Darkness and fears surrounding me 

There is no escape but a trap 

Suffering depression as you can see 

The distance of help is only a gap

Tears rolling down my cheeks 

Wanting this all to just stop

Lights and hope are the only things I seek

I just wanna listen to music and bop

In every single hard time

You are my light that keeps me alive

You are so bright, positive and just shine

Unless like me whose heart is stabbed by a knife

Your positivity assures me much

All my doubts and fears just vanish

The world needs more good people such

As you and bad people should banish

Being glad to always be myself with you

No more worries and panic attacks

Living a happy life just like I should 

Don't worry too much because I'm speaking facts

It feels just like a safe house 

That I think I don't deserve 

You are the cheese and I am the mouse

Everything gets easier and no more nerves

In every single hard time 

You are my light that keeps me alive
