1 | Dust
Third Person P. O. V.
The bodies of the zetsu clones littered the battlefield, covering the bodies of his comrades. A smile appeared on the young blond's as he thought of the victory.
The Allied Shinobi Force had defeated Madara and his stupid genjutsu plan of making a perfect world. It failed thanks to the many people that had fought to the end. Sasuke. Kakashi. Gaara. Temari. Hinata. Kankuro. Sakura. Tsunade. Kiba. Shino. Ino. Shikamaru. Choji. Everyone he knew and loved had fought to keep him alive. They fought so he could win the war.
The echos of them yelling their battle cries replayed over and over again in his head as he searched for the faces he recognized.
He could still remember how happy he was when Madara turned to dust and was picked up in the wind. He kicked some of the zetsu clones, hating that they seemed to smile even though they were dead. It was a smug smile that reminded him that there was the cost of winning the war. A cost he hoped wasn't real. Before Madara died he had said something about everyone being dead.He remembered how he looked around for his friends, only to find bodies everywhere.
Friends were the people that stick with you from your darkest days to your best days. The people that pick you up when you fall, the people that love you no matter what. Friends are meant to always be with you, but that's not the case.
The Fourth Great Ninja war was ending, but at a cost that shouldn't have been paid. The cost was the lives of everybody but the blond boy. The blond walked through the sea of bodies, trying to avoid the puddles of blood. Now the blond understood why Tsunade had a fear of blood. Seeing the blood of those you care about most would break someone.
The boy searched the faces looking for those that look familiar, and searching for one face in particular. A face he hoped was still as beautiful as ever. He did not care what he looked like. He didn't care that his clothes were ripped, and blood seeped through the tears. What mattered to him was finding his friends bodies. He needed to know if any of them were alive. At least the man he loved should be alive. They needed to be. They were his friends. Friends were there for friends. Friends don't leave friends behind. Right? Wrong. He smelled their blood before he saw them. The blood of his friends.
The bodies started to appear, faces he recognized came into view, and one by one the memories of what happened to them flowed back into his mind. The memories of their sacrifices in order to keep him alive.
To keep the future Hokage alive as Hinata put it.Tears threatened to spill, and all he could do was wonder why had they sacrificed themselves for him. What was the true reason for sacrificing themselves? They couldn't have done it just so he could be Hokage. So Why? The one question he thought over and over again.
A body of a raven haired boy was the first one he came across. Sasuke Uchiha. Why had Sasuke jumped in front of him when Madara was going to stab him?
The next body was curled up next to that of the dead Neji Hyuuga. Hinata Hyuuga. Why did Hinata go all out to protect him from the wood that sprouted up from the ground? Maybe she did it because she wanted to be with Neji and die a hero.
A pink haired shinobi looked as if she was crawling towards Sasuke, but she never made it. Maybe someone could answer him as to why Sakura would attack Madara without a plan. But no one was left. No one to talk to, laugh at, or even yell at. Not even the scariness of Sakura to make him cower behind Sasuke, or the shy Hinata that made him feel happy. No friends to tell him "Never give up". This was worse than not having his dad so welcome home to him, or to hear his mother say I love you. This hurt because he actually had been with them. He fought with them, cried with them, played with them, he did everything with them.
He continued to walk through the blood of his loved ones, each time his heart crumbled. A certain pineapple haired shinobi seemed like he was looking at the clouds yet his eyes were closed.
Of course, Shikamaru was lazy, but why did he have to stay asleep? Look at the clouds goddammit! Next to him was a certain food loving man he came to love. Why didn't Choji wake up when he said they would eat when they were done? Barbecue, it's your favorite, Choji. And he couldn't ignore the blond haired shinobi that seemed to have died with a smile. Why wouldn't ino react when he mentioned that Sasuke might take her on a date?
And the blond wanted to laugh at the terrible spandex green suits on the two men. So he even boasted about youth so Lee and Gai would wake up. Yet, not even Gaara woke up from his eternal slumber when he mentioned his siblings being dead. The boy wondered to himself if Gaara even cared. He had to care. What about the Hokage, Tsunade? The Hokage wouldn't yell at him when he called her Grandma. Kiba didn't shout an insult when he muttered dog breath to Akamaru. Even Akamaru didn't give a playful growl when he said that. But what broke him the most was when he picked up the small orange book that had blood on it. That stupid book always go in the way of such important conversations.
The same book that signaled the man was never paying attention. The book he hated so much.
"You brought porn to the battlefield? You do realize this was serious.....?"His voice cracked at the end, seeing he could no longer keep in the tears. He wanted to laugh, cry, even yell at the man. He waited for any response, or indication that the man was alive. The body in front of him did not twitch. The once very laid back silver haired man was lying still. The boy dropped onto his knees, not caring if his orange jumpsuit got dirty. It couldn't possibly get worse than it already was.
His vision was blurry as the tears fell onto the dead man's chest. The one person that believed in him the most, was gone. Ripped away from him. Just when they were starting to truly understand their feelings for each other, and take it to the next level it was taken from him. But that wasn't even the most twisted part about it. The sick and twisted part was the fact that they had won the war.
They had won the war, and Madara was defeated. But at the cost of the world dying. Everyone had been under infinite tsukuyomi, but in that time Madara had killed people. He killed because he could no longer control his power. No man should be able to wield such power. But Naruto was saved, along with team 7, but he couldn't say the same for everyone else.
He couldn't say the same for his friends, his comrades, his village, his world.
His friends protected him to the end, and he knew they would never regret what they did. He can still remember Sasuke joking to Sakura about how Naruto stole 3 people's first kiss and that he was a total player. The lover of Naruto frowned at that, but eventually let out a small laugh.
A laugh that Naruto wouldn't hear again.
Friends are there for each other, so where were his friends now when he needed them the most. What broke Naruto the most was what his lover had said to him. The words that made his world crumble and fall apart:
"In the shinobi world, those that break the rules are scum... but be that as it may... Those that would disregard their comrades so easily are even worse than scum. Just know that I love you, Naruto. "The last words of Kakashi Hatake. The lover of Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze. That was what the man had said when Naruto asked why he would protect him.
Kakashi Hatake protected the man he loved. Like Obito had done for him long ago. He had betrayed Obito unintentionally by killing Rin, which led Obito to where he is now. Damn Kakashi, always breaking hearts. But Naruto's mind wandered to the fox inside of him. Kuruma. Kuruma the almighty Kyuubi no Kitsune that wasn't even the original fox inside of him. This was the other part of Kuruma. The Kuruma that he had bonded with after a few hours of being with each other. And Kuruma understood he would never replace his other half.
Kuruma was barely speaking, barely breathing, but he was alive. The fox slowly raised his head, looking at the world around him. The blood and bodies shook him up since had never seen so much of it. Even this was too much for him to handle. Yet he had nothing to say, because he knew this would happen. The outcome of this war was determined when Madara was brought back. It was going to happen. It was fate. He was prepared to do what was necessary for his container to be happy. Even if that meant almost dying. The giant fox smirked a little, wondering how a boy could change the way he looked at the world.
But this was no ordinary boy. This was Naruto Uzumaki of The Hidden Leaf! The future Hokage. But he wouldn't be able to be Hokage without a village. So Kuruma silently thanked the boy for all he had done for his other half. He had changed the mind of the people around him. He stopped a war that he shouldn't have fought in. He did everything a Great Man would do, but the cost was too high. So the least Kuruma could do was repay him by sending him back. A small white glow covered the world around Naruto, everything seemed to be turning to a white powder. Naruto could feel the ground move, and he knew what was going to happen. He looked down as his hands seemed to turn into dust, and so did the world around him.
He would change the past. He would get his happy ending.
| 過去に私の愛 |
Naruto laid on the bed, holding the older male. The older male held onto the blonde, loving the warmth that radiated off of him. The two bodies were tangled up into a loving embrace, both ignoring the background noises of Konoha. The only thing that truly mattered was holding onto to each other, holding onto the moment. Holding onto love. Naruto smirked when he felt Kakashi tense up at the fingertips going down his stomach.
Kakashi silently cursed Naruto for being a tease, and looked around the small apartment for anything that could distract him. But all he could focus on was the movements of the sun kissed hand moving towards his groin. A small moan escaped him when fingertips brushed against the zipper of his pants. Fingers danced dangerously close to his area, and Naruto knew he was pushing it. But he did not care. Kakashi grabbed the hand playing with his zipper, giving Naruto a warning look.
"Naruto, do you really want to do this?" Kakashi asked. The blonde thought about it, but he already knew his answer. He nodded his head at his lover before taking his hand out of Kakashi's grip. Naruto placed small kisses on the clothed jaw of his older lover, working his way up to were the black fabric ended. He used his teeth to pull the mask down, arousing Kakashi even more. The mask was soon ripped since Naruto couldn't try to be patient.
The silver haired man groaned at what Naruto did. He would have to buy a new mask later, but the look of lust in Naruto's eyes made him forget his problems. Kakashi rolled on top of Naruto so that he was on top. The blonde laughed at how dominant Kakashi was trying to be. But he wasn't complaining. A pale hand found its way under Naruto's shirt, and crawled up his chest.
"Kakashi......." Naruto whimpered softly as Kakashi played with his nipple. The blonde seemed to squirm at the touch, but he still let out a quiet moan. Kakashi smiled at the reaction of Naruto, and removed his hand from under his shirt. Naruto seemed upset at the removal of pleasure, but he said nothing when he saw Kakashi take off his vest, and then his shirt. Beautiful. He had a 8 pack and the perfect v line. Scars from battles covered his chest, but it seemed to make him more beautiful than before.
Naruto traced the outline of each muscle, feeling every scar. He wanted to take everything in. Kakashi let out another moan when Naruto kissed his neck. The blonde traveled down to his collarbone, moving down more so he could kiss further down. Naruto spun Kakashi over so that he was now on top. But not to be dominant. He just wanted to kiss Kakashi, everywhere.
"Naruto, you have to put your mouth to good use more often......" Kakashi tried to joke. Naruto laughed a bit as he kissed down the 8 pack, causing Kakashi to grip the sheets of the bed.
The blond smirked when he realized the reaction Kakashi had to being kissed there. He used one of his hands to play with the zipper of Kakashi's pants, but this time he had the intention to take them off. The black ninja pants were slowly pulled off, exposing well built muscles. Naruto tried not to drool, he even had to close his mouth a few times.
Now Kakashi was left in boxers that seemed really tight. Or maybe they seemed tight because of something else. A blush appeared on Naruto's face as he thought of what could possibly cause tight pants. But Kakashi had taken the opportunity to flip Naruto over, and play with the bottom of his shirt.
"Stop playing games, Naruto" Kakashi scolded playfully. Naruto understood that Kakashi meant to stop teasing.
He wanted to take his time and enjoy everything about Kakashi. From his silver hair down to his amazing legs. He wanted the image to stay in his mind forever. Pale hands tugged the shirt over the blond's head, revealing a 6 pack. The tan skin seemed to have a few scars, one of them seemed very suspicious. But Naruto did get into a lot of trouble so he ignored it. Kakashi placed kisses starting at his v line, then slowly going up each muscle. He even went as far as to lick the muscles.
Naruto jerked his body, not use to the pleasure he was feeling. The mouth traveled up to his neck, sucking on his sweet spot. Another moan escaped Naruto's lips as he fought back the urge to yell at Kakashi for not hurrying up.
"Come.....on......Kaka.....Baka....." Naruto moaned out. Kakashi stopped sucking Naruto's neck, and went down to the shorts he was wearing.
Since Naruto wanted to be a tease, he would be one as well. Kakashi gripped the front of the shorts with his teeth, pulling them down. Naruto was very impressed that he was able to accomplish that. This made the blonde question his beloved sensei, but at the moment it didn't matter. What mattered was that Kakashi's mouth was dangerously close to his crotch, and he wanted to push his head down on top of his boner. That was the real problem.
The blond tried to squirm away when Kakashi tugged at his boxers. But it was no use, Kakashi Hatake had taken them off leaving Naruto completely naked. He was impressed at the size of his student. Of course he was bigger, but he was impressed. Naruto blushed under the gaze of his sensei. This was his first after all.
"Well you asked for it...." Kakashi said, making sure Naruto understood what was happening now. The older male removed his own boxers, which frightened Naruto. He understood the male anatomy and all, but Kakashi was something else. The blond tried to back away from the monster between Kakashi's legs, but the male kept coming closer. Naruto would just have to accept the pain and the pleasure.
That's when the room seemed to dissolve into bits of dust shining in the light, flowing away into a white world. Naruto whipped his head around as he watched the room slowly turn to dust, slipping away from him.
The memories of war came back to him, and he realized this wasn't real. Kakashi wasn't alive and naked on the bed with him. Kakashi was dead on the battlefield along with his friends. The bed started to turn to dust, inching closer to their bodies.
The blond's hands were slowly turning to small grain pieces, tingling as if they had fallen asleep. He looked down at his legs to see that the more he moved, the faster he turned into dust. It was slowly consuming him, making him want so badly for this to be a dream. He watched as the same thing happened to his lover, the dust taking away the beautiful man he loved.
Kakashi smiled at him as if they weren't turning to dust or he was actually an allusion.
"Just know that I love you, Naruto" and with that the allusion of being with his true love turned to dust, only to reform into a completely different place.
Naruto's body had reformed as well as if it wasn't disintegrating seconds ago. He closed his eyes, hating that he had to relive a happy moment only to be brought back to the painful reality that his lover was dead. He could feel the leaves under him, and he wanted this to be a dream. A dream. Kami please let it be a dream.
The pain in his heart made the blond wake up, and realize that this was his reality. It wasn't a dream....It was all real. The birds chirped around him, and he had yet to open his eyes. Opening his eyes would confirm that he was in the past, and his Kakashi was dead. Kurama gave him the chance to change the future, and he would take that chance. All he had to do is open his eyes, and stop living in his memory of his time with Kakashi.
"Open your eyes, Naruto" The voice of Kakashi whispered...
So he did.
