Jungkook stormed out of the apartment into the hallway, his feet stomping heavily against the rugged floor.

Holding unto the straps of his bag, he matched passed the rooms until the reached the twin metal door.

He stubbed his pointer finger against the silvery button on the wall and almost immediately the twin doors slid apart, allowing him into the cool, enclosed space of the elevator.

Jungkook rushed in and in the same vein, stubbed his finger against the button to tell the machine he was going to the last floor.

Tapping his foot impatiently on the floor, his eyes searched the small room tirelessly for nothing in particular. Jungkook heard his name from afar making him snap his head upwards towards the direction of the hallway.

"Jungkook! I'm sorry! Please wait!"

Just before the doors closed, Jungkook put up his right hand flashing his middle finger at the person who was running down the hallway to him.

As the door closed, Jungkook let his hands fall to his sides and let a sigh shakily escape his mouth, as he collapsed against the wall.

That was it?

They were done.

Just barely a month after they started dating, it was already over.

The familiar feeling of disappointment washed through him as his head filled with memories of the last month.

He had thought Taehyung would be different. He actually felt the connection with Taehyung and already started to get comfortable with him, but like always- just like Jimin and the others, he would not accept it was a relationship until they had sex.

Sex was the new definition of 'in a relationship'.

Taehyung had been hinting it for days now and Jungkook had ignored it all, but that day he had gone to see Taehyung after school. Taehyung hadn't been in school, his classmates said he was sick so Jungkook had gone to the market after school to buy oranges and banana for his boyfriend, only for Taehyung to initiate sex.

He had even compared Jungkook to his last boyfriend, whom he claimed was always willing to do it whenever and wherever he wanted. He had said they even went on rounds, 3-4 rounds.

Flashback

"Then why don't you go back to that boyfriend who let you sleep with him anytime?"

"Because he was ugly! You're cute, you know? When I'm with you I never want to stop looking at your beautiful face and I always like to introduce you to people as my boyfriend."

Jungkook's heart swelled at Taehyung's words. Maybe he was being uptight. Maybe he could trust Taehyung and let him sleep with him. After all, he liked Taehyung too and Taehyung was by far the hottest guy he had dated. Taehyung might be the one. He hoped he was the one.

Jungkook was willing and as his mouth fell open to tell Taehyung he had reconsidered, that he had been too selfish to deprive him sex all those time and was ready to do it with him, Taehyung's big mouth spoke on.

"You make me proud. Like I won something and want to shove it in people's faces. You know, like a trophy."

He was a trophy? Jungkook's lips started to lift at the sides as his insides repleted with excitement and pride.

He should have stopped there, he had already gotten Jungkook's heart but Taehyung had continued talking.

"Like a boy toy. Cute, sweet, sexy, caring, ready to make love when I-"

"What did you just call me?"

"Kook-"

"Did you just call me a boy toy?" Jungkook's voice rose in disbelief.

Taehyung flashed a nervous smile. "Babe, don't you think it's sexy for me to call you my boy toy?"

"No!"

"Come on, Jungie," Taehyung tried to hold onto his hand but was rejected.

"Don't call me Jungie! And why would I find you calling me a prostitute sexy? What is sexy about being a prostitute? About STDs and HIV!?"

Taehyung rolled his eyes. "We're teenagers, Jungkook. This is the time for us to experiment and make mistakes. Why do you take things too personal?"

"HIV is an irreversible mistake, you goat!"

"Why are you making a big deal out of nothing?!" Taehyung snapped. "Why don't you want to have sex with me!? Do you know how many guys I've turned down just because I'm trying to be loyal to you!? In my last relationship, I had lots of sex and suddenly I'm not getting any. Do you know how hard it is for me!? Like, literally HARD," Taehyung emphasized, gesturing at his lower region." I'm fucking 17, Jungkook! I want to have sex! Lots of it!"

"And I don't want to have sex! At least, not yet!"

"You're so beautiful! Why can't you play around?!"

"Can't I just have one reasonable relationship where my boyfriend isn't a sex starved animal and would just love me unconditionally? No?"

Taehyung scoffed in bitter amusement." You're going to die a loner then."

Taehyung's words hit Jungkook in the middle of his heart and sliced his nerves. "Fuck you, Taehyung."

Jungkook went to snatch his schoolbag from the couch.

"Are you serious?" Taehyung swiveled, his eyes following Jungkook.

"Don't you ever call me again, you sex freak!" Jungkook glared at Taehyung. His eyes angrily roaming up and down Taehyung's body as he clutched to his schoolbag straps.

The one? Yeah right. Jungkook tagged Taehyung and 4 others in his foolish assumption.

"Jungkook-"

Jungkook walked away, brushing past Taehyung who had tried to grab his wrist but he was too fast to move farther from him before storming out.

End Of Flashback

Jungkook ran a hand down his face, then pressed his palms into his eyes so the tears would not touch his cheeks- to push back the tears, stop them from falling.

Barely 2 months after Jimin had broken his heart.

Just like Taehyung, he had thought Jimin was the one when they had dated. In fact, he had liked Jimin more than any other person he had dated. He could have tagged what he had felt for Jimin to be love- maybe he was even crazy for Jimin then.

Saying someone was sweet was an understatement to describe Jimin. He had been an Angel. He was beautiful both inside and outside, and unlike most nerds Jungkook knew especially from those in his school, Jimin was very good looking. Too good looking to be a nerd in big square rimmed glasses, shirts and slacks, that were always folded a few inches above his ankles.

Jimin made Jungkook feel like the only boy in the world, like the most precious -most beautiful person alive. He would occasionally and randomly pepper kisses all over Jungkook's face, hold his hand in public, tie Jungkook's loose shoelace, bring an extra sweater to school for Jungkook on rainy days or even skip classes to stay with Jungkook in the sickbay whenever Jungkook got sick.

Jungkook had believed in Jimin's little gestures and sweet words. He had swam and almost drowned in Jimin's words.

"I'll never force you to do what you don't want to do, darling. I'm ready whenever you are."

And the soft, wet and passionate kisses that always caused an uproar in Jungkook's stomach. Jimin had been the best.

He had been the one.

And Jungkook had also believed he had been Jimin's one. Which wasn't exactly wrong. He had been Jimin's one but Jimin had had a two and a three.

He had been heartbroken when he found out Jimin was cheating on him with a boy from school and another sales dude from a nearby supermarket. And Jungkook wasn't the best with heartbreaks. Every heartbreak was as painful or even worse than the previous, because he had expected himself to have learnt but the pain of realizing he had been a fool more than once excruciated the matter.

Was it his fault? But he always told them prior to when they begin dating. He always told them he wasn't ready to have sex. Sex scared him!

The bible had condemned sex before marriage. Not like he was a saint but he found the idea of sex as sacred. Plus the thought of someone pushing their member into his small body was making his anxiety level to heighten.

Sex just wasn't it for him. It was too painful. They say it gets pleasurable after the first time but the pain of that first time wasn't it for him. He wasn't ready for that pain.

And at that moment no one was worth feeling that pain for.

Before he had been willing to go through that pain for Jimin, but after finding out Jimin was sleeping with 2 guys. And with the whole Taehyung drama, he knew he had been right at first.

No one was worth it.

As the elevator took him downstairs, Jungkook's heart hurt. His breathing got heavy and he needed to be away from the elevator, from the enclosed space.

Once the elevator door opened, Jungkook rushed out almost knocking down a man with a bag of groceries.

"I'm sorry," His voice shook. But he didn't look back or wait for a response, he ran out of the building ignoring the security guard telling him no one was allowed to run inside the building.

Taehyung was right. He would die alone. No one could love, all they wanted was sex.

It was frustrating, painful to think as he walked on along the sidewalks all people thought was to sleep with him because he was good looking.

Stupid Taehyung!

They had planned to go to the zoo that weekend. It had been a while Jungkook had gone to the zoo, and a week ago while snuggled into Taehyung on the couch watching Animal Planet, he had announced how much he wanted to go to the zoo. Taehyung had immediately promised their next date would be the next weekend at the zoo.

Jungkook wiped the snort from his nose with his face towel, sniffing deeply and letting out soft breaths through his mouth. He stuffed his towel into his trouser pocket, licking his chapped lips.

People were looking at him as he walked the pedestrian road and it was making him embarrassed.

He wished he was stronger than this. He wished he were immune to heartbreaks. He wished more that he could forget Taehyung

Like the universe was against him, drops of water began to make contact with his body and as fast as people started to run in all directions, the water came like storm.

Jungkook had to seek refuge under the canopy, outside a Cafe. He looked up at the sky.

When did the weather turn grey? He thought.

The sky was roaring with anger, darkening every passing second and thunder was threatening to tear the city in two.

Not just his mood but now the whole city was gloomy. How depressing!

Jungkook had finally cut off his crying, wiped off his tears and stood under the canopy watching the rain drops hit the floor, forming with the flood and washing down the road.

His relationships were just like the rain. Leaving noticeable dents but never staying. But unlike the rain, when the sun came up and cleaned up the dents of the rain, his memories remained; haunting him.

Jungkook's eyes started to water again, this time he didn't let it go far. He wiped it away before it could form and looked around him.

A man had his hand securely wrapped around a woman as if to warm her in the cold. They were talking in whispers but obviously they were having a pleasant conversation because the both of them had smiles etched on their faces.

Jungkook's lips lifted up at one side into a small smirk. At least, there were people who had nice relationships.

Startling Jungkook a bit, his phone vibrated three times in his uniform trouser pocket, indicating he had a text.

Did Taehyung want him back? He was hurting too much. He would so readily accept his apology if Taehyung used his words well.

Jungkook fetched for his phone and looked at the lighted screen. A small sad smile played on his lips as a sigh escaped his parted mouth.

"Of course, it's you."

From Jinnie hyung <3:

Choco kookie! Are you back from school? You didn't tell me how the assignment went! Seeing as I helped you with it, you probably had an A. Text me back okay? Take care, kook :))

His Jin hyung. Perfect Jin hyung, always there for him whenever he needed someone to comfort him. Jin was the only person who understood Jungkook. Maybe it was because Jin was 19 and in college. He was mature.

No one liked him the way Jin liked him, Jungkook always said to himself. Always waking up to Jin's texts and being the last person to text every night, Jin was the sweetest, most caring person he had ever seen. He would forever be grateful for the day he met Jin, in a cafe. He had been working on his assignment and was having a difficult time. Jin must have noticed the constant frustrated sighs and whining, and approached Jungkook.

He had been really friendly and helped Jungkook with his assignment, saying Maths was easy peasy for him. He had been right because Jungkook had aced the assignment.

Over the months he'd been in contact with Jin, Jin had become Jungkook's favorite person.

His eyes brimmed with tears for the nth time after reading the message, as he managed to type hastily.

To Jinnie hyung <3:

Hyung, why can't they all be like you?

New book alert 🚨

My very first JinKook 😊 How do you see this first chapter? I hope you like it.

This book is not going to contain the fluffy and sappy romance most of you look for, unfortunately. I'm saying it now so most people will not be disappointed in the future and begin to offend me with their comments. From what I have planned out, it's going to be a total emotional rollercoaster.

There will be mentions of self harm, violence, domestic abuse and in worse case scenario, death. If any of these subjects don't sit right with you, don't read this book.

Don't be a silent reader. Comment, vote and enjoy!
