Blueberry and Green Bean Banner
JARVIS let Bruce in since Tony was a little busy in his tech basement. He wandered around the house, which took a while, till he made his way to the basement. He walked in just as Tony let out a loud groan, Pepper hovering over him. Bruce stuttered as he stood at the door, and Tony and Pepper simultaneously looked at him.
"Iii- will just wait upstairs." he turned to leave but was stopped by Pepper.
"You're fine, I was just helping Tony get his reactor working."
There was an awkward pause.
"I'm gonna go upstairs and rethink that phrase. You two do your thing."
Pepper left, without seeing what Bruce had brought, and Tony put his black tank back on.
"What got you interrupting my love session, Hulky?"
"Bruce works fine," Hulk rolled his eyes. "Anyway, I was storming in the woods when I came around this thing."
Tony raised a brow.
"Oh, hold on." Bruce laid his jacket on the table and opened it to reveal a sleeping baby.
"A...baby?" Tony was confused.
"Yeah, but she's abandoned. And, even Hulk has a control around her. So, I've made the decision to keep her. Just need to know her background."
"Sure, Tony can help Bruce with that." Iron man joked, intentionally irritating Bruce.
Bruce did his best to ignore it as he helped the girl sit up as she slowly woke up. Tony stood manipulating the holographic computers to do what he needed to do, searching through databases for the baby's face and DNA.
"This kid got a name?" Tony came over as JARVIS kept on searching
"I was thinking some when I was walking over. Think I'm gonna call her y/n."
"Great. Blueberry?" Tony offered.
"No thanks," Bruce declined, but y/n slammed a fist on Tony's hand, grabbing a bunch of blueberries and shoving them into her face.
"You know you have to keep them fed, right?" Pepper came back down with drinks, seemingly all caught up with whatever was going on.
"She seems to like blueberries," Tony remarked, giving the bag to y/n as he went back to mending an appendage of the suit.
"Look at that, her face is all blue!" Pepper laughed, scooping the girl in her arms.
"Daddy's green, and baby's blue. You gotta whole rainbow there." Tony quipped.
"Says mister red and yellow," Pepper retorted.
"Gold, Pepper. It's gold."
"I don't care. I'm too busy paying my full attention to this little blueberry."
"That's the perfect nickname, Pepper. Thanks."
"No problem, Green Bean."
