Chapter 2

Ahsoka awoke with a start, she felt something around here waist, holding her in place. She wasn't sure what was going on, but when she looked up, the memories of the last night came flooding back to her, and she smiled. Lux looked so calm and cute sleeping, reached up and kissed him on the cheek. She didn't want to wake up Lux, so she just stayed there, snuggled up close to him. She never wanted this moment to end.

After about five more minutes, she felt Lux stir and moan. She giggled and kissed him, his eyes shot open, but once he realized what was happening, he kissed her back.

"Good morning to you too," he said with a smirk, causing Ahsoka to giggle. "How long have you been up?"

"Oh only about five minutes. You just looked so cute while you were sleeping. I couldn't wake you up," she smiled.

Lux smiled back, and started to get up, when something pulled him back down.

"Where do you think you're going mister?" Ahsoka asked slyly.

"To make us some breakfast beautiful," Lux replied.

Ahsoka blushed as he said this. No one had ever called her beautiful before.

"But I don't wanna move yet, just five more minutes." she pleaded.

Lux looked at her, looking up at him with her big blue eyes. His heart melted, he knew he could never say no to that look. He laughed, "Fine, five more minutes, but that's it. There's another meeting in the Senate today that I have to attend."

"Yay!" Ahsoka exclaimed smiling. Lux couldn't help but smile and laugh back. Her smile and attitude were too contagious.

Ahsoka snuggled closer to Lux, placing her head right above his heart, with her hand on his chest. Lux placed his arms around her waste and pulled her in. She looked up and smiled at him, and he looked down and smiled back. Neither of them wanted to move, so they stayed there well after five minutes had expired.

They would have stayed there longer, hell forever, but all good thing come to an end eventually. They heard a knock at the door, to which Lux answered by asking who was there.

"Sir the Senate meeting starts in 15 minutes, what are you doing in there?"

Ahsoka looked up and Lux, seeing his panicked face and couldn't help but giggle. Lux looked down at her and smiled, kissing her forehead.

"Looks like you got more then five minutes out of me huh?"

"Looks like it," Ahsoka said smirking, "but you can't deny that you liked it." She said coyly.

Lux laughed, "I'll always like spending time with you beautiful." He winked at her and started to get up.

"Why do you have to go to that stupid Senate meeting?" Ahsoka asked, pouting playfully.

"Don't worry love, I'll only be gone about an hour. As soon as I get home, we'll spend the rest of the day together. I promise" he said as he bent down and kissed her.

"Fine," she said rolling her eyes, "I'll hold ya to it."

Lux laughed, "Of course you will. See you soon." And with that, he left for the Senate building.

Ahsoka finally got up from the coach and headed to the kitchen to get some breakfast. She hadn't realized it, but she was quite hungry. She rummaged through the pantry and fridge looking for something to eat, but only found a few pieces of fruit. After she finished eating the fruit, she saw a stack of credits and a note on the table.

Dear Ahsoka,

I assumed you probably didn't have any credits, cuz Jedi don't tend to carry them around from what I've observed. I left you some so you can go out and maybe get a bite to eat–I know there aren't a lot of choices in the apartment haha–or you could just  go out and have some fun, see the city. Whatever you do, have fun, and I'll see you soon.

XOXO
Lux

Ahsoka smiled from ear to ear. They hadn't even been together for a day, but Lux had already shown that he really cared about her. She was actually starting to believe that leaving the Order was a good idea.

After reading the note and eating breakfast, she decided to walk around the apartment and check it out. There wasn't much to see, but when she walked into a room with a mirror, she stopped to look at herself. She saw that she was still wearing her combat clothing, and all the memories came flooding back, she remebered first meeting Anakin on Christophsis, her first real mission with him to retrieve Jabba's son, the time on Mortis, and all the other memories with him, Obi-Wan and Rex. She held back tears, as she realized she may never see them again. Sighing, she realized that she needed a change, she couldn't keep seeing herself in her old combat gear, as it would continue to bring back all those memories. She was very grateful for the time she had spent with the Order, but knew that she had to move on. She knew what she was going to do today.

Grabbing the stack of credits, Ahsoka left the apartment. She wasn't sure where to go, as she'd never really done any shopping before, as all her clothes had been provided to her by the Order. She walked down the street of Coruscant's shopping district until she found a good place to get clothes. She entered and was amazed at how many clothes there were, and for all sorts of things.

She walked around for a while, not really sure what she was looking for. She grabbed a couple of things, and headed into a changing room to see how they looked on her. She tried on some dresses, shirts, leggings, shirts, etc. She liked how most of them looked on her, but one stood out to her. In a way it was similar to hew original outfit from when she first became Anakin's padawan. It consisted of a maroon skirt and a maroon tank top that went down to just over her belly button with thin straps that went over her shoulders. To go with it, instead of leggings and combat boots, she wore white sandals. She looked at herself in the mirror, and loved what she saw. She couldn't wait to see what Lux thought. She grabbed the rest of what she wanted to buy, and took it to the counter to pay.

She walked back to the apartment with a pep in her step, excited to see what Lux thought of the new her. She walked up to the door, and knocked.

"Who is it?" She heard Lux ask.

"It's me," she chirped in a happy voice.

"Oh come in love, I'm on a quick call with Senator Organa."

When Ahsoka entered the apartment, Lux had his back toward her. Ahsoka just stood there waiting for him to turn around. She could hear him on the phone, but wasn't really paying attention to what he was saying.

He had finally turned around to look at her, but continued on with his conversation, "Yes, I agree Senator Organa. It's very important that we–" It had finally registered with him that Ahsoka was no longer wearing her combat gear, but something brand new, something he had never seen her wear before. Ahsoka could've sworn she saw Lux's jaw drop down to the floor, which caused her to giggle.

"Uhm... Senator uhhhh," he was having trouble speaking now, and his cheeks were red as a tomato, "Uhhhh I'm gonna have to uhm call you uhm back, I'm uh sorry." With that he ended his phone call, and focused even more on Ahsoka, taking her all in, looking her over from head to toe. She was even more beautiful than before.

"Get your mind outta the gutter Luxy," she teased. This caused him to break his stare and shake his head.

"I'm uhh sorry," he managed to stammer out.

She decided to mess with him even more. "So how do I look?" She asked, giving him a seductive stare.

"You look uhmm... you look... wow," that was all he was able to spit out.

Ahsoka giggled again. "You look so cute when you're embarrassed," she was just messing with him at this point. She walked up to him and put her arms around him and started kissing his neck and cheek repeatedly. She could tell his face was somehow getting even more red, and he was getting even more disoriented. She giggled again, before finally planting a kiss on his lips. This seemed to break him from his trance, as he began to kiss back passionately.

When they finally broke the kiss, Lux was able to actually get a semi-coherent sentence out. "You look... amazing Ahsoka, like really good."

She laughed. "Why thank you my love," She said as she kissed him again. This time, their kiss was cut short by a knock on the door.

"Who is it?" Lux called slightly irritated, to which Ahsoka again giggled.

"It's Anakin," the reply felt strained and empty.

When Ahsoka heard the answer, she immediately stopped laughing, and her body tensed up. She wasn't ready to face her old master again yet.
