him peace of mind and always assured him that the problem wasn't with him but with the society; that he was a good person and deserved to be loved, despite his fear for sex.

All he wanted was to see him. Couldn't he?

"Excuse me."

Jungkook turned and found a waitress from the cafe holding up his bag to him.

"You left this."

Jungkook took his bag from her. "I didn't leave it. I was coming back. Thank you."

"Oh, I'm sorry. I'll just put it back."

Jungkook shook his head and began to wear his bag. "The person I'm waiting for might not come afterall. I'll just go."

"Don't you want to wait a little longer for them?"

Jungkook nodded. "Yes. He never holds me up so I'll wait a little longer for him."

The girl nodded then walked back in.

Jungkook turned around to face the road and continued to wait a little longer for Jin.

He checked the time constantly just as much ad he checked his phone for notifications from Jin.

Many and crazy thoughts clouded his mind as to why Jin hadn't showed up and the time was already 12. The first thought was that he ditched; he must have found something else, something more relevant than meeting up with a sixteen years old high school student. Maybe hanging out with College students, or playing games with his roommate. Or eating popcorn while watching a movie.

Jungkook shook himself out of that thought. It was so silly. What was he thinking? Jin wasn't like that. He couldn't even imagine Jin doing any of that. If Jin was holding up, it was probably for something out of his control, something that made his phone unavailable.

Jungkook's eyes popped in realization. Did he get robbed!? The possibility was grand! It was becoming rampant and almost everyday, there was news of someone getting robbed! Whomever saw Jin could obviously tell that his Yeezy sneakers were original, and that the stud earrings he wore were pure gold. Or even his rolex wristwatch. Jin was a possible target for robbers who had seen him.

It would be horrible if anyone hurt Jin's feelings.

Oh God! Jungkook gasped, his heart racing. What if they beat Jin up?

Jungkook's breathing became uneasy as he got out his phone and began to diall Jin's number.

He shut his eyes and said a hopeful prayer for Jin to be fine. He couldn't afford for Jin to get hurt, to have a hair on his skin touched.

He cried when the phone went to voicemail again.

Not loosing hope yet, Jungkook began to diall Jin's number again.

"Pick up, pick up, pick up-"

His legs were starting to tremble with fear. The possibility of something bad happening to Jin was beginning to cloud just any minor excuse or reason.

Jungkook felt tears stream his eyes. What was he supposed to do? Where do he find Jin to? He shut his eyes to fight back the tears and brought his hand to wipe his face when he felt a hand go around his waist.

Jungkook yelped in fear but the voice he heard next stopped the scream from escaping his mouth. "Kookie."

Jin.

Jin entwined his hand in front of Jungkook, resting his head on the boy's shoulder.

Jungkook shut his eyes and began to sob in his palm from his earlier panic.

"Kookie, are you crying?" Jin asked, worry lacing his voice.

He turned Jungkook around to look at his face, but Jungkook quickly hid his face in Jin's chest, wrapping his arms around his body.

"Kookie.."

"I was scared," Jungkook cried.

"Why? Did something happen? Did someone say something? Did anyone touch you?"

Jungkook choked out: "I thought something bad had happened to you." He sniffed, crying more. "Your phone wasn't going through for so long and I thought something had happened to you."

Jin was silent for a while, then his hand combed through Jungkook's hair.

"I'm sorry. My phone battery died," Jin explained. "I didn't mean to make you worry. I didn't mean to make you cry, my choco kookie."

Jungkook choked back sobs.

"C'mon, don't cry. It makes me sad seeing you like this."

Jin rocked Jungkook from side to side.

"I've missed seeing you face, and I've dreamt of looking at it for a very long time. But not your crying face. Don't you want me to look at your beautiful face?"

Jungkook's sobs were subsiding drastically. Now, he was certain Jin was fine. He heart was still racing, but not with fear, but with recognition, fondness, with happiness.

The warmth of Jin's embrace sent shivers up Jungkook's spine. He wanted to melt into his hold.

He wanted to crumble under Jin's touch. Jin's hand was resting on his neck, all he had to do was lean up and kiss Jin's lips. That was all he wanted; what he was hungry for.

But he shook of that thought. He couldn't scare Jin away. Not because of his selfish desires. Jin meant a lot to him, and since he had held on that long, he was willing to hold on much longer.

"I miss you, Jin Hyung. I missed you so much I thought I was going to die," He confessed.

He felt Jin kiss the top of his head, while tightening his hold around his body. "Me too, Choco Kookie."

Jungkook sniffed back the snort and nodded against Jin's body.

Jin pulled away and Jungkook stared up at his handsome, peaceful face.

Jin's eyes didn't leave his own. His eyes shone, it was lost in his, almost drowning. It was soft, it was calm, yet it tore and pierced Jungkook's heart.

Jungkook swallowed and looked down. He let out a sigh to calm his racing heart. It was becoming too hard to act normal around Jin. Too darn hard!

He grinned at Jin, shaking himself back to normal. "Let's go in. I was too excited to see you, I didn't eat breakfast."

Jin's eyes widened in realization. "You still haven't eaten?"

"I was waiting for you," Jungkook stuck out his bottom lip, sulking.

"Ah," Jin wrapped his hand around Jungkook's wrist and pulled him into the cafe. "You shouldn't have waited."

"But I don't mind," Jungkook said, just in time for his stomach to growl.

Jin shook his head. "You shouldn't be skipping breakfast. It's not good for your health."

"Says the one who haven't even had his own breakfast."

"Who says I haven't had my breakfast?"

Jungkook halted, causing Jin to stop walking too. He glared at Jin accusingly. "Have you had your breakfast, Jin Hyung?"

Jin gave a nervous boyish grin.

Jungkook gasped. "Hyung."

"I'm just kidding," Jin began to laugh. "I haven't had anything yet."

Jungkook rolled his eyes as they proceeded to the counter.

Jin laughed more at Jungkook's expression. "But still you shouldn't skip breakfast. As a growing kid, you should-"

"Hyung," Jungkook called, causing Jin to look at him. "Please, can you not call me a kid?"

Jin looked apologetic for a moment, then nodded in understanding. "I'm sorry."

Jungkook shook his head, then gave him a nervous smile. "No, no. It's just.. It makes me feel.. weird. And I don't.. I don't want to be a kid to you. It kills so many... possibilities." Jungkook's eyes shifted to the floor as he finished talking.

"I understood," Jin said. "Now, let's order."

Jungkook looked up and was glad to see the cheerful mood had returned.

The waitress that had spoken to him outside stood behind the counter. She flashed him a knowing smile when she saw him, which Jungkook returned.

"Hi," He said to her.

She chuckled. "Hi. Your friend is here?"

Jungkook nodded. "Yeah. Thanks."

She turned to Jin, and pouted at him. "You made him worry a lot. You should buy him a big cold drink."

"Ah, is that so?" Jin's eyes slowly shifted from her to Jungkook. He nodded. "Okay then. Kookie, what drink do you want?"

Jungkook, who had been drowning in embarrassment, looked up. "Mhm?"

"What do you want?" Jin repeated, smiling sweetly at him.

"Uh, Ice Tea," He said.

He was feeling extremely shy at the moment.

"What else?"

He shook his head. "Nothing. I'm okay."

"Kookie, you haven't eaten."

Jungkook shook his head, biting his lips briefly. "No, Hyung, I'm fine."

The waitress flashed him another knowing smile, as if to say she undestood what was happening to him.

She turned to Jin. "Order for him."

Jin looked at Jungkook, then smiled. "Okay then. Give us 2 big burgers, 2 plates of fries, 2 bowls of ramen and 2 large Ice Teas, please."

Jungkook stared at Jin in horror.

"Hyung, this is a lot," Jungkook stated as they carried their food to a booth, 5 minutes later.

Jin shrugged. "I'm hungry and you should eat much."

"Why should I eat much because you're hungry?"

"Cos I imagine you're just as hungry as I am."

"But I'm not." Jungkook complained stubbornly as they slid into the booth Jungkook had earlier occupied, sitting opposite each other.

"Your stomach says otherwise," Jin reminded him of his stomach's earlier cry for food.

"I'm not that hungry."

"You're so stubborn."

"You're so silly," Jungkook retorted before he realised the words left his mouth. He shut his eyes and cussed himself. "Shit."

Jin sniffed, fighting back his laugh. He knew Jungkook had said those words because of how comfortable and stubborn he was. Although he didn't take it as anything - he infact loved the moments when Jungkook would put aside their age difference and treat him like equal - he knew Jungkook would be embarrassed.

"I'm so sorry, Hyung."

"So, I'm silly, huh?" Jin teased.

"Hyung, I don't know why I said that. You're not silly, I'm silly."

Jin chuckled, shaking his head. "I'm kidding, Choco Kookie." He stuffed a fry into his mouth and munched. "Eat."

Jungkook felt relieved of the awkward situation slipping by and began to eat realising he was hungrier than he thought and might eat up the whole food.

"So, what happened while I was away? I got all your texts and I'm sorry I wasn't there."

Jungkook shook his head. "It's okay, Hyung. Things are all better now. Jimin and Yoongi were being really frustrating this week, but we resolved everything yesterday."

Jin raised his brow, sipping from his drink. "How so?"

"Well," Jungkook started, putting down his burger. "I told them that I couldn't go back to either of them, and I prefer if we were friends."

"And they accepted?"

Jungkook nodded. "Though, Yoongi was a little difficult to persuade."

"What did he do?"

Jungkook swallowed the lump that suddenly formed in his throat as he contemplated whether to tell Jin about the kiss or not. In a way he wanted to find out what effect the revelation would have on Jin. That way he could tell if Jin had feelings for him or not.

But then, if Jin did have feelings, Jungkook couldn't bare to hurt him with that confession that he kissed someone. It would hurt Jin, and he didn't want anything hurting him. Also, if Jungkook didn't get the reaction he expected from Jin and realised Jin didn't feel for him, he would be the one getting hurt. So, either way, someone got hurt.

He shook his head. "Um, he was just insisting a lot. But we reached an agreement in the end. And I don't have anything to worry about anymore."

"That's exciting news, Kookie. You can finally be happy."

Jungkook nodded frantically. "I can! I haven't felt this relieved in so long, Hyung."

"Awwn," Jin chuckled. "That makes me happy."

"But Taehyung-"

Jin shook his head. "No, no, no one talks about Taehyung."

Jungkook chukled. "You're right. Let's not talk about him."

"Nope."

Jungkook laughed. "But why not?"

"I don't know. He seemed to have hurt you the most, and hearing his name makes my skin crawl."

"It does?" Jungkook teased. "How does it crawl? Like a snake!?"

Jin rolled his eyes. "Don't tease me."

"Do you want to beat him up for making your choco kookie cry?" Jungkook continued to tease, getting more and more confident. "For hurting him?"

Jin threw a fry in his mouth. His eyes not leaving Jugkook's face.

"Tell me, Jinnie hyung. Don't be shy. Hm, hm." Jungkook batted his lashed at Jin.

Jin abruptly got up and leaned over the table, his hand holding Jungkook down.

Jungkook froze at how close Jin was. He could almost taste Jin's perfume, as his eyes roamed Jin's face; Jin's pink and plump lips, that were ripened and looked sweet.

Jin's eyes roamed Jungkook's face, his jaw clenched. He spoke, "I can take anything from anyone, and I wouldn't care. But if anyone hurts you, I can never forgive that person."

Jungkook's heart thudded in his throat.

Jin's expression changed almost quickly as he flashed a smile, then chuckled and he sat down. "Eat up, Casanova." He joked about Jungkook's teasing and flirting skills.

But Jungkook wasn't taking a joke. He was almost passing out, his heart doing a nonstop backflip.
