*Jhanvi Pov*

"Mom!" I glanced up and turned my head to see Lakshmi walking near to me with a frown covering her little face.

"Dad?" she asked and I pulled her in my arms before hugging her tightly.

"He went out for work. Will you have breakfast?" I asked and she nodded before moving a little.

"School?" she asked after some time when we still were having food and I am not even rushing her.

"Not going!" I replied and she slowly nodded.

I sat there after she walked away to her room and then suddenly stood up. I am not going to let him go like this no matter what.

First, I need to know where did he even go. I rushed to our room and started searching all his things before getting only a few brochures in my hands.

I was about to throw them away, but stilled looking at them. I numbly walked to the bed and sat down, staring at them.

"Madam! Two people are here to see you." Suddenly Maid announced and I nodded her to make them sit on the couch.

I brushed my tears away and walked out still holding the brochures only to see Kalpana and Pallavi sitting on the couch.

"Jhanvi! I will scold you later, but for now will hug you." Saying this Pallavi hugged me and I immediately broke down.

"Jhanvi!" they both said with worry and made me sit on the couch.

"What are you both doing here?" I asked, brushing my tears away but they are not stopping.

"Pallavi wanted to meet you and today Sudhir is fine to go to school. So, I took her there but didn't find you or Lakshmi as we were waiting for a long time. In the end, we decided to come here." Kalpana explained.

"You should have come here directly." I mumbled, not understanding their long work.

"Pallavi is not so open for Jay and she is angry at him." She mumbled simply but hearing his name I closed my eyes feeling the hurt.

"Did he hurt you?" Pallavi asked in an anger tone.

"Were you angry with Manohar too?" I asked turning towards her only to see a guilty expression.

"She is Manohar's sister." Kalpana stated and I took turns to stare at both of them in shock.

"She was also part of the plan to look after me and pass information if I need anything." She added and I shook my head.

"Then why is she angry at Jay?" I asked her frowning.

"Well, as usual, they both brother and sister end the answer with kidnap. Now, tell me what did he do?" she asked and I sniffed.

"You should ask what did I do." I replied and she frowned.

"Well?" she asked and I showed her the brochures.

"Here, he is bringing all the houses in an area near to my work place and Lakshmi's school. But I..." I trailed off.

"What happened?" she asked, holding my hand passing away the brochures to Pallavi.

"Every time I did everything without thinking about his feelings much. I kept on pointing all his mistakes even after he accepted each and everything. Today I went to an extent saying, it would have been same for him whether it is me or someone else in my place." I replied hugging her and bit my lip to stop crying.

"Shh... but why did you say that?" she asked and I moved back brushing my tears away.

"You said he always wanted a family and I felt like that's all he wants not considering what people involving it." I replied and she groaned.

"No,Jhanvi! I realized the day I saw you both losing your surroundings with each other that his priority changed. Yes! Now, he wants a family, but seems like he wants it with happiness. I saw that in his eyes, Jhanvi. I am sure not all people can bring that to any person. If not for you, maybe he wouldn't have got that." She said and I shook my head.

"How can he get happiness because of me when I hurt him so much?" I asked her and she smiled.

"You ask him that." She replied and I groaned.

"He left me! He left the city itself." I stated and they both gave surprised looks while Pallavi moved away getting a call.

"Where?" Kalpana asked and I shook my head.

"I don't know! But he said he is going to the city he was about to the day he met me at the airport. I thought he must have his old ticket and started searching but found this. He loves me, Kalpana. He said that and walked away not giving me time to react." I replied holding her hand.

"These men are always stupid, aren't they?" Pallavi asked returning back and sitting beside me.

"Don't worry! We will drag him holding his hair if possible." She added and I shook my head.

"No! No one is going to hurt him again and I will see to it myself." I said, getting up and glanced at both of them.

"I missed you both too, but now I need to search for him." I added and they both smiled.

"Do not worry! The search is already started." Pallavi said making me frown.

"I don't understand!" I said, but she stopped me picking up her phone and talked in whispers before glancing at me.

"Okay! We got the city name where he is going. Now, pack a bag and let Lakshmi stay with Kalpana." She said getting up.

"She will come with me." I said and she sighed, nodding before gesturing me to go and pack.

I immediately packed my clothes in a small bag before adding Lakshmi's. I walked out to see both of them talking and then we heard the door bell.

"You bring Lakshmi while I open the door." Pallavi said walking away.

"I will look after here. Do not worry about anything and concentrate on your thoughts." Kalpana said and I nodded before bringing Lakshmi out of her room.

"Well, your ride is here." Pallavi returned with Manohar.

"He is the one who called the manager of Jay and found where he is going. He also said to take you to the airport and booked the tickets too." She added.

"Aren't you angry at him?" I asked him frowning.

"Yes! At him, but not at you and this little girl." He replied, shrugging and I smiled following him.

"I will be here until you board the plane. Give me a call when you are about to." He said when he stopped near the entrance of airport.

"Why?" I asked him frowning.

"My wife orders that I need to look after you and also you are my friend. I can see you are stressed." He replied and I sighed nodding.

I gave him a small hug before walking inside the airport thinking about the details he gave me. He already asked someone to pick me up at Kolkata where Jay went and by that time Manohar said he will track Jay.

"Dad!" Lakshmi said when I was walking towards the checking hearing the plane I am going to board ready to depart already.

"Yes! We are going to meet your Dad." I said, smiling at her and looked around remembering the bad memory of sitting in the waiting chair with Ali's money.

I shook my head to keep the thoughts away and also to make sure not stare at the place which was like a nightmare a few times.

However, looking at Lakshmi's frowning face while staring behind me, I turned around only to stiffen in my stance.

What the hell! I thought, staring at him and slowly walked near to him, hoping that this is not some dream. There he is sitting on the chair with hands on either side of his face looking down.

"Jay?" I called in a whisper and he immediately glanced up before stiffening.

Then he glanced at Lakshmi before glancing at the bag. He got up saying, "You are going near Ali?"

I fumed at his question, but kept silent while he rubbed his forehead before moving near to me. I stared at him and he frowned staring back at me.

"Why are you going away?" he asked and I finally opened my mouth asking, "Weren't you?"

"Yes! But for a few days to give your needed space and time. Then we would have solved everything." He said and I suddenly felt more anger.

"You..." I started, but controlled myself taking a deep breath.

"Are these the only bags you brought?" I asked, seeing one bag he packed today and another a briefcase.

"Yes!" he replied, frowning.

"Hold them together." I stated and he didn't after a second.

"Now, let's go!" I said, holding the collar of his coat and started dragging him outside.

"Jhanvi! What are you doing?" he asked, but Lakshmi is laughing looking behind by placing her head on my shoulder.

I ignored him and reached outside to see Manohar waiting as expected who is now looking at us with wide eyes.

"Open the back door, Manohar." I said and he immediately opened it while Jay stared at him in shock.

"What is happening here?" he asked, looking at both of us while I was busy in pushing him inside but he is not budging.

"Allow me!" Manohar said and pushed him inside immediately.

"You are getting kidnapped." I said and got inside the passenger seat while Manohar got to the driver seat before starting the car.

"Jhanvi..." he started saying, but I shook my head not turning back showing my hand.

"Don't say a word!" I said and he didn't again.

"Thanks for all your help." I said, smiling at Manohar getting down from the car and he smiled back.

"I will inform Kalpana and Pallavi about change of events." He said and I nodded before glancing to my side to see Jay having a frowning expression.

"We may never get close or anything but hurt her, you will answer me." He added before driving off.

"I am hungry! I hope there is some food inside." I mumbled to myself and walked inside to see the maid still there.

"Kalpana madam asked me to settle everything and go home, but come here every morning to clean up for a few days until you both return." She said and I smiled at her confused look.

"No one is going anywhere. Just come everyday normally. But lunch is ready?" I asked and she smiled.

"I already prepared it and was about to put it in the refrigerator." She replied and I smiled at her.

"You can go if work is finished." I said and she nodded before walking towards the kitchen and returned holding her bag.

I nodded at her and walked inside the dining area to see everything is here only. I arranged for the plates after placing Lakshmi at her seat.

"Sit down, Jay! First, we will have lunch." I said and he sat down at his regular place while I sat beside him.

We had lunch in silence before Lakshmi yawned. I felt a little guilty for dragging her like this. So, I immediately took her to the room after she walked in the dining area for a few minutes here and there.

"I love you darling." I said, kissing her forehead and she smiled, kissing my cheek before drifting off into sleep.

"Shall we have our talk?" I asked Jay who is standing near Lakshmi's door but he glared at me.

"Well, come on then." I added and walked inside our room with him following me.

I gestured him to sit down and he did before I stood infront of him. I stared at him and he stared back with a confused look.

"Now, you left so long back. What were you doing in the airport until now?" I asked, folding my arms.

"I left for my office to take the needed documents from my manager who was supposed to go today to Kolkata but I took his place." He replied and I slowly nodded.

"And I couldn't board the plane." He added while I hid my smile.

"Now, won't you miss business work?" I asked him frowning.

"It is not for business! I arranged for a house there all those months back and got an architecture to do it. But thinking we will be together forever, I thought of cancelling it and decided to send my manager to do it." He replied.

"Which house you liked here?" I asked and he gave a surprised look while I brought the brochures near to him.

"I liked these five and thought of taking you there so that you can choose." He replied shrugging.

"So, you love me?" I asked and he nodded folding his arms.

"Why didn't you tell me before?" I asked, moving near to him and placed my hands on either side of his face.

"Didn't think you would feel nice about it." He replied and I gave a pained smile.

"Why wouldn't I when I love you too?" I asked and he stared at me with shock.

"What? But how can you?" he asked and I hugged him tightly bending a little.

After a few seconds he tugged me with a force making me fall on his lap. I struggled a little before settling myself properly.

"What?" I asked him, frowning at his act.

"Say it again!" he demanded.

"I love you! I love you! And I love you!" I said and he pulled my face to his before pressing his lips to mine while I chuckled with tears in my eyes.

"You are sure, right?" he asked and pinched his hand.

"If you don't believe it now, then maybe you can after seeing my love shower over you." I replied.

"Love shower? Now, that is interesting." He whispered near my ear nibbling it and I aid my head on his shoulder with a smile and felt him smiling on my forehead while pressing a kiss on it.

"I thought you were there to go near Ali and then when I saw Lakshmi in your arms, I thought you will give her to me and go. What not? I got so many thoughts in that little time. Then you were dragging me and I saw Manohar out. I didn't know what to think." He continued to talk while I turned my head to stare at him.

"And here I thought you left me and was following you to Kolkata. Did anyone say you talk too much?" I asked and he shook his head.

"No! Actually, I think I got used to it when you were unconscious. So, I am talking to you without having any filter." He replied shrugging.

"And I will never leave you or let you go. Do you understand?" he asked and I nodded, pushing him making both of us fall on the bed before hitting on his shoulder.

"What was that for?" he asked, rubbing the place where I had hit.

"For scaring me! But do not worry because that is the last hurt you will ever receive from me, unlike all these days where I caused you too much hurt and I will stop others too." I replied in a serious tone.

"I love you, Jhanvi! And you loving me is more than enough." Saying that he kissed me again and I didn't let him stop it feeling the complete warmth within after all I know he will not leave me and I will not let him.
